The wait is over! For the next three weeks, we’ll be releasing a new Skyrim add-on each week on PSN. This week, with Dragonborn, you’ll journey beyond Skyrim to Solstheim, an island off the coast of Morrowind. Use all your abilities and skills honed in Skyrim to save the island from a mysterious power that threatens to destroy Solstheim’s inhabitants.
Beyond Dragonborn’s main quest, the content is packed with hours of new areas to explore complete with new characters, new towns, new dungeons and plenty of new side quests to complete. And for elite players that have attained Level 81 status, you’ll have a chance to square off with the game’s fiercest adversary, The Ebony Warrior.

Beggars can’t be choosers. Be glad that at least that Bethesda acknowledge that they don’t know how to properly program for the PS3 over 7 years into its life cycle and got Sony to help directly with straightening out the problems with the DLC (Dawnguard especially as that was the problem one from what I’ve read). Also be glad that we’re getting the DLC for half off for the first week of each (though I think that should be extended quite a bit as maybe not everybody will be able to get the DLC during the intial week of its release).
I’m also glad that with all of the patches they finally got Skyrim running better on the PS3 then it did right out of the box. While they should have delayed the PS3 version until all problems were ironed out like they did with the DLC, at least they finally got things fixed. I’ll be downloading Dragonborn tonight and starting a new character as I haven’t played the game since beating quite a while back with my archer only character. I’ve been playing a ton of other games during the interim like Mass Effect 3, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, Batman: Arkham City among others so I haven’t been bored at all. Ha!
hopefully it updates the store soon. I think they shoulda updated it this morning

you know sony…you’re really gonna lose a loyal customer, and if i go that mean so does my family and a couple of friends that are tight knitted into gaming together.. im sick and tired of the way we’re treated and lied to on your behalf, and secondly on bethsoft’s behalf. if this is not released by today like promised you can bet i will leave this piece of crap outside and no longer use it unless its just to piss on…you need to try and keep atleast one promise you make, and if its is this one like promised i will stay loyal to your crap of a platform, there must be a reason why these software companies are thinking of shying away from ps3, maybe because you guys are liars, maybe its because your platform doesn’t work as well on some games, maybe its because you guys just don’t give a sht about the customer, the gamers that support you, its obvious about that anyways, after all you’re still charging us to download the dlc’s and think its at a fair price for US, us that have had to wait for so long, its not just you to blame though, and i will promise this for bethesda, i will never buy another piece of software from them again….

It’s not just DLC. I play Skyrim religiously. I have put SOO much f-ing time into that game, and it’s finally the day that an expansion to the game SHOULD come out and… I’m waiting…..

I’m with you riley1864. I’ve been waiting forever for this DLC, but I don’t mind waiting a little longer. And to everyone, when they say “this afternoon” they’re probably going by West Coast time, meaning whenever it’s 3 in California, everyone will probably get the store update. Man this is going to be so much fun.
