It’s the same game that was released years ago on PS3. it just wasn’t released on PSN.
For those asking about Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, I think they are exclusive on the other console. They weren’t even included in Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.
We should not love a company and I reserve that word for Grace however, I really like the companies stance for Next-gen and I will be a proud first day buyer of the PS4. That being said, Jak and Daxter collection as good as those games are have been poorly ported to the Vita. With Persona 4 the golden as an example and MGS collection the port of these games are horrendous. Please advise the team who did this to patch or we will not buy the other collections for the Vita if this is the quality of the ports. We have examples of things done right so there are no excuses. Plus, I have only one platinum (sadly) to my credit and that is for the best 3d pure platformer ever made (IMHO) Precursor legacy for the PS3…..

@227 trum3n1 (again) – Even assuming you mean “one update” as in “monthly forecast” (it’s bewildering how many posts from others seemed to think those EU updates were for a single week), we have the same number of actual “full games” (that is, retail releases). Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Saints Row: The Third are both PS3 Full Games, Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward was a retail Vita game, Gods Eater Burst was a retail PSP game (as most were before the Vita was released), and we got the same IGC “evergreen” titles as in EU territories, with only Uncharted 3 holding back on being its full package.
Yes, Sonic 3 was on just about every Sega compilation which included Sonic 1 & 2.
It has been released on both the Wii and Xbox 360, so like usual, PSN was left out.
Sonic and Knuckles is also available on those consoles as well.

I think M2 should redo Sonic 1,2,3, S&K and release them under the Sega Vintage Collection name.

No appologies ? People DID buy it, and are mostly angry… Don’t you think it is a little sensible situation to not have any message ? How about confirmation for a Patch ? How about crossbuy for every regions ? How about possibility to buy seperate games ?
Not good….really not good… Don’t show a clean face at E3 and then give the finger to your loyal customers. Most off us decided to by this collection regardless the critics… the minimum would be to issue appologies for the bad port and correct it ASAP

The original Jak game had the same exact feel when it came to frame rate.. It’s not that bad.
Jak 2 and 3 are smoother. 3, not so much cause of how much GPU it uses.
I’m becoming a fan of the Jak Trilogy from playing these ports..
I’d say they’re good quality. I’ve only played them a little bit on the PS2 and a friend of mine, that has played them on the PS2, said they’re playing better on the Vita so that’s clarification.
Thanks for at least putting games on the Vita. No more complaints from this guy. :) I wanted more 3D platformers.

Wish I had somewhere to put all these ps vita and psp games! Still waiting for PS Vita memory card price drop. Until then, I’m just stacking up the files on my ps3, waiting for the day when I don’t have to transfer out game for game on my 4GB memory card. Come on Sony! Price drop is well overdue!
I know I’m asking late, but does the single-player Uncharted 3 support 3D? In the menu, the option is there, but the only selection is “Off.”
Sony really needs to give an update on the bricked consoles.
It’s like when PSN was hacked all over again. They go silent while their customers are unable to play.
Just a quick update saying they are working on it still and will have a fix on xx/xx/xx at xx:xx would be something at least.
Also, reformatting the hard drives and losing all of our content is NOT a fix.
I realize you have to do this stuff to keep people from pirating software, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of honest PlayStation buyers.

Not only is it the company’s responsibility to have proper quality controls in place to account for these scenarios, but how exactly do you wait for an update unless you have people that execute the update and report issues. So you might want to sit on that sage judgement of people that run the update as they are the ones who allow you to wait.

Why don’t you put news about the 4.45 update that bricked so many ps3 machines? I have not been able to watch my netfilx or play any games this week. you should at least email people to let them know that you are working on a fix, or you should have to replace my machine.
