New on Music Unlimited

Trapt – Reborn
The dust has settled a bit after two major departures from Trapt, drummer Aaron “Monty” Montgomery and Rob Torres. While Reborn features Torres for the last time, lead singer Chris Taylor Brown took on the lion’s share of guitar work on top of his regular duties, which includes producing the album. The band has chugged along since their breakout single, “Headstrong,” and in spite of the shifts of these members and others, they’ve managed to be “reborn” all the way to this, their 5th album. Trapt kicked off their tour late last week and will end in Upstate New York on February 10th.

WALK THE MOON – Tightrope EP
After a whirlwind rise to stardom, Walk the Moon have wasted no time between an exhaustive worldwide touring schedule and the release of their debut album in June of last year. While they’ve hinted at new material in the near future, they are delivering an appetizer with the Tightrope EP. Its namesake comes from the hit song from the LP and includes an acoustic counterpart, alongside two brand new songs, a b-side from Walk the Moon and a cover of Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House.”
