  • @ElroyMckracken –

I dont have xbox but I regret getting NA+, only Jan month hv been better or equal when compared to EU+.

  • @DonkeyKongKilla –

Same here locked till October. Dang it!

  • @juanfMM You don’t need a poll to see whether the people on here think NA or EU plus is better, look at the 15 pages of comments lol. And I think the reason they don’t include a poll for that is because EU has their PS Plus updates monthly whereas we receive them weekly.

@sab_krit I don’t see how having a Plus membership (already having paid for it) and being forces to keep it can possibly hurt you at all. Except maybe not allowing you to buy games that are already “free”. If anything I would just keep it for discounts/sales.

  • @BlueBl1zzard – I second that opinion, haha. on juan. Someone last week compared the ending week of Jan. update for NA to the first week update of Feb. for EU.

  • @BlueBl1zzard –

It already paid me? paid me is not what I want, I want the numero uno service, not a stupid thing that just satisfies ur hunger. Its Sony I signed up with not a cheap ass chinese gaming console. So u are saying be happy cuz u get ur money’s worth of games? So u are saying untill they pay back for the amount u paid for with garbage don’t complain abt what the other region is providing? Well I can’t and I can’t cancel this second grade service too, what can I do? I can only complain here till my service lasts, if it is poor. Sorry bro, u hv live with it, or NA+ has to step up their game. If Raven’s thought well we reached superbowl thats an achievement and its enuf, they wouldn’t hv won it!

  • This is AWESOME! I’m so glad I waited on GoME. I’ve been wanting it, but money has been such that it wasn’t a prudent purchase at the time. Now, I’D BE STUPID NOT TO!

And I can’t believe anyone on here has the outright gall to say something so impudently entitled as “We’re only getting, like, a $15 game. *sarcasm* Thanks, Sony.” What a bunch of entitled little brats who don’t realize that a $15 game is nearly 1/3 of their annual membership. Wow. Talk about ingratitude.

If you guys want Sleeping Dogs for free, then just wait. We get stuff Europe misses out on all the time. But if they’re getting it now, we’ll get it soon. Hey, maybe even next month. Can’t wait that long? Go out and EARN the money to buy it instead of harping on Sony for not giving you what you want right this moment. Be patient, be mature, and either wait for it, or stop complaining and go buy it yourself like a big kid.

  • @Pendharker –

LOL, yeah right go buy it and dont ask NA+ to be on par with EU+. Yep! NA+ is incapable of doing that. Totally agree with u.

  • Really, has anybody else seen this? This is the kinda of thing I’d like on the Plus for Vita: https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/02/05/ps-vita-sale-starts-this-week/

  • What time is the store update coming today?

  • HEY WINNING YOU KNOW WHAT, IF YOU HATE THE US PS+, MOVE TO EU, GET PS+ FROM THERE, STOP SUBSCRIBING TO US PS+, IF YOU DO AND COME BACK TO COMPLAIN AFTER YOU KNOW YOU DON”T LIKE IT, EVERY WEEK, I WILL MAKE SURE TO REPEAT MYSELF AGAIN AND AGAIN, MOVE TO THE UK ALREADY!!

Sony, MONTHLY UPDATES!! YOU SOLD Big Sky Infinity in some sort of discount already when it came out. Why is it here again?
    Thanks for Knytt though.

  • @avluis –

LMAO over ur immaturity, go to papa and ask him buy a candy. Suck on that candy and keep quiet. what part of not able to cancel NA+ or not able to tranfer to EU+ didn’t u understand?

  • @ BlueBl1zzard dude I know its so obvious why most people would prefer Europe, but since Morgan always has said that he does everything for the sake of costumer service and trying to cope with demands, well he should understand why of 16 pages of comments around 80 to 90% must be about why Sleeping Dogs is a better update than Guardians and overall in the last months why are always better the updates in Europe, lol I mean after at leats 4 months of controversy I believe its time Morgan and SONY America put a little more effort but what the heck Ive got until October.

  • Well, I’m pretty happy with the release. Is Sleeping Dogs a better game than GoME? Probably. The fact is that I didn’t pay for either, so I’m stoked to get anything at all! Thank you Playstation for offering the instant game collection. I pay for the competition’s online service also, and I get nothing for it! Keep it up. I couldn’t be happier with all of the games I’ve gotten since I signed up this last summer! I’m also pumped about the arcade classics on the Vita, but that’s another blog. :-P

  • @Pendharker

Just because they got sleeping dogs doesn’t mean we will, they have gotten a lot of full games that we haven’t.

