To those of you who noticed Sony’s now trying to push old humble bundle games as the new IGC freebies that you could have bought for a penny (or pay more to support charity!), it’s like a growing trend Sony’s been pulling increasingly in the last several months!!
Look at these recent PS+ Freebies in the past several months, these were all part of earlier humble bundle deals, meaning Sony probably got them to the IGC very, very cheap…. meanwhile “the other continent” is getting games actually worth a few bucks…
Closure – humble bundle #7
Darksiders – Humble THQ bundle
Anomaly Warzone Earth – Humble Bundle for Android
Rochard – humble bundle #6
Shank 2 – humble bundle #7
I can see how something like this can happen, but most concerning is the fact that most of these are recent additions, that’s no coincidence and just further proof that Sony is putting less and less value out there to PS+ users!
February 1 of 2 so far are from previous humble bundles
January 1 of 3 total, and 1 of 1 actual Full Games (!) from previous humble bundles
December 2 from previous humble bundles

@TitleOne / @77 : YES I know that, the price and description is in the store update blog post, in the big picture, AKA this post here.
Now you do realize they update the PSN store long before they actually put this post up on the website, do you?
They update the store, chunks by chunks, for hours, before they post this blog post.
Oh and why would someone thing a game would be free? Playstation Plus. Most weeks there’s 1 or 2 free games, in the PS+ section of the store. Every week for the past 2 years i’ve went there, every tuesday, get the free games. Getting Alien Breed tonight was just like any other weeks for me. Except i got charged for it.

It’s a mistake sure, but I’m not mad. I was charged for 2 games that said free, but I’m sure they’ll either refund my $ or refund it and let me keep the games or put $ in my wallet to make up for it.

Are you completely ignorant or something?
or do you not understand that pricing on games in a humble bundle does not reflect in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER what price the publisher chooses on the PSN store?
Sure, you might be able to get Closure or something for a penny in a PC humble bundle, but the same people that put those games in the humble bundle ALSO choose the pricing for the game on the Playstation store.
Sony does NOT choose the pricing except on first party titles. Anything that is not developed or published by Sony has its pricing controlled by that developer or publisher, again, NOT SONY.
Some people really really really need to get a clue.
And for those of you affected by the free mistake today, hello, it was an error, not the end of the world. You will likely be provided recompense in some way by Sony, which has already been confirmed by Morgan i think.

To all the people that are asking if Persona 4 Arena is locked here on PSN, “Yes, it is.”
So if your PS3 console is not “Region 1″, you won’t be able to play the game. Yes you can buy the game, you can download it, but you won’t be able to play it. It will just give an error.
I’ve tried googling the issue about it, and I can 100% confirm that the Persona 4 Arena is region-1-locked.

Whats the deal with Catherine, how many time are you guys going put this game on sale. As much as this game is on sale why not just drop the price. Thats not the only game that you folks at Sony keep on putting on sale over and over again. There are so many games on the PS3 now and you guys seem to give us discount on the same games over and over again.

P L E A S E separate our VITA and PS3 downloads on the Download List.
It’s getting really confusing with 2,000+ downloads and they are all jumbled together.
A separate list for Add-On DLC (Rock Band 3, etc..) would also be great, but I know I would be pushing it to ask for that as well! :P
Also, please consider fixing your PSN Blog LOG IN for mobile users.
There are people who would love to join in and comment on their iPhone, iPod, Kindle Fire and they are sent to a broken link. This has been broken for 5+ weeks too and Sony Customer Service has no idea what to do.

Hey Morgan, I think what grzajabarkus means in post 125 is that the Minion Super Pack 1 for PS All-Stars costs MORE ($6.99) than the total of buying all 3 packs separately ($5.97). It looks like it’s trying to punish you for wanting to buy them all. Usually, you’d think that there would be a discount instead. Maybe the Super Pack was supposed to be $4.99? Seems like that makes more sense to me.
