Closure is a unique and stylistic puzzle platformer that takes the concept of light and shadow and twists it up into something never before seen. In Closure’s dark and foreboding universe, the only things that exist are what you can see. An object properly lit up is physically there, yet an object shrouded in darkness ceases to be. Experience this mind-bending puzzler free as a Plus member.

This sets off chain reactions of bursting critters that drop the tasty jewels for Biggs to regurgitate for his hungry family. Sporting an 87 / 100 on Metacritic, with 1up.com giving it an A and praising it for its “”Beautiful visuals and inventive puzzles…worth sinking your teeth into.”, you owe it to yourself to hop on this gem for only $1.40. • lol no full games yet! What a joke and he’s saing lot of ppl jumped to GOME as if everyone was so happy abt that update. Another dull week for february. Hope NA+ team is really enjoying with sadistic pleasure by dissing their customers. Good Job No retail games and nothing for me this week too. GOME and Closure might be a g8t games but really dull compared to Sleeping dogs and F1 racers.

  • @41 its called ‘YU-GI-OH! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus’. Its an enhanced version of an older Yugioh game released on Xbox i think. It comes to psn store tomorrow.

  • Is Derrick the Deathfin any good? I’m a sucker for anything resembling stop-motion, but if the gameplay sucks, I won’t be buying it.

  • Closure? Sweet I have been wanting this game for a while :)
P.S. Is it me or do people absolutely love to complain? Also seams like people are never happy with what they get. Oh well.

  • i want psvita discount games :/

  • LOOKS LIKE I CANT DEPEND ON THE US PS PLUS FOR ANYTHING BUT DISCOUNTS. SO I WILL BE TURNING MY FOCUS MAINLY ON UK PS PLUS, A LEAST THEY KNOW HOW ITS DONE.

  • I’m not complaining, nothing interest me this week but i love the service, anyways with that said please take the following games into consideration:
Motorstorm Apocalypse, Resistance 3, Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time, Folklore, Heavenly Sword

Resistance Burning Skies, ModNation Racers Road Trip, Little Deviants or Unit 13 for psvita thanks.

  • i have ps plus only for the vita so nothing for me… morgan will we get ps vita content for the next two week? why cant it be week 1 ps3, week 2, ps vita, week 3 ps3, week 4 ps vita… instead of week 1+2= ps3 , and week 2+3=vita games

  • @Trieloth Yes it is u, eho is complaining.

  • Ain’t too shabby! Been wanting to play Closure for some time now and Critter Crunch looks like fun. I’m definately in the minority but I love quirky games (and can’t always afford them) so Plus is treating me just fine. However it would be gret to see a full PS3 game this month :).

    –me

  • @Fardeenah U count these 5$ cheap psn games as PS3 games?

  • Already knew this was coming and wasn’t exactly excited over it.

On another note, y’all really need to find a better way to handle the Vita Plus update schedule. Throwing them at the very end of the month is fine n all, but it doesn’t really send a good message to those users. You really should consider staggering releases. Like a Vita game on week 2 and 4 instead of 3 and 4.

  • @Sab_krit The argument can certainly be made that sleeping dogs and F1 racers cost more, but I’m actually more likely to play GOME and Closure. So I’m plenty happy.

  • @46 lol i WISHED plus was actually focused on discounts. Can you imagine how many first party games Sony releases that they don’t even discount (Sly thieves in Time, PS All Stars, Ratchet FFA) not too mention overpriced third party games like Kens Rage 2 that could use a discount.

Instead they are discounting games that are already less than $10-15, which is lame. Too many full priced games like Dead Space 3 that aren’t getting any discounts.

  • any information about the playstation all starts battle royale DLC? (Kat and Emmet)
Or will it be delayed again?

  • @Squiggle55 Good for u.

  • Hi Morgan,

Thanks for the update, Closure looks like alot of fun. I was just wondering if there’s any chance of getting a DUST 514 Mercenary Pack DLC sale like EU got a couple of weeks ago?

Keep up the great work! =)

  • I don’t know what you guys are working with for the next Vita Plus title.