    @ DonkeyKongKilla

Go look at my post at #690, it took a while for it to show up because of the link.

  • @sab_krit What I said/meant to say was that because you already paid for a year subscription, why would you want to cancel it and not get anything in return? You might as well let it run out and take advantage of the sales, discounts, etc.

  • @spankyj25 – I wish avluis and Pendharker learn how to comment, from u. Instead of bashing others like rabid dogs!

  • @BlueBl1zzard – No I never said I didn’t want nething in return and cancel my subscription. LOL I am not that big hearted. I said y cant they allow me to cancel the subscription with money back within 30 days of using the subscription if not satisfied like other big stores. if they want they can keep the 5 dollars for that week, even tho I would hv lost only 5 dollars instead of raging every week looking at their second grade updates except for last three weeks of January.

  • @BlueBl1zzard – To tell the truth, after first two months I even wanted to not complain and wait it out. But when I see stupid posts like avluis and Pendharker posts, it just ticks me off. I mean what’s their problem if someone complains abt their dissatisfaction towards Sony, what makes them to come in and bash them, if they are happy then y come in here and post stupid comments over complainers. If they are so happy that they can even live with these second hand treatment by NA+, y cant they live with the complainers without bashing them? The complainers are not asking these dumbas*** to provide them with a game equivalent to EU. They are asking NA+ cuz they paid for their service. Why can’t these fools realize that and if needed have a polite conversation with them?

  • I already explained to you idiots why you can’t get what EU does. But I guess you didn’t read it. Or you read it but quickly covered your eyes and stuck your fingers in your ears and said “lalala” and then pretended you never saw it. Why? Because YOU JUST WANT TO COMPLAIN about something, anything. Because you’re pathetic.

You guys can cry about EU all day, every day, but you’ll NEVER get what they get. NEVER. It’s obvious why, but again, you’re all apparently too freakin’ stupid to get a grasp on simple concepts.

  • @sab_krit I have to disagree with you on some points. For one thing, everyone is allowed to complain about whatever they choose, even if it’s other complainers, or people who complain about complainers who compalin about complainers lol. But I do agree that people (yes including you) should act more civilized and respectful when addressing others. Anyway it is annoying though to see posts that don’t contribute any sort of criticsm or helpful advice on how to actually solve the problem, and instead just say stuff like “this update sucks, I’m getting that other console”. That doesn’t help anyone, especially not the Plus team. And if anything you should see very little of those types of comments, cause if they actually were serious about leaving Playstation (yeah, because of an optional subscription program), they shouldn’t need to come back here to comment again.

  • Well, you can all call it a crap update, the fact is we are getting “free” stuff that over the span of your subscription is more than worth what you paid. If you can’t see past the fact that another country with a different set of regulations and offers has different stuff, then that’s your problem.

SCEA and SCEE are two DIFFERENT companies working with two different sets of rules and regulations. I truly feel sorry for some of you that just can’t seem to grasp that and choose to act as if Sony is trying to deliberately rip you off. Then again, most here are probably kids, so I guess to them it will always be that they are getting ripped off when they don’t get their way. To anybody else, grow up. Seriously. If $50/year is that much to make you whine and whine about what you get, what the hell are you doing spending $50 in the first place?

I know its been said often enough here, but the levels of entitlement are amazing. Grow up.

  • thought we were getting Sleeping Dogs this week…wth!!!!!!

  • My favorite excuse for whining that I’ve seen thus far, is the “we got Plus because we’re poor” claim.

Yes, so poor, that they can’t afford to buy the games they want… but they have a console, they had $50 to spend on an OPTIONAL program, they have a computer with an active internet connection, and they probably never go hungry, in fact, probably stuffing their faces with Hot Pockets and Chee-tos as we speak… but woe is them! Poor little guys! They can’t afford to buy Sleeping Dogs! WAAAAAAAA!!!!!

    Lies.

  • LOL, but the biggest of those stupids are, those STUPIDS who doesnt want to pay for the service which he likes so much and still come here like a good troll every week and insult the genuine subscribers. IDIOTS like him are what this community don’t want rather than someone hving threating posts or complainers complaining abt the complainers. wonder what will make that DUMB STUPID troll to stop doing w/e STUPIDITY he is doing *sigh*

  • For the millionth time, business operations vary across different regions due to that region’s laws and local economy. There are other influential factors as well, but it mostly comes down to those two things. No two regions will ever be exactly the same. Never have been, never will be, except in a One World Government scenario. Is that what you idiots want?

