(Also on PSN) The Walking Dead video game takes the undead and brings them out of the AMC Emmy award-winning TV show and into console gaming systems in a new, terrifying way.   Terminal Reality’s first-person action game will allow players to assume the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon on an unforgiving quest to the supposed safety of Atlanta. The iconic walkers will relentlessly hunt down players like their television counterparts using a combination of sight, sound, and smell. As Daryl, players will need to tread carefully throughout each new area they explore.  Once discovered, it doesn’t take much to attract an unstoppable horde of undead walkers, so every threat needs to be assessed, and every situation analyzed. No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, in this new, post-apocalyptic world.

“V” stands for “Victory” in Compile Heart’s Hyperdimension Neptunia V, the third game in the RPG series. Neptune reprises her role as the self-aware main character and meets characters new and old after getting transported back to the ’80s version of Gamindustri. Prepare for a refined and even faster-paced battle system! Fans of the series will be able to immerse themselves even deeper into the mythos of Gamindustri with Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

Dead or Alive 5 Plus

(PS3/PS Vita Cross Play) — With a sensual yet realistic style, characters are rendered in incredibly lifelike detail. New touch controls bring a completely new experience to fighting games. Simple taps, swipes, and pinches on your opponent trigger a variety of devastating moves. Using the Vita’s motion sensor, you can even play vertically for a first-person, full-screen view of your opponent. Both novice and expert players will also find even more ways to up their game with new training-focused modes and a new display of advanced frame data that reveals twice the amount of information for each move compared to previous versions. Tournament players will spend hours analyzing the best moves for their fights.

Carnage_Heart_EXA_PSP_0907_001Carnage Heart EXA (PSP/PS Vita) — The centerpiece of Carnage Heart EXA is the design and implementation of giant robots called Overkill Engines (OKE). By themselves, these robots are unimpressive; only by hardware and software modifications do they become truly terrifying machines. Players will have a multitude of hardware and software options to add to their OKEs including weapons, fuel tanks, armor thickness, and more.

Dollar Dash (PS3) — Dollar Dash will have you shouting for joy and screaming in despair, as you make a dash with the cash. You must attack, defend or outrun your fellow thieves using unique comedic tactics and crazy weapons while making sure you deposit your hard-earned cash in the getaway vehicle before it disappears, hold onto the safe or simply blast your opponent on your way to victory.

Hogs of War — Six nations fight for control of Saustralasia in Hogs of War. You side with one of the nations and fight through 25 levels of turn-based action. However, your army is rather unique: it is comprised of pigs. Yes, the smartest of all barnyard animals have decided to wage a war for resources. On each turn, you control one pig for a set amount of time. You can move the animal and attack the enemy, and when time is up you switch to another soldier in the three- to five-member team. After all of your swine have moved, the enemies take their turn in a similar manner.

Zero Dark Thirty (Blu-ray/DVD – Ultraviolet) — For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. ZERO DARK THIRTY reunites the Oscar-winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (2009, Best Picture, THE HURT LOCKER) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.

  • I love it, Rey hasn’t even gone back to change the “Zero Dark Dirty” error, come on. Don’t you even care anymore bro? XD

  • no GOW:Ascension as digital download D:

  • Ha, zero dark dirty. I’m still waiting for the Vita release of Oddworld: Munch’s Odyssey. Anyone know when the set release date is or is it still “We’re aiming for march”?

  • I just watched a 40 min video on youtube about Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.. It was from the beginning, actual gameplay.. It looked generic and kinda bland, but I was sort of drawn in just watching the game.. It had stuff like sports drinks for health, and holding the R1 (Rb in the video I saw, Xbox version) to perform a stealth kill, it had MRES for health. I saw a hunting rifle… Had to get fuel and stuff. There were some interactions with NPCS..

It reminded me a little of Dead Island. But, I played the hell out of that.

Still undecided though… I got 70+ on PSN Wallet and I wanna get the $10 credit… It’s either this or Tomb Raider from the other week.

