This week, the Music Unlimited service features new releases from Ke$ha and Wiz Khalifa, as well as Gavin DeGraw, Hinder, Metric, and Mogwai. And, in case you’ve been holding out, it’s not too late! Our limited time Premium Music Unlimited One Year Subscription is still available to PlayStation Plus members at an insanely low price of $12… that’s $1 a month and savings of over $100 a year based off the normal price of $9.99 a month. As a Premium subscriber, you’ll have access to every feature of our cloud-based music service and our entire catalog of more than 18 million songs that can be streamed ad-free across multiple devices, including: PS3, PSP, PS Vita, PC, Mac, iPhone, iPod, Android smartphone and tablets, and more. If you’re not a PS+ member, you can still take advantage of the Premium Subscription deal, which is still over 50% off the price of a full year’s worth of service at $59.99.

On the Video Unlimited service and the PlayStation video store this week, we’re all about the epic Dark Knight trilogy. Own or rent The Dark Knight Rises and watch as Batman contends with newcomers Catwoman and the brutal villain Bane. Can’t get enough of the Batman? Then don’t miss the opportunity to own The Dark Knight Rises (plus Bonus Features), which features over 17 minutes of bonus content including:

  • Beneath Gotham: Dive deeper into the film as Director Christopher Nolan and the production designers discuss the design and build of Bane’s lair.
  • Batman vs. Bane: Check out how the cast and crew planned and filmed the epic fight sequence between Batman and Bane.
  • The End of a Legend: Filmmakers give their final thoughts on working on The Dark Knight Rises and what it was like to be a part of the Dark Knight legend.

Finally, in Collections, catch up on Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise by navigating to the Attack of the Blockbusters collection. Often praised for bringing well-developed characters and great story arcs, Nolan delivers superhero perfection in Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises. Get all the details here.

Why have you been doing away with the free tv section?
The shows have been taken off, only thing left is 8 year old ufc and the sony show…

By the way the dark knight rises isn’t very good.
The only thing that made it worth watching is cat woman..
The dark knight was way more entertaining..

Please lower the cost of standard definition rental prices for videos on psn store. $2.99 for rental is absurd, considering you can get an HD Blu-ray for less at redbox.

I’m checking out that Wiz Khalifa now…It’s not too shabby. I thought that his choice of producers though was lacking. His lyrics are on point though. I just wish he had the likes of Pharrell, Timbaland or even Swizzbeats. I gotta check out Kesha she’s been making moves over this radio and going in on it! Every-time she drop the club jumps!

This Music Unlimited offering is a really really good deal people. Best value for $12 bucks that you can spend on the PSN IMHO.

I recently picked up ps plus & music unlimited for my ps vita and I’d like to say that I love it!
I am able to find albums from artist I can only find a handful of songs from.

my only suggesting is to add some Beatles, and Frank Zappa!
honestly I was able to find everything else.

@7 I heard the Beatles do not allow their music to stream on any service, not just this one. I don’t know about Frank Zappa.

Maybe if there was some kind of high quality loss-less alternative in Music Unlimited.

It’s great for those on 3G or whatever though.

The $12 for a year is very good, and I subscribed myself.

But be aware folks, that if you are running Jelly Bean flavored Android, you won’t be getting any amount of music on your phone from Sony, as they don’t support Jelly Bean software.

FYI.

I’m a bit disappointed. I’ve been using the music service for awhile now, which I love, but apparently I’m not allowed to participate in the offer because I’m already subscribed. The time should be at least tagged on to what I already have… But I can’t even cancel the service and forfeit what I have paid in to participate….

Bad setup…

But, for those of you who have not subscribed, take advantage of this deal…MORE than worth it for PS+ members.
