  • Oh wait. I mean #98.

  • Don’t you love the fact that only one of these games is on sale for 75% off where the rest fall in the 30% to 50% off range. False advertisement if you ask me.

  • O I won’t stop there either but you can get most of those games already for about 75% if not cheaper, heck you can get Batman GOTYE for $16 why would I pay you more Sony. IF you can guarantee that my digital purchases will carry over to the PS4 then yes I could see you justifying the price to be a lot more then everywhere else.

  • Is it weird that I have been looking forward to Pinball Arcade more than any other game this month? Yes. Regardless, gimme! :)

  • @ 104

Zen Pinball is vastly superior to this. Don’t get your hopes up.

  • @103 I had bought Batman GOTYE. 3 days later I returned it for a full refund, and spent the money ordering Burnout Paradise. Much better.

  • Am I the only one who thinks the Ultimate Editions are insanely overpriced? With the sales, some of them they might be worth getting, though. I’m considering Max Payne 3. I wish you could just get the basic games at a sale price.

Also, .97 for Men’s Room Mayhem is great. That’s practically giving it away. Germinator looks like it might be fun.

  • Pretty good content update but the “Ultimate Deals’ aren’t really that impressive. I was hoping the fairly new yet ridiculously short Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would have a more appealing price tag.

  • I was just wondering if Persona 4 Arena Ultimate is still region locked and if it it is, would this work on my South American PS3 console even though I have a US PSN account?

  • Kinda not feeling you guys giving us BlazBlue on the last week of May. It’s like you care little for the Vita. Oh well, at least there’s some good deals this week. The Ultimate Edition sales are cool, too.

  • more junk

and the “ultimate deals” (lol) are terrible. can get all those much cheaper at retail stores or Amazon.

  • Any word yet on how PS+ will work with the new console? Will there be PS4 content available, and is my current membership still going to be valid with it? I think I’ve already paid for membership well past “holiday season” so I’m just curious.

Also, am I understanding correctly that none of my current PS+ games will be downloadable/playable on the PS4? That definitely puts a damper on my enthusiasm for the new console. I was ready to pre-order, but now thinking twice.

  • How the hell do overinflated prices that cost more than retail, new, count as being a sale?

Horrid “sale” you got going on here. I expected to see a real sale. Was disappoint.

  • I find myself owning most of the games that come to plus so uhh yeah hope something new happens at E3

  • As usual, no comment about Persona 4 Arena’s region lock. You need to make people aware of this before they buy it and find out they can’t run it on their console. If I recall correctly, even the game description on the PS Store has no mention of this. That’s actually a pretty bad case of false advertising and, while I understand the intentions behind the region lock, there is no excuse for not making people aware of it.

PSA: Persona 4 Arena is locked to CONSOLES of its game region. This version will only work on PS3s bought in NA (maybe Canada too, not too sure). Do NOT buy it if your console is from anywhere else.

  • Where the hell is Hotline Miami!?!?!?!?!

  • It, sucks I just bought my 1 year re-up card a week ago. Figures….. How about next month we get the U.S. access to two full PS3 Games like the good Ol’ Europeans are granted each month?

  • @ Psychosious

Don’t count on it. You will most likely be very disappointed.

  • I am really becoming disappointed wit playstation plus. real waste of money and time lately

  • Glad too see Starhawk getting some love!

Easily one of the most underrated games of 2012!

  • This week’s update is pretty cool! Thanks!
Personally, I think there are too much fighting games on PS Vita.
Here are some games I hope join IGC:
    FIFA Soccer 2013
    LEGO(any in series)
    Resistance
    Michael Jackson
    Rayman

  • please next month bring the following games Sly Cooper Thieves in time, Twisted Metal,Playstation All Stars

    to the IGC to replace

Infamous 2, Rachet and Clank and Little big planet 2

  • is the Gamestop PS Plus thing already used up or does the deal not start until Wednesday (when Gamestop weekly deals start)? Just wondering because where it normally says “Add to Cart” it says “Not Available” and lower on the page it says “While Supplies Last”. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi I bought an R3 PS3 when I was visiting Singapore but my account is R1 will I still be able to pay and play:
    Persona 4 Arena Ultimate Edition
Two months after the ending of the hit RPG Persona 4, a new threat has emerged in Persona 4 Arena!
Total Value of the Game with all DLC (Paid & Free): $59.91
PSN Price: $39.99 ($27.99 for PlayStation Plus members)
Or is it region locked based on my machine?

  • Yu-gi-oh (PSP ver) for PSN Plus ! Plz !

  • how about medal of honor warfighter to be released in the instant game collection sometime soon

  • Will there be an update where Limbo discounted?

  • Where is Velocity Ultra for Vita??????

  • I love Pinball Arcade. Love love love it. Get it and all the DLC, I can’t recommend it enough.

  • PrimeroIncognito

The worst part about Plus: The spoiled whiners it has attracted.

The best part about Plus: Everything else.

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ tifosiotaku

    Me too!

  • Thanks ill be taking that metal gear rising revengance tomorrow.

  • I don’t think The Pinball Arcade is a good choice for a giveaway (and not just because I already own it.).

This is the type of game where if you are a fan of pinball you most likely ALREADY OWN IT.

