New on Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited

This week, we’ve added a number of new albums to the Music Unlimited service. You can get the entire download on the Sony Entertainment Network blog here, here are this week’s highlights:

New on Music and Video Unlimited

Bullet For My Valentine – Temper Temper
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a screaming, thrashing, mosh-pitting fourth album from metal stalwarts Bullet for my Valentine for you and your loved one. The UK-based band has been cranking through the scene since 2005 and have shared the stage with the likes of Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold and as part of tours like Taste of Chaos. The band kicks off their exhaustive tour on Thursday (of course) in Orlando, travelling through Australia’s Soundwave Festival and all across the globe, winding down at the end of June in Sweden.

SMASH Cast – BOMBSHELL
While we’ve been able to enjoy songs each week from the episodes of the NBC series, SMASH, the plot has built up through the production of the fictional Broadway show Bombshell, a story about Marilyn Monroe. Now, following the two-hour season premiere last week, you can hear the tracks from Bombshell in one place. This is an incredible feat for a television show, not only wrapping the plot around the show but writing and performing these original songs, including “They Just Keep Moving the Line,” “Cut, Print . . . Moving On” and “Don’t Forget Me.” Catch up with the story and keep up with the episodes by watching on the Video Unlimited service here.

  • Hey Jeff, I’ve been getting episodes of Ultimate Spider-Man through Video Unlimited, but the latest two episodes to air, numbers 4 and 5 (“Kraven the Hunter” and “Hawkeye”) still are not available as of this message. Can someone please get the episodes available, or at least find out why they are not available? Thanks.

  • …the latest two episodes from season 2, I should have clarified.

  • Any chance that you will make it possible with an update to listen to the music while playing a game on the psvita?

  • I travel alot as Vita owner I ask could you stop regional blocking videos, because I can’t even rent them.

  • Love that there is game music now.

@3: Make the music playable offline, and you can. Depends on the game though.

    Not ideal, but It’s something.

  • Please add the Beatles to music unlimited! :)

  • I’ve been wanting to see Wreck-it Ralph for the longest and now that it’s out I don’t have enough on my card

  • When you buy Wreck-it-Ralph in 3d,do you get a regular version too?

  • Enjoying the video game music channel on MU, but please add the Uncharted soundtracks to MU already. TIA!

  • Please fix the android app for the music…I really do miss it

  • Loving my baby…..

  • “I’m gonna wreck it!”

  • I’m very frustrated that I have NOT been able to access any Music Unlimited on my device of choice (Android phone) for more than 2 weeks and Sony has not been responsive at all in fixing this. Since this is a paid subscription service, it seems like down time should be limited to a number of minutes, not a number of weeks. I’ve called Sony support twice now and they just acknowledge the problem and offer no solutions. I’ve never even had a callback to let me know what to expect on this. I can’t bring my PS3 in the car with me to listen to music, so the service has essentially been a bust. Worked “sort of” good for the first few months, though.
