  • lower the 1 day rental prices on psn store for videos. $2.99 for standard definition is crazy considering you can get a Blu ray disk for cheaper at Red Box for the same amount of rental time.

  • Movie Unlimited needs more 3D movies.

The new Oz film is in 3D, but we have no option here to view in 3D.

    I thought Sony was pushing 3D ??

  • HELL. YES. Love seeing the new Sabbath album has been added!

  • 3D is on the decline among the studios. Polls show that people no longer prefer to watch movies in 3D. However, there was a similar poll that said they might be interested if there was no price premium involved. So maybe the studios need to stop seeing it as a cash cow.

  • Thanks TwinDad.

I know where I live (Toronto Canada), 3D does really well for all the big hits in theaters.

As well, seems all the smart tvs now are coming with 3D, so they should support it.

    But I do agree, it’s a bit overpriced…

  • what happened to our free weekly epix rental for PS+ members

  • @gGCAN,

I suspect it’s mostly price. People were excited for something new. They got it, and now that it’s not new, don’t want to pay extra for it, they want it to replace normal costing items.

I had read an article that mentioned most viewers were complaining of 3D feeling tacked on and not being part of the movie.

  • A few questions about my Music Unlimited service:

Why is it that when listening to a channel, it will often skip one or more songs before finding the next song to play?
When I see what was skipped, I want to go back and listen but I can’t.

Why aren’t the Uncharted game soundtracks available on MU when a brand new game like The Last of Us, along with dozens of other soundtracks from older non-Sony exclusive games, are?

When I’m listening to a music channel based on an artist, why am I often subjected to music that has nothing to do with the genre, tone, or tempo of the artist I based the channel on? It’s like the service goes on a random shuffle of the entire MU catalog.

Now that I’ve experienced the benefits of a paid music service, the problems I’m encountering with MU almost make me want to sample other paid services before I commit to renewing for another year.

    • Hi Satnamji – thank you so much for taking the time to send us feedback on your experience. We are constantly taking steps to improve the Music Unlimited service and have sent your feedback on the channel issues to our technical team. As for your question about Uncharted, many soundtracks (game, movie & TV shows alike) have licensing restrictions. We do, however, have many other titles and even feature a Game Music Channel on the service. Check it out here if you haven’t already: https://music.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/channel/22a887dcac1012886a86638e4516b9b8/Game_Music?autoPlay=true. Thanks again for reaching out, let us know if there is anything else we can do.

  • TwinDad.

I agree it’s not for every movie and some are pretty cheesy.

But, there are a few that have been great with 3D…Hobbit, Alice in Wonderland, this new Oz is great in 3D, Avatar, Avengers…etc.

But you know…even the standard movies…they’re not all great..some good, some real B movies.

They’re all pushing 4K now…..only problem, there’s hardly any 4K stuff out there and it’s expensive. (heard 3D is even better on 4K).

  • I’d buy a lot more Video Unlimited movies if it became a part of the UltraViolet consortium. If they joined, it would become my preferred service for streaming video.

  • Don’t forget to mention you’ve added RoadRunner Record as a new premium channel.
    Awesome.
