  • Been checking the site all day waiting for the update and it was worth the wait! Demon’s Souls!!!

  • Morgan,

Since I already downloaded The Walking Dead Episodes 1 & 2 via the IGC am I going to have any issues purchasing the season pass while it’s on sale?

I ask because I had a similar issue with Closure, after having downloaded it through IGC I liked it so much that I wanted to support the developers by purchasing but I can’t until I let my PS+ expire.

    A-c

  • I’m usually not too negative about these updates but come on, Demon’s Souls? It’s a great game but ffs it came out in 2009! Meanwhile Europe gets Okami HD. Oh well, at least Malicious and Labyrinth Legends looks fun

  • The EU plus is a million times better then ours, there is no denying.

When my subscription is over I will have two options:

    1. subscribe to EU.
    2. leave ps plus for good.

Renewing my us membership is off the table.

  • Another good month, only complaint would be that we got another PSP fighting game after getting Tekken 6. I would like to see some variety there but otherwise looking forward to playing Demon Souls and Zombie Tycoon 2.

  • il get the walking dead season pass for 5 bucks after sony gives me my 10$ credit.. oh wait i dout they will be at 15 by the time they start giving them out. only time will tell.

  • We already have The Cave. Okami HD is a PSN game. LOTR War in the North is terrible at best. Thomas was alone is a whackado indie platformer that most would just complain about. Zero Escape is a choose your own adventure style video game novel with some puzzles. Okay that last one sounds pretty cool, but overall I think our update is quite awesome and would not be pleased with what EU is getting.

  • When are you guys going to let us delete Trophies?

and Demon Souls nice nice finally going to give this a try. :)

  • People you want the EUR PS+ games then get a credit card buy the EUR PS+ and thats it its simple LOL my gosh

  • wow theres a lot of games i am looking forward to play and a rainbow moon sale i have been waiting for that.

  • Gosh… err. I actually wanted to buy Zombie Tycoon II so this may be a bit of a issue for me. Wanted to support Frima Studio but I guess Sony was just one step ahead of me there. The game is free? At launch? Unbelievably good. Thanks PS+ team. The more hands this game gets into the better.

I loved the original zombie tycoon as a minis title on my PSP. Great game, it was a bit short but it was incredible for a small indie game.

The fact that sony greenlit a sequel and is making it free for Plus members is too good to be true.

As for Demon’s Souls, I already own it. I guess I must be a bit casual though because I couldn’t get through the tower knight lol. Only reason why I left the game was because Starhawk launched at the same time I bought the game last year, so I had to prioritize. I may give it another shot again this year, after all it has just been sitting there.

Already played Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, but I will probably toss it on my vita once I get a larger memory card.

  • Any words on Soul Sacrifice digital pre-ordered bonuses? I want to get this digitally! =X

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ Morgan

Can you please explain why this post – the Plus forecast for April – had to be delayed for an unrelated issue? I’m not mad, just seriously curious. I really can’t see the connection between the store being down, and this post going up. Was it all really just an April Fools’ prank you guys were playing on us? C’mon now… ;)

  • not bad. i’m ready to get pissed off at demon’s souls :)

  • Already own Demon’ Soul, Soulcalibur & Rainbow Moon. This is looking more along the lines of the game types I like though. I am excited to try Labyrinth Legends & Malicious though, they look like great games!

  • Demon’s Souls is amazing, but I’ve had it for a while seeing as it is about 4 years old now…

Sadly, this month is probably the worst I’ve encountered as a PS+ member because NOTHING even remotely interests me. I can’t complain that much though, considering there is nothing on EU PS+ that I’d want either. I’ll just stick to playing Disgaea 3 this month.

As a side note, @Morgan, will EDF 2017 Portable be on sale until we get our money back from the March sale? Because I really want to get it at the sale price with my $10 off but if it goes back to $39.99 it isn’t as appealing.

