Crown Contest: LBPC10 – A Stitch in Time

The Contest Crew over at LBPCentral.com are back with a new Crown Contest: LBPC10 – A Stitch in Time. The challenge this time is to create a level based on the theme of time travel.

LBPC A Stitch in Time

The level must feature at least two different time zones and contestants must build an original and stylish time machine to warp between the two zones. Other than that the only limits are those of imagination… and the general space time continuum!

The contest is for BOTH LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and there will be a winner selected from each game. These two winners will be awarded a Rare Prize Crown and the LittleBigPlanet Central Pin! For more details and the full rules of the contest, hop on over to LBPCentral.com.

LittleBigPlanet 2: Mm Picks

We have a brand new selection of LittleBigPlanet 2: Mm Picks for you to check out – This week we have a fast-based arcade shooter, a hardcore run and gun adventure from the days of old and a platformer that sees Sackboy climbing the North Tower of the Calamitous Clock.

Nightingale – Northern Flights is an amazing arcade game that sees the player taking the helm of the titular Nightingale, as the craft speeds across colorful skies and through dark and devious bases to stop the diabolical group known as the Harbringer in an intense shoot out of epic proportions!

Mr_Hijinx is back this week with another retro game creation in Peace Denied. This game has an incredible old-school vibe with an 8-bit design and quite the insane level of difficulty! It’s quite possible to complete though and a handful of extremely skilled players have managed to complete the challenge. Have you got what it takes to join them?

Peace Denied Screenshot 2 Peace Denied Screenshot 1

For our last level this week, we join Sackboy in an adventure that sees him ascending the North Tower of the Calamitous Clock. This level sees Sackboy armed with the power to shift the cogs and machinery to clear his path up the tower. It’s quite a mind-boggling twist to the classic gameplay usually seen in Sackboy’s platforming adventures.

Take a trip over to LBP.me to see and queue these great new LittleBigPlanet 2: Mm Picks!

Community Picks: LiBitsmate No. 12

The LiBitsmate team are back this week with their twelfth selection of Japanese Community Picks, showcasing a wonderful selection of levels created exclusively by creators from Japan.

Considering the rivalry between Sackboy and Big Daddy in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, this is pretty awesome!

Now that sounds like a level that I want to play!

Hmmm… Can’t decide if I would rather see an epic boss battle or a 2-player versus level though…

Any idea when Marvel costume packs 5 and 6 will be added to LittleBigPlanet Karting? I’ve been loving it, but really missing racing around as Iron Fist or Nova.

Now that Game Update 1.10 has been released, we should hopefully see those costumes being released for LittleBigPlanet Karting soon!

We have a massive back catalogue of 100s of DLC Costumes that the PlayStation Store team are working hard to get uploaded for you guy asap! :)

This seems like a minor issue, but would it be possible to patch in the ability to turn off gyroscope head-controls in LBP Vita? It’s kind of distracting when Sackboy is looking in a strange direction just because you happen to be holding the Vita sideways or while laying on your back. You can still control Sackboy’s head with the front touch or back touch.

Not a big Biosshock fan (hate playing/being underwater in games or real life) but I like the continued support for the LBP games.

Yay for more costumes and the monday posts.

Oh I will be getting Bioshock Infinite, somehow falling out of the sky feels safer than a swim… odd.

Stay tuned for more news on that upcoming release! :)

Our special Gold Knights of Old Costume Pack will remain a LittleBigPlanet PS Vita pre-order exclusive though.

Awesome! I’ve been looking to pick up LBP Vita, and I was disappointed to hear this was an exclusive, so I’ll definitely be getting this set once I get around to picking it up. Can’t wait!

Will this round out Sackboy’s roster of costumes from his opponents in PS All Stars, or are there still some stragglers he’s yet to add?

I just came here to say…….

LITTLE BIG DADDY!!! :P

Love LBP, never been into the costumes though but I also wanted to suggest maybe MM could make some new levels and sell those as DLC? Just nice to see “pro” levels once in a while and maybe get some inspiration from or learn from, even tho there are TONS of other great community levels as well.

Here’s a request for you:

Please, for the love of GOD, update all the games so they don’t automatically add a multiple players just because multiple controllers are connected to the PS3? I get really annoyed having to disconnect my joystick because the game assumes that because I have a second controller connected that there are multiple people playing.

few things. I got these as the preorder bonus and I don’t remember them having stickers. Do I have to rebuy the pack for the stickers? with the Pre-order Knights of Old pack, on the ps3, the chainmail isn’t gold like its supposed to be, any fix for that soon, I love my gold chainmail on vita. Also, if we purchase the silver Knights of Old pack, will we have 2 sets in different colors or will the silver ones “cover” the gold ones?

I forgot something. I just wanna say that I’ve noticed that Parappa costume Sackboy occasionally dons when you use his level 1 special. Any chance of seeing that come over?

Weird, when I bought this game as pre-order , I received a code to download Big Daddy / Little sister … but when I redeemed on PSStore, it just was a Pass, without these costumes… and I still don´t have these DLC. Do you know what happened ?
