  • @ZaGe-zAiKaNo,

No doubt some people would still complain, as I have seen since I began coming here in Sept, people complain about some of the dumbest stuff.

Probably would be mad that we got it after EU did or some other dumb reason.

At least people like that serve a purpose, lets you not they are not to be taken seriously.

  • Hello Morgan.

I definitely would like to see all the megaman X games for the PS classics collection, i think is a good update i never had the chance to try vanquish before :)

  • Excellent update!! I will get Vanquish for sure!!

  • Morgan,

Great update! It’s awesome when I can download games for the PS3, PSP, and Vita. Love these weeks!

I hope you guys at Sony make my day on Wednesday, so much so that I go out and put the rumored product on pre-order. I’ve really enjoyed Sony’s gaming systems over the years, and I hope that continues.

    Thanks again!

P.S. If you guys haven’t played Vanquish, the game is great. The story is goofy, but the gaming is amazing. I had a blast with it the first time I played, and I plan on downloading it since I traded the game away.

  • Great update, thanks Morgan. Been holding off buying Vanquish and I’m glad the patience did pay off. Thanks, awesome update.

  • Morgan,

Been loving the introduction of Vita games, I play them before I go to bed, such a great idea to add them to the IGC.

I’m sure we would all be happy with a 2nd Vita game in the IGC each month!

  • How about an option in the polls for Everything this week? Although I have Vanquish, I am happy that a lot of people will get to play it since it is AMAZING. But I am looking forward to playing Megaman X as well!!!

  • @ZaGe-zAiKaNo

Yeah, true, at least they’re very little complaining about us “copying” what EU has been getting. Still, even if we were to get Sleeping Dogs, I’d just say a big thanks and play it, not whine about how EU got it first, or something as immature and as pointless. And you seem like a nice fellow on the PSN, add me if you’d like. This is my first time actually commenting on a Plus update before.

  • Nothing for me once more since i own this one already.

  • Morgan,

Great update this week. It’s nice to see the community tone down the rage for a change (Closure was a great game by the way). The amount of value we get for $50 a year is just amazing, and I think you guys hit a home run with this program! I purchased 2 of the membership promotions, so I’m good until 2016. That being said, is there any chance of an RPG in the pipeline for the near future? Not complaining (I prefer discounts anyway), just curious if it’s being discussed at present. Once again, great job guys!

  • I still have hopes that perhaps there might be a Vanquish sequel in coming… maybe shown on Wednesday? :D

  • Hopefully more people get to experience Vanquish, now. One of my favorite games. Platinum… after MGR, sequel maybe?

  • Vanquish is a great game. It’s very difficult to complete Trophy, and will require serious concentration even at normal mode. But the game always gave some kind of fair warnings before giant attacks squashed me. Tough and fair.
Give it a try, it’s worth it.
Oh, please ignore the story… You will see bunch of Americans that you have never seen in your real life.

  • Aww no “I’m not going to renew” or “Im gonna get a EU subscription!” this week?

. I was looking forward to IDLE, EMPTY, and HOLLOW threats.

LOL, please. PS+ is worth twice what it costs, if not more. If anyone is too blind to see that, you need your head checked.

Great update this month, as usual.

  • Glad to get Vanquish. I was hoping we would after Europe got it. It’s one of the few games I always wanted but never got around to buying.

    Sleeping Dogs next month please!

  • Can someone let me know if Sony will be offering God of War: Ascension, Tomb Raider or Walking Dead, Survival Instinct on Day 1 Digital?

I’d prefer to get them on digital (providing there’s a discount for PS+) but will get the physical copies at a store otherwise.

  • Is there going to be news about what will happen to our PS+ subscriptions after the PS4 launches? I prob shouldn’t have bought a subscription to PS+ through 2016 if I’m not going to be able to carry it over to the next generation! Doh…

  • Hmm after all the failed attempts made by my friend to get me to play Vanquish, I’m happy it’s up there for free so I finally give it a shot. I’ve heard by many that this game is very good.

As for Megaman it’s not for me, but I will be trying it anyway. Thanks for the update.

  • I didn’t know Vanquish looked so much like Dust 514 and even has it’s title!

  • Awesome update! I have almost bought Vanquish so many times but never did because of the size of my backlog! Also excited about Urban Trials discount, just wish it was cross-buy! Great job guys! Thanks!

  • @200 Vanquish is 12gb

  • I bought Maverick Hunter X on UMD back when it was originally released but will be glad to have a digital copy for my Vita and I have been wanting to play the full version of Vanquish for a while now. Can’t wait :D

  • Hi.

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, NFL Blitz, and Foosball are FAR BETTER than this update.

    Best regards.

  • We are all quick to complain when he have a…less than stellar update (such as when we had Foosball) but we must also remember to give credit where credit is due. This is the best update Sony has given to North American PS Plus members in a little while now and it is nice to see.