  • also I’m surprised that God of War: Ascension isn’t getting any digital distribution.. I mean it’s a Playstation bread and butter franchise.

  • In EU comment list ppl talk so dirty im from the US and I don`t see that talk here :) EU gets a free DLC for Gray fox LOL

  • Good vita week. Not so much regular ps3. But thats ok. I’m glad vita gets attention, i may not own one. (Waiting till ps4 comes around and see what that does to the portable market) but its good to see none the less. And more free stuff anyway. The cave. Another game i never really even noticed honestly. I’m excited to give it a chance and i hope to enjoy it.

Side note. I hope the store updates before 7freakingPM. Also i used my free $10 gift from sony to buy shinobi. Loving it! And remembering that on my ps2 i had a gameshark, and thats how i was able to actually win back then. Now i have to find skills i’m not sure i ever had, good times.

  • hey will they be adding Hyperdimension neptunia V on psn I would love to see that happen so I can get another $10 back

  • Just so everyone know if you download a PS1 game onto your PS3 but don’t install it you can use the content manager to transfer the install file to your Vita and install it. Did it with Resident Evil and Legned of the Dragoon. So stop asking about crash and spyro support, just cuz you can’t download it directly doesn’t mean you can’t play it

  • Doubt anyone actually comes back this far to read, but apparently you need to speak with Activision on getting the Crash/Spyro series compatible with Vita. Otherwise, we’re stuck with remote play as our way to play them on there.

  • All this sounds good and all but can anyone please have a lot more ‘Hidden object games ” (Big Fish games ) come to the PS Vita thank you … I’ve Notice on the PSN a new arrival – Mountain crime: requital which is a plus so I hope it come out tomorrow .. Now that we’re on the subject can I have The mystery of the crystal portal working on the Vita Please ! Thank you .
    Good day …

  • @16 They don’t hate Vita owners, the games in development are taking their time, would you rather have a few AWESOME well made games or a bunch of crappy rushed out the door Vita games?

    Think before you complain…

  • PS All Stars DLC?

  • im new to the whole playstation thing i was always a xbox person till i bought my vita but when does the playstation store update??

  • for a lot of last weeks there is nothing new for ps vita, which can be interesting :( i would like to buy something on vita.. but there is nothing new.. :(

  • when will the DOA5+ release?i was waiting all day but i didn’t see any new release about games or any video, demo about it

  • @114, dopeboy081991. First congrats on being a playstation now. I wish no console war discussion. Just saying congrats and welcome.

As for time. Its a bit of a depressing answer. There is no set time. There have been days it updates by 2pm. Maybe even before thats just the earliest i can recall. But more typically its between 6pm-8pm. Which think is total bullocks. Its my one ever reoccurring gripe with playstation/sony. I just want a set update time frame.

But dont let it turn you away. What i’ve done, is in the back of my mind i tell myself update is actually Wednesday, then at 3am (when i get up to go work) the store is ALREADY updated and it seems like sony is doing things right and having an update promptly.

  • @117 passivefamiliar thank you and ya im not lookin for any argument or debate but really thank you

  • Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops for Vita? Yes?… No?…… Metal… Gear?

  • PlayStation store please get Digimon card battle, Digimon World 1,2,3.4 and Vandal Hearts 1 and 2. your loosing my money.

  • Will Tomb Raider Chronicles be coming to the U.S. store as a PSN classic? Would really love to play it as I missed it back in the day?

  • I love PlayStation! Xbox is no competion…. Nintendo is sorta good but not as good as PlayStation

    1. PlayStation
    2. Nintendo (Close Behind)
    3. Xbox

  • i love the playstation one classics i am trying to say

  • Just purchased Bayonetta on PSN digitally.

Was curious if there would ever be any US avatar options for Bayonetta. I know the Japanese release got an avatar set with the game’s digital release on their store.

Would love to see the same set appear on the US PSN. Even if I had to buy them separately.
