This is a great deal, but the web player as well as the Android app need to improve. I’m a new PS3 user and the app on the PS3 is decent enough. I also agree, it’d be nice to get better quality and a bigger catalog.

However for this low price its much easier to make this decision, and I hope the quality/selection increase. Sony has a real chance here to be a competitor.

I’m enjoying the service and for $1 a month this is worth it, but I really feel like British music is getting a raw deal here…

Where is the Led Zeppelin, Queen, Beatles? They all come up with nothing but covers, karaoke, and tribute albums.

I was happy to see a lot of Van Halen, Aerosmith, Beastie Boys… bands that are usually caught up with licensing
rights. So that was a good move on Sony’s part.

I was going to sub to this for $12 because I currently don’t have any songs right now so by the time I get the free legal downloads and my CDs and make the digital versions I was going to use this since it’s only $1 a month but I thought it had offline mode on iOS but since it doesn’t I’m going to have to think about it. Everything needs to be the same on all devices.

Also, how much KBs/MBs does using this app/playing songs/searching for songs/adding songs to library/playlist/etc use? because I don’t have an unlimited plan and need to know this. Thanks.

Is there a reason why the service hasn’t worked at all for me for like 3 days now? Every time I try connecting I get an error saying “A connection to the server could not be established. This application will close”. Doesn’t matter if I’m over WiFi or 3G. Never works. At 12$ it’s really turning in to a piece of crap, I feel bad for the people who paid full price.
