  • What an awful month.

    • What about it don’t you like? What titles would you prefer? Let us know. The more specific you can get with your feedback, the better we’re equipped to address them. Thanks!

  • happy about dokuru, oddworld and BF3.
Sony needs to take a hard look at the prices on the PSP games. There are a lot in there that are just not worth MSRP anymore.
Also, I still would like to have the ability use the UMD Passport Service to add my 50+ PSP games to the Vita.
Come On Show the Vita Some Love (and perhaps sell a few for those stragglers who have a PSP but not a Vita).

  • excellent!! thank you Morgan!! even if the content isnt something im intersted in, your giving great games out and the discounts are great!!! now come up with the tech so i can give you a hi five via internet because you deserve one!!

  • I think you guys should change Jet Set Radio since it was already free.

  • kamikazetomatoes

Never played Battlefield 3. Hope it’s good, I’d like to try it out.

  • Lots of great games this month for IGC and for the Summer Blast discounts. This month alone just payed for my plus subscription. Thanks

  • so can we get vita games and not psp games

  • I like the sale thats been offered but the psn plus has been lacking lately.

    • How would you want to see PS Plus gets better? Is it the content being offered? What changes would you make to PS Plus that would improve it in your eyes? Telling us it’s lacking is one thing, but offering up ways to make it not lacking in your book would be super helpful. Thanks!

  • @90 i forgot i heard that the new walking dead comes out tomorrow. That seems to be the only thing good this week.

  • will there be a refresh to the Vita evergreen IGC like there was for the PS3? I loved Uncharted and Gravity Rush, and now i’m ready for some other AAA titles in those slots. (Little Big Planet hint hint)

  • I’m also disappointed in Battlefield 3 being the game of the month. Seeing as I bought it last year. But am definitely excited for the summer sale and the rest of the free games. So thank you.

  • Been playing BF3 for 2 years, and the campaign isn’t worth spit. The rest of the titles are trash. Was hoping for a decent AAA single player game. Can’t ya get us some Dragon’s Dogma, Max Payne 3, Dead Space 2, or something. Not trying to come off mean, but your really only giving us the bare bones BF3 right before BF4 comes out.

  • I’m a Sony fanboy but I have to say the Microsoft summer sale game list blows Sony’s list out the water. Remember the goal is to win gamers hearts and minds in preparation for the ps4

  • Wow, great line up, especially Metal Slug. As a new PS+ member AND Vita owner, I couldn’t be happier.

  • ehhh at least i dont have to put the bf3 disc in the console anymore

  • Looks like Morgan looked over my comment it seems. Looks like I won’t get my question answered. :(

  • so can we get real vita games and not psp games. if we wanted psp games we would buy/use our psp

  • I’m not into shooters but I will try BF3, Jet Set looks interesting and the one from Oddworld I played the demo and was pretty meeeh….

In the other hand I will be picking Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Shadow Of The Colossus… and maaaybe The Amazing Spider-Man!!

  • very little love for Vita. Dokuro is a great game, but its closer to a PSN title than retail. How about Unit 13 or MGS HD collection next time? Or the God of War PSP games? Quality matters more than quantity. I would be fine with only 1 retail Vita and 1 PSP game a month if they were always good games.

  • JET SET RADIOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • So much childlike screaming on the Diablo III update about the PS Plus update. Was that necessary? Give it a rest already!

  • bt1234567892010

well, I’m satisfied, great update as usual. I was really hoping that we would get BF3, since I’ve been interested in trying it. but would only do it for cheap, since I primarily wanted the campaign, which is only about 5-6 hours, of course, the multiplayer is better than CoD, so I’d be satisfied with that too. The others seem good too.

  • I mean BF3 is great, but it’s a what, 2 year old game? Still, it’s a very fine addition to the IGC.
Dokuro is amazing, and something that looks worthy of a playthrough, I’ll admit.
Metal Slug XX…well, somehow I just think these PSP games should’ve been given out back in the day when the PSP was still alive, of course, we didn’t have the PS+ then, but hey, it’s a great game nonetheless.
    Abe is great, that’s cool.
JSR…we already had it, yeah, sure it was another system, but still, it wasn’t that long since we had it on the Vita.
I’m not into JSR, for some reason, probably because I didn’t experience it when I was a teen, but I prefer more variety in the IGC.

Overall, 6/10 because of the JSR repetition (again, not hating on the game, but what’s the point, it’s not a game we got a year and a half ago, it’s a game we got like 4-5 months tops), and that PSP games…are, well, PSP games.

Plus no trophy support from them, even though they’re fun.

Still, amazing value for 4/mo, indisputable fact.

  • Long time reader, first time writer. I’ve been constant PS+ member before IGC launched and i’m quite happy with what i usually get. Give my thanks to the team for that. Even though i have BF3 (as many other do) i still think its a big deal being a AAA game and all. I just have one request if you could pass it on to the team as a suggestion: Can we have a repeat of some of the old PSOne games that were once offered free to PS+ offered free again, if only for a week? I am referring to games such as Resident Evil 1,2,3 and Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3. Pretty Please?