  • Well this is going to hurt the sale of the PS Vita version of Malicious.
With that game coming out free for Plus members, I see no need to spend money on it for Vita.

  • I thought demon souls online part was going to shut down? ( if not what game I’m i thinking that’s like demon souls?)

  • great update ! Thanks !

However, I second the notion of not really wanting psp games without trophy support.

  • smoothboarder540

Not a bad month. I’ve never played Demon’s Souls, so that’s cool. I also like getting a new release free. Getting two games I’ve never even heard of isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But I’m not a fan of yet another fighting game. We literally just got Tekken 6. Morgan, please, please, please stop giving us fighting games.

  • Man I hate when they put out games that I already have, Good selection just I wish I hadn’t bought those games.. I literally bought the soul calibur game a week ago.. sucks.. But the Labyrinth Legends looks cool i dont have that nor do i have zombie tycoon good to get another vita game.
I think since they are having the 90 day free deal I think I’m going to get a years subscription for the europe plus on a new account.. its totally worth it when you get all those free games you wouldnt if you just had american.
ill have to look it up to see if i can do that ive seen people say it in here but ill have to find out if there is any problems in doing so.
i want to get okami and zero escape and motorstorm on the europe psplus

  • Ok let me make one thing clear

We get Demon Souls. Demons Souls Pwnds Over

    Batman AC
    Red Dead Redeption
    Okami HD
    Deus Ex HR
    Mass Effect 3
    Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
    Mortal Kombat

And any game EU got for plus. Y!? Cuz Atlus games are the Best and Atlus doesn’t give a damn about EU

PS and as I’m watching Raw right now. BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD, BELIEVE IN NA PS+

  • Enough with the fighting games! Especially the PSP ones. If you’re gona keep throwing fighting games at us, at least give us some made for Vita.

SF4, Virtua Fighter, Tekken, KoF, and now SC. It’s my least favorite genre and you keep including them in the IGC. Give us something different!

  • Malicious is free for plus but do the regular users have a discount ?

  • @126 – They had nothing worthwhile lined up, were hoping to get in a last minute deal, nothing happened so they tossed a crappy update our way.

  • Any updates coming to the PS Vita as far as PS Plus? the current save upload to cloud could use some improvement and I recently read that the game updating was half baked on PS3 and would be fully realized on PS4… how come it isn’t any better on PS Vita?

  • Awesome month for PS3 owners.

    Horrible month for Vita owners.

    PS3:
-Demon Souls: though most people probably already own this, still a great addition
-Labyrinth Legends: so wish this was on the Vita!
-Malicious: never heard of it, but looks like the right type of PSN title for PS+…something most people probably wouldn’t buy otherwise, but may like once they try it.
-Zombie Tycoon 2: played the demo at GDC, but didn’t quite understand what to do, so can’t really say how it’ll be.

    Vita:
-Zombie Tycoon 2: Cross-Buy/Play titles should NOT count as the big Vita IGC for the month. Very disappointing. Wish we got MGS HD like EU or even Zero Escape. Something Vita-only, not what PS3 gets.
-Soul Calibur Broken Destiny: While Soul Calibur is my favorite fighter franchise, who actually thought it’d be a good idea to give a PSP fighter two months in a row?? (we just got Tekken 6 last month). Yeah, I’ll probably delete Tekken 6 and just play this instead, but still, pretty stupid addition.

  • Hey Morgan I know you are not in charge of what we get for PS+ but could you ask him/her/whoever makes those decision to tell us why Europe’s Updates have more and better Retail games to choice from, from month to month? I know you probably won’t answer this question but I wish you would.

  • I appreciate all the new people to kill in Demon’s Souls but other than a 4 year old game (that if you havent played by now then shame on you) the update is awful yet again.

I do like the occasional discount plus offers but I actually cant wait for it to expire so I stop looking here each month only to be disapointed yet again.

