Hooligan i can understand you not liking the game that’s fine… but it looks terrible? really? have you actually played the game as in at all… well i did and i do not mean this to come of as a personal attack, simply trying to say that trolling about a game like FFXIV will get you nowhere and that is because FF has the best and most mature community to my knowledge. In other words keep trolling but at least get the facts straight, A the game looks great as in the graphics look so good people all over the world bought the game when it was first released just for that reason alone… and now with reborn having been literally reborn, the game looks twice as good as far as eye candy goes.

@99

Final Fantasy XI running for 11 years sounds like stagnation.

Keep my highly opinionated ideas and “resentment” to myself? Have you ever been on an internets before?

@101 Agreed it very much sounds like he has never played it, the difference in graphics just between FFXIV version 1.0 and the alpha were enough to make me want to play it but the game-play is amazing, I’ve been playing action mmorpgs for awhile now.

And honestly did not know if i could go back to a non action mmo, but you dont even realise it is a targetting mmo, thats how fluid the game play is, and they keep improving it.

if that was not enough what other game can let you fully max out every class/professions on just one character? that is the main reason final fantasy 14 appeals to me.

and dont forget the moogles, and the graphics dont look as sharp on the PS3 agreed, but they are not far off PC graphics, and i would not be surprised if realm reborn does well to see it on the ps4.

I know you stated in this blog that your working with retailers to get in the Collectors Edition. Do y’all have an estimated day it will be available like at GameStop. Just excited to get it for preorder and not have to worry about paying for shipping. Are y’all also going to release a game pad for it as well for the console?

is it Possible that we can pre-order the PS3 Collectors Edition at GameStop or Only at Square Website?

Where can we pre-order the game and still get the early access and same day shipping/delivery? I ask because I just got off the phone with Amazon and checked their site and they only offer “free” shipping for 5-8 day delivery for the Collector’s Edition. If you want it faster you pay. Meaning if you want it as fast as possible (who doesn’t?) then you end up paying out the backside for overnight shipping. Not a great deal.

So then you’re left with local retailers to pick up same day, but I took a look at a few (Best Buy, GameStop) and neither has the Collector’s Edition available for pre-order so…

What are our options for the Collector’s Edition? It would be stupid to make the standard version “more” accessible to the consumer over the Collector’s Edition. I am happy paying more money for what I get from the Collector’s Edition, but I don’t want to be penalized time wise and miss out on early playing.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

definitely will be buying multiple copies of the game but not buying any CE,LE,SE versions of games anymore .. theres just no incentive because all they do is sell the content later for people who didnt buy it anyway

So are you actually working with retailers? Gamestop, wal mart, best buy, target, k mart. No one has the CE. The only thing i actually want comes with the Ce so no Ce no sell. Gamestop said i can move my pre order to tthe Ce once its in their computer but no clue when thats gonna be and no one will answer back.

So this game is [finally] coming out 1) at the end of a console generation 2) costing $40 on top of 3) a monthly subscription fee with 4) no real details about release on PS4.

I thought the idea was for this game to NOT bury sqenix?

I went to reserve a copy for PS3 about a week ago at Gamestop. They said they don’t know about a CE version of the game. Is this normal and will be available later, or does Gamestop not offer the CE version?

Is the Collectors Edition going to Gamestop? I went to Gamestop to preorder the Collectors but they told me they don’t have it on their registry so i just preordered the normal game. I want the Collectors Edition though.

@107 Amazon prime is the way to go for day one delivery and its free… :D

Which brings me to my next question…whats with all the gamestop this and gamestop that?

@113 Yes this is normal for gamestop to not know anything…

@112 To think this game will bury SE show’s you know nothing of the player base.

1. At the end of a console generation…doesn’t matter because we can play PC too.
2. Actually $40 plus tax. Sounds good to me
3. Subscription fee…let me see here. Yes SE i would like regular updates and can cut back $15 a month on cigs.
4. PS4…Why wait when you can get it on your ps3 you already own? Oh you want better graphics right. Then go play it on your PC and if it comes out for ps4 then buy it for that.

IMHO I would advise you not go get it because I don’t want haters in my LS.

See you all in Eorzea!
