Last week, you took the plunge into the underwater world of Rapture with BioShock 2 joining the Instant Game Collection. This week, you’ll be busting out your shoryukens and controlling gravity with two great games: Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Rochard!

Sorry But I still think the EU Plus for this month or any month at that, is much and way better than the US updates…
Well if what Morgan says is true, the feedback back to the team is a slow process so that’s a flaw in the system right there, who knows how long it takes for the actual team behind hears everything, especially sense plus is the most vocal i’ve seen on the blogs, heh there must be so much pressure on the team. If there wasn’t it’d show that they don’t actually give a damn about it and sony don’t really care to change things up a bit to make more customers satisfied.
@onard00 Many would agree with you on that one, wait what happened to the guys that was arguing the fact that the NA team brings out more of a higher discounts, hmm they have 12 days of discounts and we haven’t seen anything? maybe just maybe the NA and EU team might be switching it up a bit and bringing us higher retail games for dec? kind of doubt it though
@DonkeyKongKilla: I am not comparing PS+Eu with us. I am asking about the difference between the psn games and retail games by year. Different question altogether. Also, I don’t dislike PS+ much like all the other comments, but I do have questions. Thanks for your annoyance though. :)
WOW!!! Your kidding me Sony! You guys have been letting me down the last few months with your Playstation Plus games. Every Tuesday I am more and more disappointed and even more so every month, but I go out and redeem my Plus membership thinking “Hey they might have something good this time.” No. I’m pretty much paying $20 just to have the Plus next to my avatar. I really don’t think I’m going to renew my membership next month. I’ve spent well over a hundred dollars on my Plus memberships and gotten crap. You’d think you’d have something big this month considering it’s XMAS. One more thing why is it EU Plus has been getting the better games, Crysis 2, Batman Arkham City and Bulletstorm? If I’ve been reading the post wrong please let me know.

@YungShep – honestly still wouldn’t be worth it, I myself not hurting on memory but even with a high connection speed it still download really slow for some odd reason and 18GB is pretty ridic. for a old arcade fighting game

And I love how on every post they make sound all super exciting and like we are getting a great deal. We’er really not. Think about it Plus members pay $20 every 3 months or $60 a year, yeah looking at it’s not much, it’s not. But look at the games we get for free and the value of said games. Nothing shy of BS. They are making THOUSANDS just off us the people who pay for Plus and that can’t or won’t give better games? What you think you’re doing us a favor by throwing us a bone by given us a game that is years old and just about everyone paid full price for and beat it when it was new. Sony that bone has been picked clean. You guys make millions a month and thats not even counth the game systems and games so the least you can do is put out better games to the people who actually pay all this extra hard earned money on the Plus. Jeez, and pay attention to your consumers, WTH happened to “The customers always rite?”

@DonkeyKongKilla it doesn’t matter if we pay every 3 months or every year. My argument remains the same. We pay out x amount of dollars and what we pay is not worth what we get. Agree with me or not. A flaw in my argument about what I pay and what is paid for the year does not change the underlined and serious issues with Plus.

1yr = $50
$80 – $50 = $30 saved
That is a pretty decent savings and can buy a new game on sale…

I love the update this month. I traded my original SFIV and It was probably the worst mistake, but now I get the new updated Version :D . I was actually going to buy Rochard this week when i tried the Demo but I was surprised to see that I get it free as well. I cant wait to see what we get next week :D
Not arguing over what you save on a year membership over what you save by doing it every 3 months. I do it every 3 cause to me spending $20 here and there is better then spending $60 at once. I like it this way. If I pay more this way, then I guess I just have more room to complain. lol.

Great games, but I’m new to Plus and I’m confused about how these games work. I know that you lose the games when the subscription ends, but what if the game is taken off of the store, you have it downloaded, and your subscription is still active? Can you still play it? And also, if your subscription ends and you had games in your download list from IGC, when you renew it, can you get those games again?

I personally dont care if the freebies are stuff I either already own, or are of game types I dont enjoy, as long as the discounts make up for it on other things that week, some people will be on the other side of the fence, not caring about the discounts as much as long as the freebies are good.
Sony should be working to make a very good mix of both, which has been very lackluster the last several updates.

Vita was recently added to PS+, now make sure you guys do not let it fall off track…the content quality/quanity needs to be on par with the PS3’s, dont think of it as a “add-on” to PS+, as some people (several I know personally) signed up for PS+ without even owning a PS3 because they game exclusivly on Vita.

@627 as long as you put it in your download queue, you’ll always have it. you dont even have to download it, install it or play it, as long as you queue it up, your good. it’ll sit in your download list forever.
the games wont go away, it’ll just place a lock on it until you renew, then you can play it like you never lost the subscription.

@Yungshep: I would just really like to see at least one decent RPG in the IGC. There have been multiple FPS and Fighters, never RPGs. That is my issue and my only real complaint with PS+.

I don’t play fighters but i don’t mind trying it. I heard about rochard on steam but never got it. On another note I normally like to avoid reading the comments because there are a lot of mean/rude comments. I understand that a lot of us don’t like the current lineup and that a lot of people prefer the EU selection but I don’t think we have to be jerks to make a point.

buy the plus was the best thing i done.
Dungeon Defenders last month and RE5 gold edition (i know its a little “out of date” but i love this game”), never played KOF XIII, nice game too.
I dont like SF that much, but its a nice game and a game of name.
I am aware of the games in europe plus, but c’mon, is that complain really valid? i mean, we are getting games for free! And paying like… very low.
But i have a question… or a suggestion xD