I just want to say it should be Little Big Planet Vita if possible. There’s a lot of DLC that would be opened up to potential customers.

  • No Lie this update is weak, we need a good cross play, cross buy. Listen every PSN game should be PS3-PSV to push that vita or plus aint poppin

  • Where is the PS3 game -_- why replace a PS3 game with a psn game -_- that is just stupid and backwards. I played the demo of closure not really my type of game :/ I hope the PS3 game we get is good and not something stupid. ^_^ Give us maybe Deus Ex or Homefront or Portal 2 or Rayman Origins or Duke Nukem Forever or Prince of persia: The forgotten sands or Dragon Age 2.

  • I have to say that I am really disappointed with this update. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful but, how come EU gets full games like Arkham City and Sleeping Dogs but, the US is the red headed step-child who get the lesser games that range in worth from 5 to 15 bucks. I find it funny that this is replacing King of Fighters XIII because that was a full disc game. However when we do get retail games, they are old and I could get them at GameStop for 10 or 15 bucks (Looking at you Bioshock 2). Don’t get me wrong I will definitely try out Closure but, I wish we could get the same treatment that the EU is getting. :(

  • @64: I kind of agree with you actually. I remember before the IGC we had much deeper discounts on much better games. Now when the more expensive games get discounts it more like 10-15% and the games under $10 get the 50%+ discounts and it kind of sucks.

  • And another dissapointing week for ps+ :[ Please tell us you guys have something big in the works for us. At least something like europe’s month..

  • I think a lot of you are missing the point. You need Closure on the fact that to support Sleeping Dogs, they need your money. Whining and complaining doesn’t help the cause.

    Find Closure, move on.

  • I will take alien breed for ps vita:)

  • Why, why sony hate us so much?

  • @ sab_krit that $ 5 dollar psn game runs only on ps3. so yeah its a ps3 game like it or not… would have wished for a full retail game though

  • Not that it will help but I feel the need to point out that when they “replace” an instant game collection game, it’s not like they are taking away your full game and “replacing” it with a psn game. You still have the full game. It’s completely irrelevant what leaves the IGC each week.

  • Closure? looks like a bad copy of limbo, and even so, limbo is a bad game …

Why sony? Why treat us like this? Are we not the same as users of europe? pay for a service like them and give us bad games …

I am sincerely disappointed in you, and your PS + service

  • @Duo how do you know what playstation plus content hits before the blog post it? is there a link?

  • 7 -8 months ago I would be all over that 12 month +3 Plus deal. But now with all these lousy updates, I’m simply afraid to buy 1 year of plus.

In other words, impress that hell outta me before I buy an XBOX 720

  • Ive been waiting for a long time for Urban Trials.

Will Urban Trials be cross play and/or cross buy

    • Although the Urban Trials YouTube video was removed, I can tell you that this title, when it releases on 2/19, is not cross buy.

  • Nothing for me this week. Hoping for some more PSP/Vita + discounts

  • Morgan,

Just finished playing Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Great game! I don’t know if it is possible due to the hardware specs, but has Sony considered porting some of the older PS3 games to Vita like Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, etc.? I know I would love to catch up on a few of those games, but I don’t always have the time to sit in front of the TV on my PS3 to play them.

Also, I don’t want to sound negative because I really feel that you guys have been doing a good job with Plus (GoME was great!), but I am a little frustrated with the update. Closure, which is an amazing game, was on sale back in October or November. It’s frustrating to purchase a game, only to see it turn around quickly and become free. I know I own the product, but it wasn’t a necessary purchase. You understand what I mean? Just wanted to leave feedback.

    • Thanks for the feedback! I get the frustration, but not sure if there is much we can do about that if it was back a few months ago. If we discounted it one week, then the next week put it free; I could see the issue there. But games getting deeper discounts as time goes on is something that’s fairly standard these days, no?