Food is prepared and packaged differently in different countries, beverages are produced with different ingredients, health care operates by different protocol in different regions with different traditions… there are so many little things to factor in… if any of you crybabies even understood a speck of what it means to run a business across various regions, YOU WOULD NOT BE COMPLAINING AT ALL. Your complaints all stem from IGNORANCE OF HOW BUSINESS WORKS. You just don’t get it. You’re making asses of yourselves with every whiny post! You know NOTHING! You just like to THINK you know, but you’re really just uneducated, ignorant crybabies who want everything for free, and right now!

  • You’re getting free games yet still complaining? Seriously…

  • I am glad to see at least one discount I am interested in (knytt), but I will also say I am extremely disappointed with GoME. If I see some quality content by march I will take advantage of the 3 extra months when buying a year deal, if not we’ll see.

  • GARBAGE!!!!!!Can I subscribe to EU if i live in the US??.This SUCKS..Was gonna give the benefit of the doubt but..Sleeping Dogs compared to this garbage,,What about the people who dont like playing online with other people? This update is stupid..Over this..and you keep saying we can stack memberships..WHO WANTS TO RENEW?Blah

  • @ AceMcGee,

I stacked my membership. Subscriber until at least mid-2014 as I’m sure a ton of people also have. A few people aren’t going to cause Sony any problems in the grand scheme of things

  • I’d guess certain games sell better in NA than Europe. Why put your game up for free if it still has solid sale numbers in an area?

    RDR is a good example.

  • Anyone trying to talk with sab_krit is wasting your breath. His reading comprehension and memory are about as good as sack of potatoes. It’ll go on and on. Once he’s got your attention he’ll accuse you of things that didn’t actually happen, and twist your words because he’s a child just trying to get a rise out of you. Don’t fall for it, seriously.

  • @ Sevyne,

I know I don’t see eye to eye with some stuff you say, but wow, this!

I ignored him a while back….BEST thing I have done on this blog.

He might try to instigate me when I say something that has NOTHING to do with him, but nope I won’t bite.

He’s not worth it, troll in the truest form. Why people still try to talk to him is perplexing to me.

He pulled the same thing with me right before I ignored his butt.

If you start commenting with him, be prepared to waste your time. He purposely writes in such an annoying way by constantly misspelling words and typing like he’s 10.

If that’s not the sign of a troll, I don’t know what is.

  • @PrimeroIncognito

You don’t know what laws or the process to get the games are so stop acting like you do. If anything EU would suffer if everything you said was true because they have a lot more counties to handle. The US team only has to deal with Canada, Mexico, and United States the EU team has Australia, Croatia, Austria, India, Belgium, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Ukraine.

  • terribles update!! I feel cheated with these games

  • @bamahollis,

More countries does not mean they have more sales. It could be that they have more sales, but relative to the NA market, the percentage is not nearly the same. You have to get out of the mindset that because of one way they operate, it has to be the same everywhere.

I don’t know about you, but anyone that’s taken a course in international business, or heck even a basic marketing or accounting class(at least mine did) learns about licensing and how it works with different countries, and yes it does work in the way he described.

Sorry, but just because you lack the knowledge(or refuse to acknowledge it?) of what happens exactly behind the scenes in cross-country sales, does not mean that it is false.

Different markets, different rules, different goals.

  • @bamahollis

Do I know the specifics that affect this particular business activity? Of course not, and I never claimed that I did. Is this your new pathetic attempt to win an argument you already lost?

I am 100% sure that it boils down to the points that I mentioned however… because it always does. It always has, and it always will. We could only speculate as to the EXACT reasons for the discrepancies, but there’s no denying that it’s due to variations in regional economies/laws, projected sales figures, projected interest in the region, among other things… it’s THE SAME WAY ALL BUSINESSES operate. I’ve done this type of work myself for a couple different companies in two entirely different industries. There are hundreds of factors to weigh when making business decisions for certain regions, and every region is different because the people are different… the customs of the area are different, and believe it or not, even climate can influence these decisions as well. We’ll never know the SPECIFICS unless we work for the company, but the same overall guidelines ALWAYS APPLY.

  • @TitleOne

I wasn’t talking about sells; I was saying that EU has more counties to work with so they have more laws to go through because they have to put out content that works for all those countries not just three like the US team does.

