WOW… don’t blame Sony because you already bought the game and now it’s been discounted again.

Great update. Glad I waited for Unfinished Swan and Machinarium. Can’t wait to try them out.

@ 93 It’s on there! Try looking it up under New Demos, or typing it in under the search bar! And be prepared for a LONG download time for DS3. At least for me took 85 minutes to download, and after that another brief period to install! Grrrr!!!

Vita content is severely lacking this week, guys. :(

Is there ANY news information regarding Crash Bandicoot? I really want to be able to play this series on my Vita and I can’t get anything from you guys or Activision about it. What’s going on? Every other region has the games already.

Just brought Little Big Planet Karting at a steal for 10 bucks. I was at Gamestop and there selling it at full price. I can’t believe I PLUS so much. When I join plus I was all about the free games but these discounts are superb. Since this 13 for 13 I advise the Plus team to do this 12 more times.

Played 5 minutes o Metal Gear Rising and made up my mind of not buying it. Thank you for screwing up the game. What were they thinking with Raiden and this ninja crap -.-’ What a dumb game, no Stealth, no guns, all you do is run around really fast, do dumb jumps, area is limited everywhere you go, graphics detail is horrible, what you cut disappears and has not demolition effects…

@GynPlayer

I think your forgetting something. It’s Metal Gear Rising, not Metal Gear Solid.

Raiden is a Cyborg Ninja, so what else would you expect from a spin off Hack n Slash game made by the team that brought you Bayonetta & Vanquish and has Raiden set as the main character?

I think the game you’re looking for is Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes with Big Boss set as the main character.

always amazes me how many people complain about plus. for $50 a year you want blockbuster games for free. you’re not getting them, but you are getting a boatload of content that you may have wanted at some point and can check out for free. you’re more than likely to get a few titles that you’ve wanted to play before. how much top tier stuff do you expect to get for $50 frickin bucks? sony gotta make money too. divided up over a year, that’s less than $5 a month. and you want them to give you the latest call of duty game (or any top tier just released title.) Amazing.

Really Nice update for me this week! Picked up- Ni No Kuni, MGR Revengence Demo and Dead Space 3 Demo. And since Ni No Kuni was 5 dollars cheaper digitally, I have about 7 bucks left over for the 13 for ’13 sale :) Might pick up Jet Set Radio and maybe The Unfinished Swan! Along with Darksiders from last week and this Awesome week, I will definitely have enough games to last me for a long while! Thanks Playstation!

BEYOND!

Some posters above have stated their regret at purchasing 60 dollar games, only to see them discounted a few weeks, 2 months down the road…This is the reason I have stopped purchasing games on day one. This last year I have only bought Mass Effect 3 and Darksiders 2 for full price on release. I felt I received my money’s worth on both of those titles. I had to buy Darksiders because last Summer there was virtually nothing new to play. Mass Effect 3 was even discounted to 32 bucks, brand new at my local Walmart approximately 6 weeks after release. Most of the games of 2012 had small lengthed campaigns and I ended up renting most of them and beating them in 2 days? I would like to play the new Devil May Cry, but after hearing that the game is like 7-8 hours long for 60 bucks, no fricken way am I forking over the dough for that short of a game. So wait it out on some of these games, and they come down in price drastically in 2-3 months time to justifiable price of 20 to 30 bucks. I will revert back to paying 60 bucks when the Next Gen comes out

@ Alnuk1 Oh hahaha I get it you’re being sarcastic! But at the same time you can’t be, cause Vita got Escapevector, Beats slider for free, and Foosball (free for plus)!

Hey Morgan, Is there any reason why Cladun X2 is now not in the Vita’s store? I’m fairly certain it used to be there.

Also the is there any chance we could get some PSP JRPG/Strategy games for PS+? NIS and Xseed games in particular?

Hey great update, sadly I was left out from all the fun. I had picked up more than 70 USD and try to enter mi debit card (which I had used several times before) then… the nightmare began. I got a message telling that my card is not valid and should verify my information. The information was correct.