    • it’s not likely that we’ll revisit some of the older stuff. not saying it’s impossible, but unlikely, at least anytime soon.

Very aprpeciative of you dropping a note though, and would encourage you to do so if you ever have any other thoughts to share!

  • good games for ps3, but I feel that the psvita was forgotten … do we have some AAA games for vita this year?

  • I have a new idea for Playstation Plus, You’s can take away 1 of the free games a month and add in a free meal with delivery, send us out a Lasagne or a chicken curry or something. How about it Morgan? Will you take this into consideration, Thanks in advance

  • Not at all interested in Battlefield 3. Pretty tired in general of shooting down people with realistic military weaponry. I find it kind of gross at this point.

Looking forward to Dokuro and Munch’s Odyssee though.

  • CrusaderForever

Nice, I am interested in all these games. I have Jet Set Radio on the Vita and it’s great. BF3 is also great and will be fun to play my max level Engineer again. Dokuro looks really good. I cannot wait to try it out. Stellar month Sony, thanks again!

  • Would have really loved Kingdoms of Amalur. Hopefully it’s in the plans fir the future. RPGs get no love at all on Plus, despite the fact that a large contingent of us ask for them on a weekly basis.

  • morgan i would love to see more rpgs (: theres some feedback i hope you see this

  • Why are you giving away free games to these people? That’s just wrong on every level. The only thing you get in return is a bunch of mama boys whining at you. Take away IGC please!

  • Very dissapointed morgan, EU got ps vita amazing titles like Rayman Origins and Unit 13, and we got a psp game and an indie one….. Is there any way to switch my account to EU?

I hope you support vita a little more since people like me dont have a PS3… Anyway, thanks.

  • Oh, well I stand corrected. My apologies, and thanks for the extremely fast reply!

  • Like almost every month, the big retail PS3 game is “M” rated. Sure wish some of the big retail titles included in the collection were “E” or “T” rated other than just the once a year long-term titles.

  • @Morgan Haro

Is the Blog Share still being monitored? I have submitted an idea and has not been approved yet.

i agree but we will not get a answer

  • smoothboarder540

Dang it. A bad month for me. I already have BF3. Jet Set Radio was a horrible choice for Vita owners. I don’t want psp games for my Vita. So that leaves Dokuro and Oddworld. Not the greatest games.

  • In The “Discounts” it says Shadow Of Colussus is 4.00, is that a typo? The Summer sale post said it was 5.00.

  • Hmm, not bad. I never played Battlefield 3, so at least I’ll have something new to try, but perhaps I never played it for a reason…

Jet Set Radio will be fun to revisit after initially playing it on Dreamcast. Not much else to be excited about.

I was really hoping for Dishonored or Guacamelee.

  • Well, a good month. Already have Dokuro, a amazing game I have to say (And a satisfying platinum, for the hunters). Metal Slug XX? Yeah! I really love PSP games. ^^

For the week, I’ll get Mortal Kombat PS Vita and The Lord Of The Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, for that price, is almost a crime not getting these.

Er, Morgan you have any info on Pinball Arcade PS Vita problem? Please say something about this! Thanks!

  • dont understand why people always seem to complain on these things. guess you cant please everyone. not really much for me here but i’ll check out dokura, seems pretty fun. thanks for the updates!

  • I missed the discount of Dokuro when it was on sale. I’m very happy to see that it’s now part of IGC. >8D

And $5 for MK9? Thank you guys!

  • Y’all should have to pay me $17.99 to download and play BF3… just a thought.

  • BF3, not for me. Perhaps I’ll give the other titles a try this month though.

Still would like to see themes & avatars make a comeback sometime. Not that big of a deal, but every so often is better than never.

  • yessssss bf3 and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD plus batman ac going for 5 dollars tomorrow and maby the walking dead 400 days also i am super exited for tomorrow

  • Hey Sony you are great!

Amazing month, Battlefield, Metal Slug, Jet Set Radio and a lot of discounts

    Great Job!

  • Already have Dokuro, as it had a PS+ discount a few months ago.

So all I get is a lame PSP game this month? Even if I didn’t have Dokuro, to get just a small indie and a PSP game…. Ugh, what a disappointment.

Would have much rather gotten Unit 13 like EU did.

  • Something for everyone.

As per my usual question. Any word on NFL avatars? (has not be answered so I keep asking)

Also liking the sales gonna grab Alice.

Another Also? Thanks for keeping up the Vita love. Vita needs love!

  • Holy crap BF3 for FREE.

  • When i saw that EU was getting BF3. I was kinda hoping for Bad Company 2. I got rid of it when BF3 came out and I have been missing it.