  • A large number of countries would not necessarily lead to more complications, as you assume. There are more countries in the European Union, but they are also much smaller countries, thus, gathering data for each one isn’t as complicated as it COULD BE for countries as large and diverse as the United States.

Also, in many ways, especially in business negotiations, the European Union operates as one large country where the same rules apply to each country within the union, ESPECIALLY when finances are involved (which they almost always are), due to the application of a single currency, the Euro. Certain aspects are undoubtedly easier to manage in the EU than they would be in the United States/Canada/Mexico because of this, and other obvious reasons, such as America’s insistence that they be the big dog in the yard at all times, which usually leads to negotiation hang-ups. Hell, that was the point of merging all those countries into one union in the first place! To avoid issues like that! And that’s exactly how it’s been working out! You haven’t been paying attention!

  • its a bird its a plane, nope its another PS PLUS FAILLLLL i cant even remember the last good game usa had, but i can name at least 4 good ones uk has had in the past 2 months

  • For it being the first Tuesday of the month this is a massive disappointment. I’m going to end up buying Sleeping Dogs anyway but we should have gotten something just as valuable as Europe did.

  • dont forget europe also got batman, bulletstorm, and crysis 2 on top of sleeping dogs. all we got was nba jam and a bunch of 5$ games no one plays

  • @PrimeroIncognito

Sure US and EU have different factors to consider but there is no way that the factors should be limiting the US as much as it is.
I don’t think it the laws and regulations are the main reasons that EU gets better games; I just don’t think the US team is trying to get the same quality of items as the EU team is. I understand that laws and the publishers might make it so some games are not available, but it shouldn’t keep the US from getting around the same number of full games.
Also I don’t agree that it would be easier in EU, because they have had some games that Australia and Germany couldn’t get.

  • @ bamahollis

Well, why don’t you just ask Morgan, ask someone who works for Sony who’s willing to tell you why… and you’ll see, they’re going to tell you what I just told you.

You even admit that you believe that they’re just not trying. What a ridiculous thing to say. This is the proof that you guys have come up with some stupid conspiracy and you’re sticking to it, no matter how much logic someone tries to inject into your brain, you just WANT TO BELIEVE that they’re out to give you the short end of the stick. You’re hopeless. There’s no getting through to people like you and I’m feel like playing a couple new things I just bought, so, see ya later, hater.

  • Guardians of middle earth… are you kidding me? I used to play MOBAs on the PC, like dota or League of Legends, and i really liked them, but this? I downloaded the demo and deleted it fifteen minutes later… C’mon sony, give us something cool, like Arkham City or Sleepeng Dogs [europe got these, lucky bastards]

  • @PrimeroIncognito

Are you really going to try and say that the only reason we doesn’t get the same quality of games is because of rules and regulations, because there is no way the US team is so limited that they can’t even get close to the same number of games that EU gets.
EU team has the ability to get all but two of the full games we have and on top of that get 10 other ones, there is no way that the US team is that limited in power.

  • The last few weeks here were so peaceful while that Primero idiot had taken some time off. Now he’s back spewing the same foul nonsense like he was never gone and everybody is arguing again. As the saying goes: “some people spread joy wherever they go and other people spread joy whenever the go”

  • Any chance PSN will mail NA PS+ subscribers a coupon for some free anal ease or lube since we’re getting ROYALLY screwed? In the beginning I was really glad to have PS+, now It’s only good for backing up game saves. Not sure if I’ll be renewing my PS+ subscription (not that Sony gives a flying f**k).

  • @nolo451 you are right about that, and even if enough people quit to effect their bottom line, Sony still wouldn’t change their policy. That’s just not Sony’s way, they are a “take it or leave it” kind of company. Always has been. I thought about dropping PS+ but in the end I decided to purchase another year, if nothing else I like the online storage, and they do occasionally give away a game that I like

  • @bamahollis88 do not try to make sense of what he is saying to you. He isn’t trying to make any kind of point, he is merely trying to win the argument. He knows nothing more about the inner decision making mechanics of PS+ than any of the rest of us, nor is he any better at guessing. He just likes to sound like he knows more

  • GOME wouldn’t be a bad game if it wasn’t so laggy. I played 3 games and got dropped from 2 of them, and no my internet connection is not bad I’m on a cable connection @30 mbs. It seemed like it was going to be ok but it was to laggy to enjoy anything.