I tried with a different card and same result. I just spoke with a friend and he is having the same issue as me. Sadly there´s no support for Mexican customer and hopefully this is something that will be ´fixed´ and everything will return to normal.

Anyway, I hope I can play Ni No Kuni soon.

Whenever Playstation Store gets an update, i would love to get a simple system notification.
I don’t check PS blog much.

@ 131 Since you have PS+ you prob should change your settings on the PS3 for it to auto-download which it does for you, but you have to give it permission to do so 1st!

I’m going to post a question/comment that I KNOW no one on the PS Blog staff will respond to and here it is: Why the heck are the store updates so sporadic when they are actually done? Anyone? After 8pm EST, really? Seriously? Sometimes it’s 4pm, sometimes 6pm, other times earlier or as was the case today ( well, tonight really ) the time that it was. Is it really that complicated of an operation to actually release the store update on a CONSISTENT basis? Is there some form of nuclear physics that must be taken into consideration of said operation that makes it so difficult for this to be accomplished? I don’t get it. You know what is going up in the store and the date… I don’t comprehend how knowing those two factors you can’t consistently get the update done in a timely fashion. Heck I would take a late update every time if it meant counting on a specific time, every time, it would be done.

Perhaps it is my impatience but certainly I can’t be the only multiple console owning chap here. I prefer my digital downloads on my PS3 because I’m somewhat of a Trophy whore and I genuinely prefer playing on my PS3, but really why should I wait til whenever you guys decide to get off of your duffs to actually implement it when I can just go somewhere else and download said game I want, like say The Cave? Or wait all friggin’ day to Download Ni No Kuni when I can just go to Gamestop or Walmart and pick up a copy? I’m not a business expert or analyst with sales stats pertaining to your digital sales but I’ll wager you guys are losing a LOT of lost sales because of you folks not getting your ducks in a row when it comes to this.

Could someone sincerely take us through the process of the store update? Maybe it is a herculean chore. Then again, how come your competition can do it consistently on a set time… All.The.Time.

This update took forever, very disappointing. I have an xbox and if i were not so in love with trophies (you guys are lucky) i would have been impatient enough to buy from your competitor, and this has happened A LOT.
(i think any updates past 4pm are ridiculous might i add, as your competitor can get their entire store updated before 9am… may want to rethink your strategy Playstation.)

Hey guys – I noticed House of the Dead is one of the 13 discounted titles, but you’re only listing the other 12 titles in the “Expiring next week” category. Does that mean this particular game will remain discounted, or is it just a mistake in the list? :D

Picked up The Cave, to be followed shortly by the discounted Sherlock Holmes, and, eventually, by House of the Dead.

Great update this week!

@bluebl1zzard you can get escapevektor for 3 or 4$ in steam or trade it and get it for free.
Personally im not into psmobile, i can get more quality “games” in my s3 if that was the case.
Glad that you can enjoy it.

you should check your own forum sony a lot of people there has nice ideas,so you can improve the Psv “support”.

@morgan or @grace chen
I’m not able to add to cart Foosball on the PS3 store. I get an error “we’re sorry, this product cannot be purchased at this time.” I downloaded it just fine on the Vita. Please let me know if there is a fix or if I have to wait for something to be corrected. Thanks

hi morgan.in the ps store LBP Karting is being advertised as $10.99 for Ps Plus, but once you add it to cart the correct price is shown, $10.00. Just a heads up.
loving that 13 for 13 sale by the way, got LBP Karting, Jak & Daxter and machinarium all for $14.50. that is awesome.
and like others have said foosball 2012 is lame as the ps plus freebie got that game when it released, really didnt like. was full of bugs and glitches.

FANTASTIC update, MG:Revengeance demo, Dead Space 3 demo, Sly cooper 4 demo, Dust 514 beta and Unfinished Swan for me. I’ll consider some of those other discounted games as well. Those are some Steam store level sales right there. Thanks a ton Sony!
