This is really cool… But to bad the pandemic edition is already sold out! :( i wanted that statue… i don’t know if i still could get one, i life in Belgium, so maybe that i got a chance they are still sold here? anyway i will pre-order the game over here as soon as possible, i have to play that game. It looks just sooooo awesome :-D Thank god i have a ps3 thank you so much Sony for the best gaming console in the world! At least @ my opinion :-)

I live in the UK and was a bit gutted about the Post-Pandemic Edition of The Last of Us being a USA only edition, compared to the versions we are getting in the UK which to be totally honest suck in comparison (canvas wrap which was also done for Far Cry 3, Mini artbook.. not even full sized, comic, poster, sackboy outfit and some stickers for gamepad) this has happened time and time again for different games, not just ND games.
I know that Naughty Dog wishes they could release all versions of the game to all the different regions but it is not in their control.
Knowing the quality of the games that Naughty Dog makes this will be no different in that it will be awesome, I bit the bullet and managed to order the Post-Pandemic Edition from Gamestop US and ordered the art book from Amazon UK.
Its going to be an expensive couple of months as already have Bioshock Infinity Songbird collectors edition ordered, God Of War Ascension collectors edition and Tomb Raider collectors edition ordered.
Just relieved that GTAV isn’t out just yet in case a collectors edition of that comes out too.

I will confirm that $150 for the Post Pandemic Edition is an excellent choice. I have a few pieces from Triforce (Lancer, Hammerburst and COG pistol replicas) as it is, their stuff is always worth the money. Was sort of bummed the big art book doesn’t come with it, so I just pre-ordered it from amazon. Even more bummed we never get the sweet Euro special edition for anything. Seems like we get watered down collectors editions for some games.

I see that the SteelBook is included in both special editions, will there be a standard plastic snap case included as well? or are we stuck with the SteelBook as the only case?

Hello, why only available on gamestop? it doesn’t ship to my country and my only source is amazon.co.uk which only has the standard edition.
this is not fair.

Unbelievable, I’m seeing a slight pattern happening here. First it’s Ni No Kuni: Wizard’s Edition with the U.S getting more in their box than europe now it’s THIS!!!

It blows my mind that WHY can’t you let us have the Post-Pandemic Edition. All we get is the Joel/Ellie Editions which is bare minimum.

Sony, seriously, what are you trying to pull here.

Hello Mick, (if you’re still answering question here)

I was fortunate enough to get my pre order in for the Post Pandemic Edition for “The Last of Us” (yay for me). Since the art book isn’t included in this edition, I ordered the art book, “The Art of the Last of Us”, from amazon.com (can’t get enough of The Last of Us merchandise). My question is, will this book be released in time for the game’s release? The reason why I’m asking, amazon has the book releasing on July 2nd, instead of the game’s May 7th release. I’m uber-excited for The Last of Us. ^_^