  • @ 34 cristian_h_r
The reason Vita users haven’t been receiving as many updates is because the PS+ service is mainly intended for PS3 users, as it was initally created for them. it was then extended to the Vita in Autumn 2012. note the word extended…it means the service is still mainly geared towards PS3 users (eventually PS4 users) with an extension of love to the Vita users. if you don’t own a PS3 yet, I truly feel empathy for you, as you’re missing out on a huge library of amazing games. just remember that 1st three weeks each month will be for PS3 (though it might be a Cross-Buy/Cross-Play like Fooseball 2012), while the last week of each month is usually dedicated to Vita.

  • I’m reviewing the Playstation Mobile version of Alien Breed, and I can say that it didn’t age well at all.

Dual-stick controls remove any tension from the original game, and the enhanced version makes it even easier. It hasn’t got a hint of horror left, and that just makes it a repetitive and shallow dual-stick shooter. Not worth the $4 it costs on PSM.

  • @Morgan Haro
Don’t mind the usual complainers today, I see some are still not grasping the concept of different regions, different publishers, liscensing issues, currency exchange, etc. I for one will definitely check out Closure, I wanted to grab it when it first came out, but it was too close to when I got LIMBO. question though…has Sony considered approaching certain devs/publishers to port some PSN games to Vita? Certain games like Castle Crashers, Journey, TMNT Turtles In Time Reshelled, etc would look incredible on the Vita screen, even via Remote Play..if that’s ever enabled for most games.

  • Another week, another 200+ posts by people who are not intelligent enough to understand that US and EU are completely different territories and subscriptions that were never advertised as being similar.

Oh how you nubs fail…..Every. Single. Week.

  • Why is it the US gets all the crappy games like Foosball 2012 (which I thought was a joke at first) or NBA Jam or the LotR MOBA game, and EU gets a slew of full AAA titles? I mean they got Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, Red Dead Redemption….we were getting some really awesome stuff for a while there, but lately we’ve been getting junk.

I know, I know. Complaining about free stuff is totally a First World Problem. But still, seeing the EU get better free stuff than we’re getting is disappointing.

  • Nope, think I’ll pass on this one just like last week. NOT a good month for Plus so far. Oh well, got plenty of other games to play in my backlog.

Now, I and others say this every week but we never get any comments about it so here goes again.

Are we going to see PSOne Classics, PSminis, Themes and avatars in the Plus program ever again?! I really miss those from before the IGC game about.

  • It’s not often I’m this disappointed in Plus. But, it’s a slow week I guess and I’d like to try Closure eventually, so thanks.

  • @ezeka_matthew I completely agree with this sentiment. The very thing happened to me with BioShock 2. Now I second guess every game I attempt to buy. It’s a sucky feeling to see something come up for free just months after it was discounted (& purchased). Not a great strategy for long term plus members.

  • Morgan!

Just make a list with all the plus content coming every month just like the EU plus, i’m getting tired of waiting until monday with hopes of a great game for US plus just to get my hopes broke by seeing such crap each week.

  • welp, not much realy. i luv Closure its my fav puzzle game on psn. worth the 15$ i spent on it. il def buy critter crunch for that price. ppl say its great and reviews are great for it. looks corny and childish to me but il pick it up.

  • Good update for me, I’ve never tried Closure, looks like an interesting title.
Critter crunch at that price is a steal! Very underrated game.

  • Morgan doesn’t do that because they are unprepared and are seriously scrambling for a game to give away every week at the latest possible moment. They are not organized like SCEE so they can not give you a monthly rundown. They simply don’t even have the games secure for the month.

  • can’t complain too much about the service overall but the last few updates have been totally useless. I would prefer to see some more full games even if they are older.

  • Sony last year, this month, this week you offered 7 FREE GAMES, 7 FREE GAMES, those games are

    Far Cry 2 (Full Game)
Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom (PSN Game)
    BattleFantasia (PSN Game)
Fatal Inhertia EX (Full PSN Game)
    Hamster Ball (PSN Game)
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (PSN Game)
    Inferno Pool (PSN Game)

That before the IGC was the best plus deal I or anyone else received. 1 year later we get Free Closure and some discounts. I’m sorry sony but last year Valentine gift was much better then this. If you want to make up for this Give us something that will top last year Valentine gift in other words GIVE US SOMETHING THAT WILL TOP 7 FREE GAMES!!!!

  • could you get cheaper game?
