Many of you saw the announcement last Friday of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and LittleBigPlanet: Karting. In addition to those, I’m here to drop some new content and sales for this week’s PlayStation Plus update, which include Machinarium coming free for PS Plus members, and an E3 2013 sale on some of the biggest games available digitally. June 11th PlayStation Plus Update
UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3) Single Player and Free to Play Multiplayer Bundle

Since this is an “E3” sale, does that mean we should expect new titles from the following series:

PS+ is one the best thing Sony brought into our living rooms, I like free games , I like discounts , I like event PSN, though I dislike their Store on PS3, but I use it on PC the browser store this is amazing. One question how long will you support PS+ for PS3 after release of PS4 ? I hope at least until 2017 for PS3! I will be with you forever if you say about 2017 Support for PS3!

I’m one of those weird people that still buys hard copies of things, so when I found out Uncharted 3 was going to be free after, i had recently purchased it on disc I was like “I ain’t even mad”. Now I can go sell my hard copy of it, and then play the digital version once it is available. Seriously Plus is one of the best loyalty programs ever. Just the instant game stuff alone is awesome, than pile on these discounts on top of that, it is amazing. Can’t wait for even more games and even more discounts.

The store updates on Tuesday, usually late afternoon, or early evening. BUT, Saints Row 3 won’t be available til later in the month. Tomorrow Plus users will get U3, LBPK, Machinarium, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Failing to see what any of what you said had to do with what I said….
Quick check tells me I need to have over 80GB of free space to DL Uncharted 3! Yeah, no thanks. I don’t need a solid quarter of my HD taken up by an Uncharted game I can just buy a used physical copy of for 15 dollars anyway (yes, it’s that old). Massive IGC fail, IMO.

Machinarium is mine tomorrow. Its tempting to pick up Playstation all Stars but I feel like it will be ours free in plus down the road. Anyone who doesnt have Sound Shapes should pick it up at that price. It was 7.50 not to long ago and now its down to 3 bucks which is a steal.
I feel like the vita community is not cared about at all. last week i considered selling/trading in my vita. im getting absolutely no value from it (as of games im paying for out of pocket). only saving grace was persona 4 golden, other then that no game has kept my attention beyond 6-8 hours (including soul sacrifice) and as far as plus goes zero’s escape is the only reason why im renewing for +3month. i was gona buy the game regarless last week until i saw it coming to the igc. my point is 6 games for the ps3 and 1 on vita + psp feels like a missed opportunity along with the e3 sales (I have a job! i am willing to spend money! just give me somthing to buy!). sure ps+is an awsome value in its own but seeing ps3 get a tremendous amount to vita getting minimum possible makes me dissapointed on the future of the vita…
I dont own a ps3. Nothing against the ps3, i think its a good system as well, but i am 360 gamer at home and use the vita to fuel my gaming on the long train commute to work every day. not trying to complain just trying to get my voice out there.

All I can think of saying is “Wow!” This is a very awesome drop. And with Saints Row: The Third still to be dropped? (Not to mention Dues Ex: Human Revolution being dropped last week) This is by far the best month ever in PlayStation Plus history!!

The bulk of somewhat recent good free titles for Plus seems more like damage control resort for the upcoming conference.

Hi Morgan, this is my first comment here. Thanks for the updates and for your hard work here.
I have a Vita with a plus account for more than 6 months and i must say i’m really dissapointed with the US plus offerings. All these indie and old psp games don’t really use the console’s true potential. We need some triple A games (free or discount ) and please change the 3 standard games in the plus lineup (Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Wipeout). It’s time for a change or for some price drops, most of the games cost like on the release date and that’s just not fair. Why should we buy any of them from the store when we can get them for so much less on the market and they don’t use the overpriced storage card? It’s E3 and we only get 2 games for the Vita? EU got so much more in the last months…
Can someone please tell me, are PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale and Sound Shapes still cross-buy with the sale? Or is the sale price for one specific platform?

Excellent sales coming, especially for PS+ subscribers. I still can’t decide which ones I want to get just to take advantage over the sale.
E3 sale needs more and better Vita games for sake, and PSP would be nice. Come on guys, let’s see something like Alien Breed, Dead or Alive 5, Ninja Gaiden Simgma 2 Plus, Metal Gear…maybe Vita DLC, like for Gravity Rush?

Really disappointed that Machinarium is PS3 and not Vita… It was kind of intimated that it was going to be for both. Was looking forward to playing it on my Vita while on holiday.

Nothing for Vita, really. I hope you guys reiterate your commitment to the thing at E3 — with it working with the PS4 and whatnot, I sure hope so. The PSP wound up being a really great system after so much relentless support in the face of early mediocre sales… I hope the same happens with Vita.
Don’t forget PS1 Classics on there either. Still hoping I can play FF5 on it already lol
For the all the disappointed Vita owners, remember we are getting Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward later this month. It hasn’t budged at all from its launch price of $39.99 and is very highly rated. It would have been nice to get the Vita version of Machinarium, but the developer probably won’t agree since they just ported it. Sound Shapes is an amazing game – I bought it when it was on sale for $8 and thought it was a steal.
The underlying problem for Vita is that there just haven’t been enough Vita games launching. It does seem to be picking up though. There are currently 11 Vita retail titles available for pre-order (6 Vita only), slated to come out between now and October 31. Hopefully more announcements will be forthcoming soon.

Music Unlimited would be useful if I could like.. Play a game while listening to the music. Sure I can just use my Mp3 player or something, but I want to hear the explosions and death cries of my enemies while playing some fitting music. Can’t The ps3 be updated to allow music playback during a game? ((I know this isn’t the place to ask this, but I hardly post on forums, so yeah.))
