  The Marvel Costume Packs 5 & 6 are compatible with LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and will be made available in LittleBigPlanet Karting in a future update.

Btw the latest improve community patch is really appreciated, hopefully Tarsier keeps improving online functionality on the game. oh and LBP vita is my favorite vita game thus far, i dont understand how sony hasnt advertise this game yet.

I still cannot believe that the cross controller is a paid DLC. If we have a ps3, a ps vita and LB2, the last i would expect from SONY is that i could use both of my devices in a unique way for free, i should not be cahrged for that.

Steven i have a question…i used to own little big planet 1 when it first came out but then as time passed by i was running out of memory space on my ps3 then i decided to trade in little big planet and delete the data… i never expected for there to be LBP 2 @ 3 so is there anyway to get the items i have collected from LBP 1? (besides playing the game all over again?)

  Unfortunately if you deleted your data for the original LittleBigPlanet, you will need to replay the game to gain those items again for both the original LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2.

i love my lbp on vita but we need more stickers and material. i got the cross controler add on but u can only use that materials while in lbp2 cross control, we should have unlocked it in lbp vita aswell. so please bring us new stickers and materials for lbp vita

@9 its 5.00 bucks QUIT BEING CHEAP! EVERYTHING DONT HAVE TO BE FREE.. HOW DO YOU EXPECT DEVELOPERS TO PAY BILLS AND FUND COST FOR MORE DLC AND FUTURE GAMES IF SONY KEEPS GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING FREE..

Coming from the LBP Get Satisfaction page(s), will there ever be an official word from someone about the issues over the Cross Controller pack? Nothing has been said yet and seemingly no attempt has been made. Love the extra content you all offer us for this great game, but that particular DLC needs to be addressed.

OR

Any word on when we’ll finally be able to use our costumes in LBP Karting?

I bought the game at launch and haven’t played in since because we can’t use the costumes from all our DLC for the other games, which was advertised as a major feature/selling point/bonus.

Yeah it’s a good game on it’s own, but because promised content is still unusable, when I go to play it, it feels like I’m playing an incomplete game since I know things are missing that we were all expecting.

So please, what’s up with the costume compatability?

Wow bought the cross control dlc day one and still cant play it yay dont expect my money ever again if u plan on sweeping the problems with being unable to connect the two devices I mean seriously its been almost a month.

Mine has worked perfectly since day one. I don’t know what the problems people are experiencing are.

Has anyone else noticed the head glitch occurring in lbp2 since the last update. if you aren’t the leader, your head is stuck looking up into the corner. its kinda annoying.

Any news on lbpk updates? Even if its as vague as “something next month” I’d be happy to hear, also if there is a better place to go for lbpk related news could someone point me to it? Cause I can’t find much :/

do you guys plan to fix BlckCats hair? it makes parts of the sackpersons head transparent and the hair itself looks nothing like the render shown and also has a very unatural movement when compared to the other hairs and super hero packs you’ve put out.

Nice! Don’t know if this issue has been raised yet, but since the last update, invisible magnetic keys from lbp1 (tags) are visible in lbp2! Please fix this.

I’d love to get the Marvel costumes for LBP, but I can’t justify spending that much money on just costumes for a game. If they came with level packs, then sure.

As for the cross-controller pack, I hate it. So awkward having to put down the controller and switch to the Vita, then back to the controller, etc. I just want solid games (that aren’t identical to the PS3 version) on the Vita, and that don’t use the Vita’s gimmicks just for the sake of using them.

Love the Deadpool costume! Totally planning to pick that up!

@29 Ecks: Wait a minute; Are you switching back and forth as player one on the DualShock and the Vita? Why don’t you just play using the Vita as the controller? While you’ll have to keep a controller connected for player one, it doesn’t mean that you have to keep using it. Controlling my on-PS3 Sackboy with my Vita works rather nicely!

My only gripes about the Cross-Controller DLC is that I occasionally have the “reconnecting” message & that there’s barely any story levels compared to the Move DLC. Still, just like Move: Glad to see some added functionality to the game & what the community can do with it!

Dear Sony

Overall, the CC pack is amazing. Entertaining levels, wonderful music, loveable decorations and inspiring functions.
I am of course overseeing the technical difficulties, but since cross-controlling is quite new I expected no less.

However: comparing my PS3 inventory to my CCVita inventory (after having collected and aced all), I notice that several components on the Vita are missing from my PS3, including:

– 2 interactive pieces of music
– 4 objects
– 1 costume item

I can understand that the object that resembles a tree in a pot is not included on the PS3, since it’s not used in the levels (as far as I could see). However, the Earth object, the Sun object and the Moon object were all in the levels, if I recall correctly, and ought to be awarded on the PS3.

The ‘Holo Eyes’ not being included I can’t tell if unintentional, since they’re only ever seen on the Vita screen.

And the music, I understand, is being added in a future update.

I hope to have helped out, and thank you for not having given up on LittleBigPlanet.

Can I just ask why the cross-controller pack only enables you to use cross-controller with the dlc that it came with.I was under the impression that we would also be able to control sackboy via the entirety of lbp2. You guys and Sony must understand that even if we aren’t able to see anything on the screen for a specific cross-controller game we still want to controller our characters in various games with the analog sticks and enable ourselves to map buttons to the touch screen and back touch pad. Why are we still not able to control the entire ps3 interface via both remote-play and cross controller when we know its as easy ans pressing a button?

@9: You can go play community levels with it for free. Just like any LEVEL pack… the tools used by creators can be used by anyone, regardless of if they bought the DLC pack. You just can’t play the DLC pack’s own levels or use it’s creation tools. it was the same for the Move Pack too.

Why can’t they be used in LBP1? Compatibility rules and keeps 1 still selling

@ps_n_blog_ac. brother in pain. Missed my data (all levels aced and all bubbles collected) when hdd crapped and needed reformatting.

@boomstickbhg. finished story mode and yeah, costumes (DLC and earned) were very missed. and there can’t be seen the compatibility update in the near future

Please, if t(when) LBP3 comes out. don’t use online pass. I know it is to avoid second-hand marketing, but LBP 1&2 have this generous feature to play with the family and each one with his/her profile on the same console, and though when playing online only the host user counts as connected, you still can take the whole party to a trip

@35: Well, LBP2 uses an improved engine. So they may not be possible to be in LBP1 without additional development. Which they already have to do for Vita costumes, and Karting costumes. And we get them to use in all three without any additional cost, so I’d just be happy they put in the effort to keep our costumes cross buy for current LBP games.

Besides, you should really buy LBP2 if you don’t have it because it is amazing! And all you’d really be missing is the story levels, which you can go back to if you want. You’d still have all the DLC levels, community levels, etc.

@Elvick_on Thanks, but how difficult would it be to make the costumes full-compatibility? As for your suggestion, I already own it. I insist on LBP1 because I ‘m playing again and I always find people still playing there, so the game keeps being fresh and current. And just as I protest about the costumes, I gratefully found out that whenever I get some extra prizes on 1 and then switch to 2, my profile updates to load them, so, for that, I fondly thank the developers.
