RM_PS3_FOBRemember Me

Neo-Paris, 2084: Personal memories can now be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy and intimacy have been swept away in what appears to be a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. This memory economy gives immense power over society to just a handful of people.

A visionary 3rd person action adventure, Remember Me puts players into the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities have arrested Nilin and wiped her memory clean. After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past leads to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society.

Hey buddy, I’ve got an idea. How about you just let your subscription run out and don’t renew. You’re never going to like Plus, so just cut your losses and move the @#$% on.

PS Plus is $4.17 per month, which breaks down to around 14 cents per day, which is .98 per week… 98 CENTS!!! And you want a AAA title EVERY WEEK? Do you really think it’s going to work out that way?

DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD GET A $60 GAME EVERY WEEK FOR 98 CENTS?!?! REALLY!!!

PlayStation Plus doesn’t suck just because you’re clueless as to how things work! God damn! What a fool!

  • New PSP games <3, need more of those with all the great titles on PSP still coming out in Japan! I hope that since Sword Art Online is apparently being picked up by Toonami it will get popular enough to get the PSP RPG translated here.
More PSP titles are necessary since Vita titles are slim and there are still many AAA titles releasing on it!

  • @Primero (51)
As always, couldn’t have said it better myself, lol.

  • PrimeroIncognito

Here’s another crazy idea… but it just might work…

    BUY THE GAMES YOU WANT!

    WOW!

    I KNOW! I’M A REVOLUTIONARY!

What kind of idiot sits around waiting for the Plus team to read their mind and grant them every single game on their personal wish list? Such a cheapskate!

SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS who make THE GAMES YOU WANT and BUY THEM, fools!

  • DigitalReveller

    @PrimeroIncognito:
Tell that to the EU who have in fact gotten multiple AAA titles every month for the past year while we’ve gotten like four total. ;p

Anyway, I don’t believe we’re entitled to AAA titles every week, but we do pay for an optional service that provides free games as a MAJOR perk and really the only perk they advertise for PS+ so why shouldn’t someone expect worthwhile titles more than once every so many months? Again, I love this service and what I’ve gotten out of it, but as a biggest selling point for PS+ being the IGC a lot of people aren’t interested in what we usually get, especially when their advertisements show off the customer will get quality games every month like Infamous 2, LBP 2, and Ratchet and Clank.

  • @promero chill with the name calling because yu don’t end up banned from ps and buying xbox1 do ya..??

Btw Im shocked no one is drooling over class of hero’s. I wonder how much it going to be. becuase I might be buying it.. also does it work on ps vita?? I see it say psp, but is it possible to play on ps vita..?? Justin. rey ??? some one

  • remember me sounds good, i’m really looking foward to PS+ this month with E3 and all that good stuff

  • smoothboarder540

I don’t know if Capcom knows what they’re doing with Remember Me. I’d never even heard of it before it was up for pre-order last week. I tend to watch gaming sites, so it seems they haven’t really advertised the game at all. I hope they don’t think they’re going to get sales because they put a girl’s butt on the front, not that I’m complaining. I’ll check out how the game does and what it looks like, but it doesn’t seem to have any hype whatsoever.

  • where the hell is Deadly Premonition Director’s Cut DLC??

    is it tomorrow??

    come on!

  • smoothboarder540

Also, I hope Quell Memento is reasonable priced. I have both of the first two Quells and payed a total of $0 for them. I do like them though.

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ mcbuttz

Eh, I know, you’re right. I just had to get it out. I feel better now. Ha ha…

    @ DigitalReveller

Ok dude, first of all, I know it’s not much , but they do pay a little bit more over there than here.

More importantly though, you’re exaggerating those numbers just a bit. “Multiple” in this case is usually 2, and every time someone posts a list of what EU is getting, there are always inexpensive indie games mixed in there too. EVERY TIME. Also, don’t forget that the games delivered through Plus are actually more up to the devs/pubs who hold the rights to the content than it is up to Sony. People yelling at Sony all the time are barking up the wrong tree, like idiots, of course.

