Yu-Gi-Oh! AND Dynasty Warriors? Well my week is complete. Do you guys know if you are doing any pre-order bonus on Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires on the PSN since the game is only on the story in the US?

I got the same problem with Alien Breed, showed up as free, wasn’t.
I clued in once i saw in the Valentine’s sale that half the games showed up as free.
I checked my wallet, down 7.99.

You might have some people who got the same problem with the valentine’s sale…

*sigh*

Not only was it Alien Breed but it was also NBA 2K13 that was marked free! I unfortunately “purchased” Alien Breed when I thought it was free, now I’m out 7.99! Trust me the game isn’t worth it. Good thing I thought the NBA 2K13 free game was too good to be true and didn’t “purchase” it! Long time plus member, NOT HAPPY!

Hmmm … Persona 4 Arena could be great if would had a discount for PS+ members, anyway MORGAN where is the discounts for PS VITA anniversary, in the PlayStation Store European there is a lot of pretty good offers on the final price of PS VITA games.

Thanks.

To all you people getting charged for the games, had you not read yesterdays update? It said the game was not going to be free for either regular os PS+ members. Why would you think they would just give it away for free?

Surely you did not think that, did you? I realize if it said free on the store, Sony has some explaining to do, but wouldnt you at least try to verify it on here first? I mean Im not making fun of anyone, but wouldnt a little common sense go a long way here?

If you are a regular reader here, you know that hiccups are to be expected when the store goes live. I don’t get my stuff until later today, just so I’m not one of the people that accidentally gets charged, but even then I would have known that its too good to be true.

Hope this issue gets addressed though in a timely manner.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus should be released for VITA too, for real, this is the kind of games you play on a handheld not a console.

Def considering that YuGiOh game, been wantin one for a while. I would love one for vita though. Im sure theyre working on one, but im not a fan of zexal, too much emphasis on archtypes and the new decks are way overpowered. Anyway, even if its just digital versions of the psp ones, I’d buy it in an instant (once I get the money for it)

Will you please acknowledge this was a mistake on y’all’s end Sony and give me my 1 dollar back.

Is NBA 2K13 all star weekend really on sale? I thought the content itself wouldn’t be put up for purchase until around the time of All Star Weekend (i.e., now), let alone get a discounted price. I’m glad I waited, because I’m told its crap.

As for this ridiculous PS Plus error everyone is dealing with, well, just another reason why I’m glad I never wasted money on PS Plus to begin with.

Hi Morgan, I have the same problem. I get into the store and found some games that were free, so I began to download them; but later when I want to download a free trial of other game, I found out that I was charged for 4 games that were supposed to be free. The games are:
-Rayman 3 HD
-Alien Breed
-NBA 2K13
-Might & Magic Clash of Heroes
This is the first time something like this happened to me, so I obviously canceled all these downloads and want a Refund.

77

+ TitleOne on February 12th, 2013 at 5:13 pm said:

@stefer, I understand, but its on the main picture too up there, the price under the picture of the game.

I can understand someone who does not read the blog making that mistake, I just dont get how someone who is a reader of the blog(mondays/tuesdays) would think that the game is all of a sudden free.

Again, not blaming anyone here, just saying, be skeptical, if it looks too good to be true, check the comments and/or wait a little.

They need to address that issue though, it doesn’t make sense that a company as big as Sony would have so many mistakes each time the store goes live. I’m not an expert in what goes into getting content updated in the store, but is it that hard that so many mistakes get made week after week? Honest question.

@53 In the future be sure to check the Cheap Ass Gamer Vita compatibility list. But with Valkyria Chronicles 2, specifically, you need to download and purchase it on a PS3 first and then transfer it over (I guess you can do it all from a computer now thanks to the online store).

I got bit by the not-really-free Alien Breed glitch too. I also got charged for 4 PS All-Stars minions that were listed as free.
I knew Alien Breed was probably a Glitch in the store so while I would like a refund If I can’t get a one for Alien Breed that’s fine,I shouldn’t have tried to take advantage of the glitch. But I did not know the Minions weren’t free and I insist that I get a refund at least for the minions. I didn’t even get a proper checkout page confirming if I want to purchase any of the downloads, just click the download button and BAM money gone.

Hey Morgan,

As others, I’m having the same issue with Alien Breed. It was stated as free, so when I clicked it, I was prompted to download it as usual. I wasn’t taken to the confirmation screen or anything like that. I tried calling customer service but after 30 minutes of being put on hold I wasn’t answered so I gave up.

Any way I can get a refund ASAP?

Thanks. =)

Affecting non-Plus members as well makes it even more ridiculous.

Sony Computer Entertainment has made too many mistakes in recent years. If I was one of the many people who got screwed in this, I’d be asking for more than a refund. I mean, seriously, somebody should be fired for a mistake like this.

HEY ALL – am I the only person who was not presented with ANY option to “add to cart” for the free PLUS content this week, or is this some kind of glitch in the store this week? I sure has heck hope it’s not some kind of permanent feature that they’ve implemented to stop PLUS members from adding content to their carts and purchasing but never downloading (though, I can’t think of ANY good reason why they’d do something silly like that) so I’m guessing that it’s just some kind of checkout glitch. Let me know!

I also got unexpectedly charged for a number of Playstation All Star minions. After a while on hold, I got through to customer support and had a frustratingly awful time trying to convince the agent that I knew how to use the online the store and there was a problem with the update. He did get a support ticket made and I was told to wait 3-5 business days so upper management can perform an investigation. Losing the money wasn’t as annoying as the phone call about it.
