I am interested, but have a couple of concerns:
1) Having to reposition the PS Eye while playing games (especially exercise games that have push-ups, crunches, etc) is extremely irritating — I hope the PS4 Eye can change its tilt via a simple (hopefully quiet) motor.

2) The sensor noise in the PS Eye was insane, making games like Wonderbook and EyePet which do digital zooming look absolutely terrible. Has sensor noise been improved dramatically at the higher frame rates?

3) The camera resolution not being 1080p like the display will mean interpolation/aliasing (or letterboxing) that will dilute the 1:1 augmented reality presentation. are both cameras 800p, or will one of them be 1080p?

4) With a sub-HD resolution camera, zooming may be necessary to fill the screen in some games. Digital zooming will exacerbate the previous issues, leading to similar interpolation/aliasing. Will the PS4 Eye have a physical zoom that games can control to mitigate some of these problems?

I am excited for the PS4 and the new Eye, but I’ll need to know that these root problems that conflict with the promise of ARG games are resolved by more than just spec upgrades.

Man PS4 is so gonna kick xbox 720′s A. though i wish we could import some of our game data from PS3 to PS4.

Wow really disappointed and I have Sony everything TV, ps3, vita and even a brand new laptop. I mean really who cares about the social bull crap or the dumb little 2cd screen on your controller that’s so stupid. I have always been in it for the graphics and the exclusive game content I really think they are just rushing into this for the money and I’m not buying this crap. seriously we have 3D TV’s now lets take it up a notch I really don’t give a s**t about the social networking hello I have a laptop for that and a phone I can take anywhere. I just think that they should do something more with the actual game play make it better, I want to be in the game more 3D and improve on the motion sensor stuff they need to take their time and really set a HUGE difference from the ps3 in order for them to even call it a ps4. If they are smart about this they should really take a second and listen to what we are saying forget what they want out of it and what their goals are for the ps4 we are the ones buying it LISTEN to your customers and find out what satisfies us as community then and only then you could build the next ultimate gamming device!

Does this PS4 play my PS3 Games? If not then umm No I will not be purchasing this new one. Theres no since in it. Ohhh yay only thing new is u can take pics of your game play & share to your facebook. If my PS3 games dont play on it then I WILL BE STICKING TO MY PS3.

im highly upset. im totally ready for the new PS4 but as we all know the firs-gen consoles always have some issues, so the first wave is just a test run yes its gonnabe fun an exciting but know theres gonna be that one thing that messes up and i dont want to waste my money so i’d wish they would tell us everything about it not just how good it is, and dress it up and make it look pretty I WANNA KNOW MORE… but i definitely gettin one i guess ill just wait for the sec-gen

Almost all of the people complaining that the PS4 is no large step like to forget the way upgraded specs. Those new graphics seen shmexy, and all that RAM… if you dont want to share things, dont, but thats no reason to skip it all.

I’m not buying a PS4 to play PS3 games, but it still would be nice if it was possible. Not worth $200, but if it’s possible, I’d like it to be able to read your old trophy collection and offer you the old games for free if you choose.

the ps4 might be good but it may stell fail if but if thay make it able to play ps3 a lot well not by it thay can make it like $150 to make it play ps3 game as well thay well make more people happy

They have the tech to make backwards compatibility a reality (via Gaikai), but really, they will make more money
by trying to sell us the same games we already own. Sad, but true.

I will not be buying the PS4 right away. I’ll wait to see if they support the $1000 worth of PSN releases I just bought and my 4 years Plus account.