They should have timed the release if their new Table Pack and given this away for free instead.

  • @112
I’ve been hoping Sony would announce two models of the PS4.
One basic unit for people who just want PS4 software, and a “Legacy Model” for $100-$150 more which will contain the necessary chips to play PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 discs/DLC.

I honestly don’t see why this isn’t a possibility and based on the amount of people who’s first question about the ps4 is “will it play current PS3 software??” I think this would be a great thing.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but it’s really too bad.

Dude, you could say that about ANY game on the IGC. If you like indie puzzle-platformers, you’d most likely already own Knytt Underground and/or The Cave. If you enjoy big-budget sandbox crime sagas, you probably already own Sleeping Dogs. If you fancy sci-fi first-person shooters, you probably already have Vanquish… Etc.

You’re missing the point of Plus.

Think of all the potential new pinball fans that may be generated because of this promotion. You and I didn’t know we loved pinball before we played it, right? You didn’t know that you love pizza before the first time you ate it, right? Many people might be interested, but are probably sitting on the fence, and a promo like this can encourage them to explore their interest and… who knows… perhaps a new pinball wizard may be born. Plus it helps out FarSight… ;)

  • @50 SeteRelos

Already playable on Vita. Use the mobile PS store, purchase it and then select it from your download list on your Vita.
I really get tired of all the complaining on here…no body cares, especially not Sony.

  • @135
Thank you for being one of the few intelligible humans left in this world. Using PS+ as your only source of games is insulting. Support the dam developers if you like them so much. Stop complaining that your $19.99 game is not on PS+ yet…FFS.

  • @124 adamwongtc
When buying a game digitally, it doesn’t matter as long as the DLC is the same region. Thus buying the ultimate edition from a region 1 account will allow you to play all the DLC. I have US and EU PS+, I have no trouble accessing any of the DLC on my EU games when my PSN account is a US region 1 account. So buy it and enjoy!

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ ArchAngelMai

Thanks. I always support the developers. We wouldn’t have our precious hobby without them. :)

I signed up for Plus mostly for the cloud storage. People think I’m crazy. I say they’re just ungrateful for what they have.

The occasional discount is appreciated too, though. Especially when it comes to what I just mentioned above – being “on the fence”. For example, I was on the fence with Papo & Yo, and when it went on sale last week bundled with the soundtrack, I decided to join the ranks of the game’s owners. And I’m glad I did. It’s a little bit short, but I really enjoyed it while it lasted. It features a great emotional story, intertwined with some innovative gameplay elements, and unique environments. And the soundtrack is fantastic. Really glad I took the plunge.

  • @135

Um….I’m intelligent, too…After all, I was defending Sony when we were all complaining about the “endless” fighting games in IGC, when the one offered next week happens to be one of the best fighters of this generation. Hell, it’s even getting an anime series.

There’s only 4 pieces of content that I already owned when they went on IGC – those are Scott Pilgrim, Mega Man 9 and 10 (on Xbox), and BlazBlue Continuum Shift EXTEND (when it was on sale for $12 during the Vita Anniversary sale in February).

I too don’t rely on Plus for all my gaming needs (after all, if I did, then why do I have like 30 games on my Steam account?). However, I’m not interested in most of the Western games that come out now. The only exceptions are Naughty Dog, Halo, GTA, and maybe Beyond: Two Souls. I always look forward (but usually don’t buy for a while lol) to my Japanese games though! Tales of Xillia, I’m talking about you…

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ Tjoeb123

Hey, I never said you weren’t intelligent.

In fact, I recognize your name as being one of the more intelligent posters around here. I read every post. I’ve noticed ya… keep up the good posts. :)

  • @122 Those 3 games came ot recently, the latter 3 came out long time ago. S I doubt they’ll be coming to IGC.

I had bought Sly Cooper Thieves In Time at launch, haven’t played it since.

  • I wish there was a sale on the yugioh 5d game. I still play the demo from time to time.

  • Is Far Cry 3 worth buying on PS3?

  • Where and what is up with Ratchet and Clank FFA?

  • Nothing for me to choose from, but I already have games from previous updates to keep me in.

  • Would love to know if the Gamestop deal is applicable in Canada (I doubt it but it’d be something to entice me to go back onto plus)
Thanks in advance if this gets answered :)
BTW I’m loving the PSN Store on the PC, so much easier to navigate than pre-update and post-update.

  • I wish we could also get Catherine for PS Plus like in Europe :3 I want to play the game but since Europe got it for free I’m hope we do to.

  • DonkeyKongKilla

Pinball seems cool in the info. I’ve always been a fan of pinball whether playing it in the arcade or the old nintendo watching the screen scroll around. Best pinball I ever played was the space one though. Marvel Pinball was alright the only thing about it was that only what 4 characters were unlocked out of them all. I bought some with money on my wallet… Hope this one is good.

  • DonkeyKongKilla

@ RGxRocKSt4R – Personally I’d say FarCry3 is definitely worth the buy. there’s so much you can do in it. with multiplayer and co-op missions. The missions itself doesn’t take long to beat per-say but it’s a good storyline basically you get captive and have to become a warrior and save your friends and kill animals in order to survive. I only have 2 co-op missions left til I get my platinum on it.
