God of War: Ascension’s Multiplayer beta is offering up the signature Team Favor of the Gods mode and the yet-to-be-seen Favor of the Gods mode. In both modes, you’ll fight to reach the requisite number of favor points from the Gods, earning points via kills, bonus brutal kills, opening chests, capturing domination points and, if you’re skillful enough, performing executions using the Spear of Olympus. Man I seriously thinking in not pay the plus anymore, this is like the third month with nothing god, and the last month they said “the beginning of the new year is coming whit new games for PS Vita “, and we have nothing, I mean my money works exactly like in EU why they have Batman and Mortal Kombat, and we have Mega Man!!!!! that’s no cool man NOT AT ALL!!!!
So RPG’s got quite a bit of votes in what users would like to see in the updates. But I bet all my testicles and Morgan’s job that we will never see one that has been released in the past 2-3 years for free for plus users.
I’m upset that people aren’t happy with NBA Jam. They must not have had the childhood I had. I’ve been having a blast with it for the last week. Feels just like the old Genesis/SNES game, but with way more players and teams. I don’t even usually play sports games.

The majority of plus users on this blog disgust me. We get free and discounted content all the time and if its not somebody’s favorite game they get on here and complain. I just wanted to thank Sony for all our great plus content, bravo.
Is a game with average between 4 and 7, and in that case I prefer not pay the $18 and buy it and no depend of pay $18 continually, but that’s my opinion just is annoying see what EU have and what we have for the same monthly fee… even EU already have Bioshock 2…
@Badmamajamma – no there’s been a few about the favorite games and wanting to see certain games nothing major comment wise, most of the complainers argue against the fact that EU gets way more bang for their buck and if you don’t believe them check it, they get more exclusive titles and now they’re even getting the games we got in december. I didn’t expect to get the brand new games on this. but they tend to stay in “vintage games” which is a major hold back. most people will not re subscribe. I myself, locked in til October. heh. lucky me.
Wow Iam starting to believe my xbox loving friend saying that the xbox community is better. Iam embarrassed now..nothing but rude kids every time I come here with a few respectful doods. Other than the sports game everything else is a big thanks.
And other thing I know this is not the place, but For PS2 Classics I understand “Final Fantasy X”, “Final Fantasy XII”, “Dragon quest 8” (in my case that I love RPG) but Dora!!!!!! That is a joke I think!!! and not only one or two but 5 games!!!! common!!!
I appreciate the new polls asking what kind of games we want. Would love it if you put up a poll with specific game titles from different genres and see which ones win. Share the results at least when the poll is completed so people can know where their opinion falls among the community.
And…maybe eventually….let us vote on which game is to be offered? Then people can complain to the community more for having poor game taste and not Sony for picking what they don’t like.
@Trieloth – finish a proper sentence structure before you start talking about the immaturity of the complainers. As Morgan said time and time again, the feedback helps it grow. It would include the negative feedback.
Ok, here’s my constructive feedback. Early access, betas, and discounts are nice, but really, the only reason I joined PS Plus is for the IGC. Sometimes it’s hit or miss, so here is my realistic hope of the best month possible:
WEEK 1: a full retail PS3 game. I would expect this to be a coulpe years old, which is fine as long as it’s a top-notch game. Think Borderlands, Mass Effect, Demons Souls, etc. Just be sure to rotate genres.
WEEK 2: a solid PSN title. Think Sound Shapes, Unfinished Swan, Braid, etc. Again, be sure to rotate genres.
WEEK 3: Something for Vita. A PSN game or PSP game would be fine as the library expands.
And that’s it! Basically, I’m saying quality over quantity. As a gamer, my time is too valuable to spend on lots of mediocre games, and I will continue to renew my PS+ membership so long as I am building a library of solid games. I would rather have a small collection of excellent games than a huge collection of sub-par games.
I’m here because I like you guys want to see things get better. I want a ps3 a ps vit in every household in America I want national news coverage on CNN about how wonderful PLUS is I’m sure you get the picture.
I think the U.S. plus system needs to change completely because we have a large gaming population and you will never satisfy everyone we like fighters, rpgs, shooters etc. So why not instead of trying to post that game for download and hope people want it do what you did with the welcome back to psn campaign awhile back once or twice a month. Put up 6-8 games retail, psn, classics, and minis and let us choose the ones we want. 20 point max let’s say retail games are 8 points each psn titles are 5 classics and mini 2 points a piece. Sure It’ll require some work but it’ll get the job done and let points you don’t use carry over for a 30 day period.

I understand how alot of the complainers may seem unreasonable. There have been some harsh comments posted. However, the truth is that compared to EU, US Plus service is not holding equal ground. The quality of the titles released between the two regions has a huge gap. It can seem a little insulting, honestly.
I think, being a company that RELIES on a strong consumer base, that we should assume Sony would like to amend this disparity if they can. It may even take time. They may not even be capable of it. It should certainly be addressed at the very least.
Personally, I am alright with Plus. I will be renewing my subscription most likely. Myrecommendation to others: If you find yourself consistently disappointed in the service, do not renew. While making comments here is good and well, withholding your money says much more.
US Plus team, hope you are taking the criticisms seriously. Plus is a great service. I’d hate to see all that thrown away.
This is the 5th week in a row that there’s been nothing for me. I’ve only got one more week left of ps+. If I knew this was going to happen I wouldn’t of wasted my last few dollars on this service.
The poll asking for genres really drains my faith that Plus offerings are going to improve. Almost without fail, every game offered by Plus has been several years old (the few that weren’t were games like Double Dragon Neon- poor games that were doomed to low sales from the start). I love racing games, and my response to the poll reflects that, but what are the chances that Plus is going to give me a three year old racing game that I don’t already own and actually want? The main problem with the current Plus is not that I’m getting games from genres I don’t like (though it is a problem), it’s that Plus has become a very transparent attempt to offload games that aren’t going to sell any more copies because everybody either already owns them (Infamous 2) or just never wanted them in the first place (Retro City Rampage). Plus is where games go to die.
When you give me a copy of Bioshock 2, a game that hit the bargain bin quite hard just a short time after release, and has been on sale from Best Buy and Amazon on and off for $5 over the past two years, I am insulted. You are saying to me “I think you’re stupid and that you will think this is a tremendous value simply because this is a retail game.”

When you gather data especially in a community forum like this you usually want to do it as openly as possible so that everyone knows your doing it and hopefully participates.
Look at what happened in this case people clicked on the plus update and immediately scrolled down the page to see what was new for the week (loved it or hated it) and the comments started flying. Notice they scrolled right past the polls even asking “Where are the polls?” That central location previously used was what users had gotten used to and was in closer proximity to the content they came to the page to look for anyway so they were less likely to miss it.
One thing to get some of this heat of your back it may help to let people know what your are going to do with all this data (be specific very specific) and if possible let them know how plus works from your end of things securing games. Making them feel involved.
Are people seriously complaining about getting all this content?
You pay 50$ a year for hundreds of dollars worth of content and all you can do every week is complain about the update and how it’s “nothing” for you? Download it, try it; maybe you’ll actually enjoy it.

I’m still upset that I got locked out of getting Sonic 1+2 because I had Sonic 2 from a past PS+ week but I’m glad to know I won’t be locked out of Mega Man 9 just for having bought Mega Man 10.

One last comment from me. About the beta… It takes WAY too long to find a match and we have WAY too many times the “Host Has Left” issue.
