It’s releasing tomorrow, and PS Plus members will be able to download it free on their PS3 or PS Vita. All I can say is thank goodness the PS4 will be out soon. With all these free games, plus all the great deals I’ve gotten these past 2 years, I have both my 250GB and my 500GB PS3’s filled up. I’m swamped with games I’ve been meaning to play for months. Come this fall I’ll finally have an excuse to pawn all those unplayed games off on my son to finish while I hog the new gen.
What a sale! Too bad I already have most of them. But I’ll be getting Festival of Blood and Portable Ops.
Another week of great sales and great games. What I like about PS+ is that it gives me a chance to get the games that I missed out on before at a discounted price and sometimes even for free.
@350 Why don’t you replace your hard drive with a 1TB hard drive? I got one for $83 bucks free shipping on Amazon. You can back up your current system to an external FAT32 formatted drive, put the 1TB in there and do a restore. I did that and now I have gobs of space. The physical removal and placement of the hard drives is very simple and detailed in Youtube videos.
I hope the PS4 will have support to play games off of externally-connected hard drives or at the very least, hope it comes with a 1TB drive. The newer games are 10-13GB downloads. I can only imagine the PS4 AAA games will be 25-50GB. A PS4 with a 120GB hdd wouldn’t be of any use especially with the push for digital vice physical discs.

Oops, just caught up in reading and saw one other person already announced the tweet about Soul Sacrifice. I hope those bonuses help because I am so stuck trying to kill the harpy in the Avalon pacts. Too hard because the partner, Utheena? sucks compared to Sortiara.
why has there been no mention of Soul Sacrifice? it only says that you get the pre-order bonuses on Twitter. shouldn’t there be an article for the biggest Vita release in the last few months?

@365 yes you do cuz i just bought allstars for ps3 and youll get the ps vita versions for free..im sure the same for sly cooper..crossbuys you get both versions
YOu only get the cross-buy, or the vita version for free, if you purchase the PS3 version of a cross-buy enable game. If you buy the Vita version you will only get the Vita version.
Cheesus H Chrust on a stick. After all the negative consumer feedback last week and previous weeks and this takes all those compaints…and completely validates them. I mean it is a pretty solid sale but that’s the game for this update? I really hope the PS3 players starting getting some more love soon because as much as I like the idea of PS Plus, its been very hard to justify even its meager cost lately and I’m sorry but we can’t all afford to have a Vita in addition to a console system. I would wager that PS3 consoles FAAAAR exceed the number of Vita owners in the US.
A lot of these were great titles, back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

If this selection of games represents some of the best PlayStation now has to offer (I’m assuming off of some responses), I know which system I’ll be going with next gen.
It’s been a long run, shoot, the first console I bought with my own money was the PS1. Sadly, times change and belts pass.
Just going to be honest here. I don’t think these sales are really that great. These are all games that most people already own if they are fans of the series. Most of them have been on sale for less in the past. Sometimes a LOT less, for example lbp karting was 10usd only a couple months ago and now its on “sale” for double that price. Im not saying that the price needs to always be so low but I’m not going to pretend like this sale is anything great either. Its decent and thats it.
Zombie Tycoon was not a very good game. I hope the sequel is completely different.

Now that I have my PS VITA is a must buy the Metal Gear Collection HD and of course the incoming Soul Sacrifice new IP. I hope Soul Sacrifice increase the sales of VITA since is the best demo I played in a looooong time.

The store updates at random times during the day today. There is not a set time. Keep an eye on the blog, you will see a post that says “PlayStation Store update” that is you clue that the store has been updated.
#337 @fuzzfox128 if you downloaded the free version for the IGC you can not buy it later to keep it. I’m not sure why this is the case because I know that a lot of the games I have in the IGC I would love to be able to purchase. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Oh mah gad. Those are some insane sales. I might just have to drop a little on the Devil May Cry HD Collection and the MGS one is tempting so I can have a digital copy.

According to some earlier posts, Gamestop has ads in their stores saying Sleeping Dogs and Pinball Arcade is coming to the IGC. I Dunno.
Morgan also said in an earlier post that we find out May’s monthly outlook next Monday.

And we get all kiddie games for free… I think we need to hire whoever is running the eu game selection and get rid of the one who is doing it here…
I think it is unfair that eu gets all of the good games and we rarely get a good game just kiddie games…

This is ridiculous… I just paid full price for PS All Stars cause I figured it will never be on plus and there you go! 2 weeks later it is half off…. This just sux.
The is lame… Called support and they will only credit you if you buy something with in 7 days! From now on I will buy NOTHING until it is on sale for plus.
The same thing happened to me before. We have to just learn to deal with it. I look at it this way, we get enough free games and deep discounts to make up for the occasional backlash from buying something, just for it to go on sale or even free shortly thereafter.
Yet another terrible week for the IGC. Are we ever going to get something decent? Maybe some of the EU offers?

Anybody know who I can talk to so someone can update Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops so it is available to play on the Vita in North America? I never had a PSP and would actually buy the game if it was available for it. So far it seems Europe can play the game on the Vita while North America can’t. What’s up with that Sony?

DOWNLOAD ALL THE MGS GAMES! Seriously though, having all these MGS games on sales makes up for the total junk the Vita has had this Spring Sale. Kinda wish Peace Walker was the remastered version the PS3 got but I can settle for the regular version. WOOT, long distance high fives all around.

yea tho most would say at first glance that this is an awsome sale..when you really think about it..and in comparison to the love the eu has gotten this year and the total garbage..a free indy title here and there for al of us in the US…every one of these sale titles should be free to us..espially when eu is getting games 5months out for free and we are paying for games some 15yrs old..come on sony wtf im really regreating my playstation plus purchase..and i honestly could not recommend it to anyone..were that was not the case at one time..

yes the games you buy at a discount will be playable..but not the ps+ free games.

Oh on another note. How on earth is Infamous valued higher than Infamous 2? I thought the newer versions are suppose to be higher valued.
I Knew that there wouldn’t be a new month thing yet. I’m waiting til next week as well as for my Blade Wolf DLC for MGR:R.
Still a little hurt this didn’t include any DLC for any games.