  • I’m so psyched about this upcoming E3! I mean literally, there are so many awesome new games coming out this year for PS3 that everyone’s gonna be like DAMN theres a lot of awesome new games coming out this year for the PS3!

And as if that isn’t enough the world gets its first glimpse of what is sure to be the Titan among next gen consoles, the PS4!!! This will surely be an alter where many gamers will sacrifice countless hours. The reason I’ll get to work a little earlier and maybe even leave a tad bit later. And the when it launches, and I finally get to behold it in all its glory I will inevitably lose that job of course.

One small step for games, one giant leap for game-kind!!!

    BOOYAH!

  • PrimeroIncognito

And finally, for the millionth time, peoples’ tastes vary. Not everyone likes what you do, and vice versa.

You may not like what you get, and you should know that before you sign up.

Nobody should be relying on Plus to give them every game they want, but if they do take that gamble, stupidly of course, then they have to live with the potential disappointment that might come with it. But they should direct their frustration at the right people – THEMSELVES – rather than criticizing Sony for not catering to their every whim, as if they’re mind-readers.

    It’s just flat-out asinine. Period.

  • @55, digital- primero makes a lot of sense though. The value of + is tremendous; the other point that’s well made is many users are relying on the IGL a little bit too much. That’s okay as long as you’re not deluding yourself to madness. Sony is listening but let’s not kid ourselves- their selections are partly influenced by 3rd parties.

One matter many gamers are sorely unaware of is that compared to our EU/Asia friends, it’s LICENSING that creates these different releases. Obtaining these licenses are costly, hence no Crash on the US Vita yet. Why dose Asia have those awesome limited ed. consoles or EU + w/ different selections? Licensing, & Sony operates differently in other regions.

  • PrimeroIncognito

OK I’m getting out of here. GRID 2 is calling me back. I want to make some more progress tonight before I go to bed, early… have to go back to work tomorrow. Crap.

  • Sony, can you at least tell us WHY PS1 Crash games haven’t gotten to the Vita store? They’re the most popular PS1 games on PSN! PLEASE PUT THEM ON VITA!!

  • PS1 Crash games on Vita! PLEASE! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! I WILL BUY THEM ALL!

  • @66 TacoCrunch
Actually Crash doesn’t even make into the top 10, Final Fantasy’s, Resident Evil’s, and Castlevania make op the best selling PS1 classics. While Crash is fun, Sony will not make money off obtankng the license for Vita. Most of the people that like it already own it, thus little to no sales would be made by licensing it. Given Sony’s hard hit kn fiscal 2012, I don’t expect a lot of freebies in that area. Complaining here does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

  • @smoothboarder, Remember Me was unveiled at last year’s Gamescom (and was probably the biggest post-E3 reveal). There have been plenty of press behind it, including a variety of trailers, so not sure what gaming sites you frequent, but you may need to find some new additional ones.

  • @56 why would anyone be excited for more overpriced psp games? They are irrelevant now. Sony is actually damaging the Vita more by continuing to support that dead format.

  • Can you please add Parappa the Rapper 2 on PS Store? That’d be great. Read this stuff!

  • Could you guys please just release Suikoden II as a PlayStation classic? I’ve been waiting, checking every single Sunday, since Suikoden 1 came out December 28, 2008. That’s almost five years of checking weekly just to be disappointed. I don’t think I’m asking much and I know I’m not the only one dying to be able to play one of the PS1’s best games.

  • I would like to see these in the US PS+…top 5? 10? All? :D
    1) Red Dead Redemption
    2) Hitman – Absolution
    3) DmC
    4) Max Payne 3
    5) Darksiders 2
    6) Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
    7) ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection
    8) Batman Arkham City
    9) Grand Theft Auto 4 complete
    10) Psychonauts
    11) Limbo
    12) L.A. Noire
    13) Beyond Good and Evil HD
    14) Dark Souls
    15) Metal Gear Solid HD collection