Morgan please thank the team (and thank you as well!) for the proper promotional title. What I mean by that is releasing Vanquish during the week Platinum’s next big game is out is a great idea and should be done more often. During Super Bowl week instead of Madden being on sale it should have been free for PS Plus members, that type of thing. When Sly Cooper came out a couple of weeks ago the Sly Collection (at least one of the titles in it, if not the whole collection) should have been free to help hype up Thieves in time (which is fantastic!).

    Great job this week!

  • Really solid update on all fronts. I’ve been downloading vita games in anticipation, but have finally taken the plunge. Looking forward to Maverick Hunter X.

I will be playing Vanquish in French. This is possible, non?

  • never played a megaman game ever… gonna give it a try soon… @ morgan.. can we expect a vita game for next week? normally we get atleast two vita games per month right?

  • @221 TY

  • @Saeed-Al-Dosary

    Go kill yourself.

  • Nothing for me here, but it’s a solid update for people who like shooters, not my case.
I really liked Closure better than this week, but I think it’s fair to see others getting content they want too.
But I still hope to see some RPGs on the ICG, I mean, what was the last RPG we got? I can’t even remember.

  • This is further confirming my suspicions that EU and NA just have the same lists for IGC and do the games at differing time points *laughs*

MUCH better update than last week, this is more in line with what EU tends to get. I’m usually pretty vocal about my displeasure on the disparity between the two, but can’t complain this week :D

  • i would prefer an update on the thirty dollars you charged to my credit card last week without my permission

  • Finally a week where I will actually download the games offered! Nice work this time out NA plus keep it up! Dissapointed Urban Trials isn’t cross buy though. No way I am interested in paying over $20 to have both versions of an indie game. I had planned to jump all over it but I think I’ll wait for a review now and if it delivers, I will buy the Vita version and that will be the end of it.

  • Oh good Vanquish is a great game…I already have it its been a while but its a great chance for those who dont have it yet….btw its nice to see PSP receiving some support….I’ll pick Mega-Man to relive some old memories and that Urban Trial looks good…but I’ll have to try a demo first.Good update overall.

  • How about a discount or price drop for on a classic games like God Of War collection 1,2 and Uncharted 1,2 ?
The best downloadable deal on PSN for me was Assassin’s creed 3 Gold Edition on christmas since that deal no good deal .

  • Oh and I wanna ask something…please put Jackie Chan Stuntmaster in the PS1 classics….I lost my CD and I’m dying to play that game again its been years since I last played….please put in the classics and I’ll buy in a heartbeat.

  • Wow that’s pretty good.

  • Excellent! I love Vanquish! It’s too bad it didn’t get the level of praise it deserved, but now at least everyone with Plus can give it a go and see what they missed. Also happy to see the Dust 514 starter pack free on Plus; I’ve been curious about Dust, but now I’ll finally give it a try.

@28, don’t be ridiculous. Vanquish is nothing like any other game released this gen. The gameplay mechanics – the most important aspect of any game – are completely unique.

  • If you already bought a DUST 514 Start Pack, do you get another now if your a ps plus member.

  • Per usual please allow us to upgrade secondary accounts to master accounts… it is crucial that this functionality is added.

  • Thank you for a fantastic update. I’m very pleased with all of the offered content this week. Vanquish has had my eye for a while and the Dust Starter pack gives me good reason to try it again. It got a pretty steep learning curve, and some basic supplies will make it a bit more appealing. The bmx game also looks worth grabbing since its on sale. This has definitely brightened my plus experience. Thank you again.

  • It’s got*

  • @217 jimmy fox hound. No worries my man it going to carry over. ps+ is not going anywhere for a very long time.Btw great investment :)

  • Hey morgan, Is there any chance of sound shapes, or stardust delta ever being a plus sale or free for plus members?

  • Nice. I want to try Vanquish for a long time and it is now free. Thumbs up.

  • While I already own Vanquish and it would technically be another ‘cheap’ game I’ve complained about, I found it to be a great deal of fun.

So even as someone who has it already, I say it’s a good addition to our IGC.

Thank you, first full PS3 game in a while that I haven’t had a reason to complain about.

Hope we get some non fighting, or shooter or sidescrolling games soon though.

Anyway, nothing for me this week, but even so I think this update is good.

  • Don’t really care much about Mega Man, but I’m excited about Vanquish!!! I’ve been wanting to play it for a long time…I’m glad I held off on buying it.

  • what they need to do is re-do some of the older games from Playstation plus.. I am now I member of this great service but I missed out on getting freebies like the Crash Bandicoot series and a few others cuz I’m new.. so what they should do is take some of the big games they did awhile ago and re-release them even if just for a week on a special holiday or something like today we could have gotten Crash.. I have the first one but would love to have the 2nd and 3rd on the plus program now .. food for thought ..

  • Can’t wait for the updates. Vanquish is so good !!!!

  • Vanquish is a great game, but it was selling brand new for $9.99 last year.

Is there any chance Plus members might be able to get a $5 PSN code if we don’t download any of the freebies (since we already own them)?

I know it’s been said a lot in the past, but in a way we are getting less value for being active, purchasing customers on PSN Plus.