  • Last month was pretty awesome, I’m disappointed about this one though. I was hoping for a dedicated Vita game and not something that doesn’t seem to be interesting. Demon Souls is pretty old by now, rather play Dark Souls. Another PSP fighter when we got one last month….
Guess I’ll just be counting the days until next month.

  • @145 lol agreed

  • Welp there goes the hopes for good Vita titles in April, figures on the month of my birthday there’s nothing to look forward too >.<

  • A really great update, indeed.

  • WHOA most of us are all PS+ Memebers lol :D

  • too much crying about free games. go to the closest game store and start asking them for free games see how far that gets you.

  • overall its not a bad update, demons souls is a good game albeit very very hard. the psn games look decent especially labyrinth legends. the vita game i cant say much about it. the main issue here is when you see what eu ps plus is getting. which in turn makes this update below par.

  • @ well im am more than happy with this month update because i love JRPG games, and i also got a EU+ account so i enjoy both regions games, something you could do instead of whining here! ZenTripleFour

  • Incredible what we get each month for a $50 dollar value. I’ve played Demons’ Souls as some others undoubtedly have but there’s tons of variety here to keep anyone busy for a month’s worth. It’s a shame how picky some people are; thanks for the update!

  • I have to say, I’m looking forward to all the games listed EXCEPT for SOULCALIBUR: Broken Destiny. I too am not thrilled with old PSP games, to be played on my new Vita. Not to sound stuffy or anything, but I had a PSP and if I wanted to play PSP games, I would have kept my PSP. I bought the new PSVita, and if games are going to be offered for the Vita, I’d like to see them be games made for the PSV/PS3, not PSP. Hope that didn’t come off to whiny, I was trying to be constructive.

Also…..glad to see another RPG making it’s way to the PS Plus offerings in the way of Demon’s Souls!! Disgea 3: Absence of Detention, is not really my cup of tea. Too much chaos for my liking, but I’d still prefer to see my least favorite SRPG added to PS+ over any other genre any day. Again, thanks for adding RPG number 2 to the PS+ collection. Here’s me officially casting my request for another RPG of any flavor next month as well. Very pleased overall with the looks of April’s free content.

  • I was just about to buy Demon’s Souls when I noticed this update. Glad I waited! This is going to be a great month :)

    Thanks Sony!!!

  • Yes my prayer has been answered and I will finally be able to play Demons souls this is soooooooooo nice. I am so happy right now I wish you could see the smile on my face at this very moment. Haven’t heard of Labyrinth legends but it might be cool I have to go look at a video of it. Malicious looks decent I might try it out will see. This is by far the best update since I have joined in April 2011 hopefully this will continue with great games like Demons souls.

  • I feel like i love U Morgan ! lol a love this update!! xD

1 Hardcore game and 3 easy mode for ps3 :)

  • Ok I looked up Malicious and Wow. That game looks awesome. Megaman meets Kingdom Hearts meets God of War in some crazy anime boss rush. This looks killer!

  • I spent $50 for a year of Plus. Unless SONY gives me a refund, I wouldn’t dare waste another cent on American PS Plus again if I had the chance.

  • Another lackluster month for the IGC.

  • Great update Morgan. All of these games look fantastic! I’ve never heard of Labyrinth Legends or Malicious, but they both look like great additions to the IGC and I can’t wait to play them!

  • Hopefully this weak list is just a April fools joke..why can’t we get sleeping dogs? Why does EU get more current games and we get bargin bin games?

  • this vita game bs has been going on basically since launch. 1 retail vita game a month or less. its very sad imo. Sony why did you even come out with vita? this is coming from someone who plays vita for least 40+ hours a week and i have played over 70 vita titles, freebies and apps. and every month just makes me sad. i love my vita. but why don’t you?!

  • Europe PS Plus gets:
    3rd April: Okami HD
3rd April: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
    3rd April: The Cave
10th April: Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward
    24th April: Thomas Was Alone

    We get only OLD games.

    Really Disappointed!

  • all i want to say is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