A lot of these games are pretty old and might not make then list. But I’ll be happy when all the current IGC games and gone and new ones put in their place. Hopefully we won’t have to wait a year for E3 ’14 for the IGC to be refreshed. Twice a year would be awesome (we’ve had infamous2, rachet and clank, and LittleBigPlanet for a year now)

  • This isn’t a complaint but LOL the PS2 Classics XDDD cuz we all played those back in the day right? ;p bring on some Star Wars Battlefront and I’ll buy it DAY ONE ;)

  • @54 Good man. I agree. Support these guys. They work extremely hard to bring us great games and in some cases, masterpieces such as Uncharted, The Last Of Us, Dead Space, etc. To be honest, it’s one reason why I prefer to buy my games new. I want to support these guys. They deserve it with all their hard work.

  • Rogue Galaxy

  • Can you guys please put better racing games like Gran turismo 3 and 4, Street Racing Syndicate and Need for speed Underground 1 and 2, instead of racing italiano!! :(

  • Bring Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on the vita, now would be an awesome puzzle game on the go.

  • more like Remember My Ass.

    nice cover art.

  • @73 That won’t happen.

@Lyrick7 If you renew Plus, you regain access to those games you downloaded previously. I had a 3 month before, let it expire and got a year subscription. Was able to get the games I had before.

  • @79 That is the alternate title.

  • I’m lookin forward to Remember Me, got it pre-ordered & i’ll be pickin it up after work on Tuesday, it’ll be my last game I get b4 heading out to LA for E3 ^.^

  • @39 Both Batman Arkham games are one of those not worth continuing to play. I beat both twice, but hadn’t played them since.

  • I must agree with PrimeroIncognito. It is rather unfortunate that people rely on PS+ so they get what they want. If you want something, buy it yourself. Not everyone is going to be happy with your favorite choices. For example, you signed up for a membership at a fast food joint and got a free veggie burger for this month. Is everyone going to be happy with that veggie burger? No, because some people can’t eat beef or they’re vegetarians.

But I just wish people can understand, but nothing in life is free. Deal with it.

  • Back in March, I had 2 choices: A year of Xbox Live Gold or a year of PS Plus. I took the Plus, since it would be a better offer than Gold for entire year.

  • @73 how in the world do you not already own red dead,ICO&SOTC, Batman:AC or Dark Souls already. I pretty much own all the games on your list except Limbo, Psychonauts, DmC and Darksiders 2. The rest of games are so good I just paid for them, and now most of those games you can get new on Blu-ray for 20 bucks a piece. My favorite on your list is the ICO&SOTC collection and Dark Souls.

we can’t expect sony to just give us all the great games for free, especially for a service we pay $5 dollars a month for, tho it would be nice of course if they did give us all of those games so you and everyone else can play them and i can give my blu-ray discs to my little cousin for him to play.

  • and i really recommend you just buy a few of those games as soon as possible cause if you havent played them, you are missing out bro. great list by the way haha.

  • yeah if you’re plus membership expires you can still play your previous IGC games you downloaded once you get back on plus. i did the same thing before i got on auto replenishment.

  • limbo should be a ps plus freebie, btw will paint park plus be free?

  • @44 MisterOrlando

Since for some reason NO ONE decided to clear this up…You can play any game you got free with PS+ as long as you still have PS+, even a year later as long as you still have PS+. If you let PS+ run out, you can’t play those games anymore unless you get PS+ again and then any games you got from it before, you can play again.

  • Asia PS+ only worth $35/year, and they have smaller total of subscribers. Check what they got to offer for IGC. :D

  • Oh, it’s on the “offer” TAB.

  • I want from US PS+ offer free motion controller games to us like
    1. mad dog I & 2
    2. sports champion 1 & 2
    3. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
    4. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
The motion games must be supported

  • @31 little deviants is garbage thats not even worth being free

  • I hope Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward is the free Vita game.

  • ps1 classic gran turismo 1 and or 2

  • @95 that game game is awesome

  • ColdNinjaProLive

    where the playstation plus news?

  • @ColdNinjaProLive

You do realize it’s only 6:40 a.m. on the west coast, right? Don’t expect any Plus update until at least noon or later Eastern time.
