A lot has changed in the world of Assassin’s Creed III… with the introduction of our first single-player episodic DLC The Tyranny of King Washington this Tuesday, we figured we should reacquaint you with the hero you thought you knew.
In the shattered reality of The Tyranny of King Washington, the events that shaped a young Mohawk warrior into the heroic Connor of AC3 never happened, thrusting a confused Ratonhnhaké:ton into a sometimes torturous, yet occasionally blissful, waking dream. Can he obliterate King Washington’s demented reign?
To combat George Washington, the former champion of American freedom turned power-mad overlord, Ratonhnhaké:ton will need to master new abilities:
- Power of the Bear – Fills Ratonhnhaké:ton with the strength and fury of the mighty bear.
- Power of the Eagle – Delivers a burst of speed, empowering Ratonhnhaké:ton with blinding agility.
- Power of the Wolf – Adopt the master camouflage of the wolf, rendering Ratonhnhaké:ton undetectable.
- Warpaint – A symbol of power and courage enhancing Ratonhnhaké:ton’s abilities.
- Alpha of the Pack – Command a brotherhood of fearsome and ruthless wolves.
The Revolution was just the beginning, Assassins! Look for The Tyranny of King Washington to hit PS3 on February 19th.

@4 : Haha, I was thinking the same thing. Since I’m not that much into the multiplayer. So if each of the 3 episodes of this George Washington DLC is $9.99, at least I will break even on the season pass.
idk if i’ll even download the dlc being a season owner.. felt let down after beating the story and havent touched this since.. ubisoft montreal should stick to the farcry franchise farcry3 was so much better than the last 3 assassins games in such a huge way

Is it actually even possible to get the platinum trophy without having EVERY DLC? I just got the Battle Hardened DLC and now have the trophies for The Tyranny on my list. I mean I would most likely get this DLC anyway but to have the trophies listed BEFORE I get the download? I don’t understand.

@fyrfly89 ive had plat before any dlc even game out, you dont have to get any dlc trophies for any game to get plat
@ fyrfly89: If you put your trophies in “Online Mode”, go to your AC3 trophy list and hit the “square” button on your controller, it’ll break the trophies down into main game and DLC. You only have to get all the trophies in the main game to earn the platinum trophy. There are tons of games I’ve got that I have the platinum and none of the DLC trophies. Happens all the time.

People who liked Assassins creed 3 will definetly like this DLC.

I mean I played and loved All the assassin creed games..I think the first 1 was the best..my internet was down though when I played the AC3 and I played it on my 360.. loved the game hated the experience wish I got it for my ps3..(waiting 4 tax return).. but I don’t get the whole Tyranny thing. Is it a multi player thing or DLC for more missions?
One of the best ideas for dlc this generation. Lets just hope it plays well and has some meat on its bones.

I already finished the main story but I like to play through the story more than once. I can’t wait to play this new content. It sounds like it’ll be fun.
What I don’t get is that Playstation is saying that it’s coming out on the 19th, yet Ubisoft says the DLC is coming out on the 20th. i guess my questions will be answered on Tuesday

Well, this is a load of crap! Ubisoft confirmed this DLC release doesn’t come out until Feb 20th for PS users; so what now PSN?
