The Drop: Week of March 25th 2013 New Releases

Indebted to the wrong people, and with his life on the line, hired gun Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia.

Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret. Bioshock Infinite comes to PS3 on Blu-ray and PSN on this week’s The Drop.

(Also on PSN) — Welcome to the city of Columbia. Floating amongst the clouds, cruising far above sea level, this is a place unlike any you’ve ever seen. Please enjoy your voyage…

The third game in the popular Bioshock series, BioShock Infinite breaks away from the underwater setting of the first two games to take players into a floating city held aloft by dirigibles. The game is set in 1912. You play as Booker DeWitt, a disgraced former private detective who’s picked up a new case. Your goal is to find Elizabeth, a young woman who’s gone missing and return her unharmed. The only problem is that she’s being kept on this flying city. Columbia was once a symbol of America’s success as a nation, floating around the world as a traveling World’s Fair, a marvel of human innovation. But strange things have happened since Columbia’s unveiling in 1900, and now the city has disappeared into the clouds. DeWitt knows how to find it, but over the years stories have been told about Columbia having unlawful heavy armament and deranged citizenry. Do not expect this to be a pleasure cruise.

nobunaga_iron_traingle_ps2boxart_160hNobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle — Compelled by a nation ravaged by war, it was legendary samurai Nobunaga Oda’s ambition to silence the cries of war and usher in a new era of lasting peace for Japan. In Nobunaga’s Ambition: Iron Triangle, video gamers can step into the role of Feudal Japan’s most powerful warlords and turn this magnificent vision of unification into a reality.

In Iron Triangle, the acquisition of knowledge and a firm grasp of technology are even more crucial to establishing the groundwork for the future of the country. Players must embrace technology, govern wisely and shrewdly, and prepare a near-invincible military force for war on land and at sea. Only with the mastery of these three elements, the “Iron Triangle,” will the nation be united under one sword and will Nobunaga’s dream be realized.

  • Oh yeah , I forgot – why can’t psvita users get access to the premium avatars they bought on ps3 ? I spent a lot of money on these avatars but without a ps3 can’t use them on my vita as my avatar
I posted this to blog share but as everyone knows blog share has been abandoned for months , it still shows ps3 fw version 4.11 and no psvita update on the blog share page when you click the link so that means tney have not updated the site for a long long time , either update it or take the page down entirely if you are not going to take any new suggestions or add anything .

  • Tales of Graces f and Terraria for me!

  • I know lots of people want more PS2 and PS1 games but how come no one has commented on the fact that they are making you RE-buy these games. With the original ps3 you could play all the games without having to RE-buy them. I choose not to support them in that part of the PS3. I know some of you feel you will never be able to play these games agin but please just try and not buy them, maybe they will think twice about the backwards compatibility.

  • What? No “Suikoden 2” for PSOne Classics collection???

  • I hope you guys don’t slap that PlayStation Move label on PS4 games.

  • @8
Yes, but I’m talking about a bundle, including the 3rd, with the price of the Saga.

  • I might be the only one but Saga frontier for ps1 would be so wonderful. I have the disc but it freezes whenever i play reds story seeing as i bought it when it came out a lifetime ago.

  • I Hope that they bring Path Of Neo as a ps2 Classic… next week please i would pay a full 50 bucks.. just to have that game.. please bring that game next week

  • I’ll be picking up Terraria this week for sure!
I loved the original, so playing through it again, but with split-screen co-op is going to be fantastic!

  • Hopefully people can download bioshock infinite, tiger woods pga tour 14, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel @ 12:01 pm EST on March 26 2013

  • @31
You are joking right? You’ll be lucky to download them by 4 p.m. Eastern time.

  • How about a Medal of Honor: Warfighter sale this week? BF4 is being revealed this week and Dice/EA aren’t making any more MOH games.

  • Tales of Graces f and maybe Terraria for me. Also, is there going to be a discount for Machinarium if we already own it for PS3? If not, then I’ll probably wait until its on sale. At any rate, great Drop this week!

  • you’ll be lucky to get them by 8:00 p.m. est. have u never sat online waiting for a psn store update? just buy a hard copy, dlc games like these are a scam

  • @32 You know Day 1 Digital preorders you can download before the update even hits, right? They go active at midnight, just depends if it’s EST or PST midnight (more likely the latter, though)

  • @32
*12:01am* (sorry it was a typo)

  • why the lack of psp games on the vita store, yes i know you can connect your ps3 to the vita and tranfer games, but shouldint those games be on the store for people that dont have a ps3.sony step your game up im getting tired of waiting for games that should already be there.

  • BioShock: Infinite & Army of Two for me this week :D.

Considering that PS Move fitness game for some reason…

  • Hoping for Terraria on Playstation Plus! It’s been on sale on PC for $2.49 for STEAM’s Indie sale. Let’s give those XBoxers a reason to come over to PLUS by locking down Terraria!

  • Oh weird. I was just thinking about importing PlayStation Move Fitness today. Now, I don’t have to.

  • Glad to see Terraria, Tales of Graces f, and Nobunaga’s Ambition.

  • Awesome digital releases this week. Already own Machinarium on PS3, but totally recommend it for those that haven’t tried it. Specially on the vita – looks sweet.

As for Bioshock, gonna pick up my Ultimate songbird edition on a midnight release tomorrow.

  • @ viceforce:

Thomas was alone is an indie puzzle platformer.

  • @28 We just got The Cave and we got LOTR a few weeks ago. Not getting Okami sucks for anyone who doesn’t have it but I wouldn’t exactly say we’re getting left out here or anything.

  • Solid week, silly Q: Will Bioshock 1, on the Infinite bundle, also have Move support?

  • Yay Terraria! xD

  • Bioshock Bioshock Bioshock

All that is on my mind.

  • @28 VLR alone would make my month.

  • TERRARIA FINALLY, thats a must buy everyone
