  • I hope sony workers know that they’re only gonna make people resent the vita more than it is.the memory sticks are insanely expensive, the system itself is almost at console price, hardly any games,no love whatsoever.I was thinking about selling my psp to get newer vita games but after seeing such BS I must as well keep it.

  • WOW, 0 JRPG? Not even PSP titles?

  • Please, let us know the july free game of ps plus!!!!

  • btw stop with the fanboy bs you’re only looking at one thing:the PS3 sales.you people are feeding them money I haven’t bought a vita gsme in who knows how long..nothing truly worth it muramasa rebirth looks fun and all but its one of the most over priced 2D games I’ve seen in the past months and its not a vita original sony keeps adding existing titles intoa possibly downgraded vita version.btw stop giving us psp games we don’t ant that bs.why is it that we aren’t being treated fairly?I don’t remember this vita being free.

  • Love the movie discounts good job. Thanks for improving the video service. I can see myself using it more now.

  • Mortal Kombat (PS Vita) – Regular Price: $19.99 Sale Price: $9.99 PlayStation Plus Price: $5.00

Awesome, consider me sold on this one. :)

Note: Tron Evolution is listed as a PS Vita game, but I think only a PS3 version exists… I’d be happy to be wrong though, would definitely buy it on PS Vita too.

  • @ Ragna0088

Some of us here have been long time supporters of Sony. I for one have since the PS1 days. Your rants are totally unheralded and unwarranted here. If you’re so unhappy with the way Sony does things, do yourself and others a huge favor and stop subscribing to Plus and sell your Vita and all your Sony products, and go be a “fanboy” of whatever other system you desire.

  • If there isn’t a similar deal in Europe I will be EXTREMELY annoyed…

  • Where’s the PS plus update?

  • MK Vita and Arkham Asylum for me!

  • The Plus update is quite late today. It’s usually up hours before now.

  • they want us to be a game just to pop it into the IGC..not really but it just looks that way

  • This is a great sale. I can pick up some more Vita games since I just bought Muramasa Rebirth last week. Mortal Kombat for $5, yes please. I heard LEGO Batman 2 was one of the better lego games. How is Silent Hill: Book of Memories?

  • madmaxandrade42

Lots of great games there. I already own much of these (MK9, Scott Pilgrim, Arkham Asylum, LEGO Pirates), and am discussing with a girlfriend about buying Alice.

  • Why don’t you end the vita, seriously. That’s the best you guys can do for the vita for this POS summer sale.

  • @klassymike

If you don’t like the ragna’s comments, ignore them, don’t be such a pompous dbag.

  • Mortal Kombat? For five bucks? I… I think I will finally buy it. I always love Mortal Kombat’s story and characters, but I’m awful at the games themselves. This time, I can justify a purchase to myself.

  • Hitman trilogy for $16…interesting. I just want Injustice’s price to drop to like $20 lol.

  • Please don’t tell me those are the actual Summer Sales for this year.

If not, when do they start?

  • Does ne1 know if, for the Prince of Persia Classics Trilogy…can I install one game at a time, or does it require that I install it as one game (w/o the ability to download each title individually)? Thanks.

  • More Vita please.

  • I have a lot of these games I guess just Hitman Trilogy HD I will be getting

  • @Chuckbait one game at a time I have them you can dl one at a time.

  • Virtua Tennis 4 would’ve been a good Vita title to include since Wimbledon is going on now. No complaints on the Vita titles chosen–I’ll probably get Lego Batman, Mortal Kombat and Silent Hill Vita titles. Thanks!

  • Dang! Just bought Force Unleashed 2. Oh we’ll, such is the burden of being a Playstation fan with such awesome deals around me all the time.

  • PrimeroIncognito

So many losers posting here. It’s a damn shame what has become of our once proud community. The rampant stupidity/selfishness/shortsightedness is like a plague. We’ve been infected.

  • Mortal Kombat is the vanilla version without the DLC, right?

I already own the vanilla version for PS3. Will gladly purchase if this includes the DLC, which I’m sure it does not, right?

  • Would’ve liked to see more discounts on some PS Vita games, but I suppose I can’t complain too much as there’s a few on the list that I’ll be picking up.

  • Battleship! Battleship! Liam Neesons straight kilt a robot boat!

  • yaay, warship gunner 2, thank you, now i can load my 100%save that i have from back when i had a ps2, and do what i love to do, make ridiculus battleships that look kickass

  • now all we’re missing is monster hunter for the ps2 classics list..

  • @blackKaka

A pompous dbag?? Look who’s crying about the Vita releases! You and a slew of others act like the Vita has been around as long as the PS3 and that it has thousands of games for it and they are just giving you the crappy titles for free or discounts. Saying things like “They should just end the Vita” or I’m going to sell my Vita” because Sony isn’t giving you exactly what you want just shows your immaturity. Grow up and stop crying! The Vita is far from dead, and your childish remarks isn’t going to change anything.

  • Does this sale only apply to american accounts?

  • The lack of support for the Vita is disgusting. Yes I’m talking about the sales and what is offered not the system itself…although that is the first thing you think about.

  • @klassymike
Um…2 million sales vs 31 million (3DS). Total lack of ORIGINAL non ported games a crappy proprietary memory card that puts 360’s infamous hardrive to shame and lack of SUPPORT from their company. Seriously my Vita is just DYING for some love but if I do play it is to play classics on it…I really don’t want it to become another PSP but the way Sony now made it “another remote for the PS4” and hasn’t announced ANYTHING good makes me worry.

  • @ MoonageDeath

If it’s any consolation, there are over 80 titles in development for the Vita. That’s according to this weeks Blogcast. So maybe that’s something to look forward to. I can’t see it just becoming a peripheral for the PS4.

  • Is the Scott Pilgrim game worth the $4?

  • So wait, these doesn’t apply for the european ps store, right?

  • Where is it? Tried Vita Store and PC store and found nothing so far :(

  • Normally Id put a witty remark about my wallet being torn up with all these good prices. That is not the case this time. ALL THESE GOOD GAMES AND NOT ENOUGH HARD DRIVE SPACE ;~;

  • Uh, it’s already July 2nd and Batman Arkham Asylum still priced at US$19.99.

  • The store usually updates between 3-5 p.m. Eastern time. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes later. There is no set time for it to update.

  • @237

It’s a beat’-em-up starring the characters from the Scott Pilgrim comic series.

Get it if you like 2D beat’-em-ups, or if you are a fan of the comics.

If you are in doubt look for youtube gameplay videos.

  • man! ppl saying there are no good games in this list are either crazy, don’t know what good games are or just haters who wouldn’t be happy no matter what was on this list.

there are some awesome games on this list! Shadow of The Colossus, Arkham Asylum, Fight Night Champion for $6? COD Black Ops 2? I can see at least 3 games I’ll be picking up for $5-6.

Thanks good way to bring in the summer. & just saw Battlefield 3 is free for PS Plus members! Bring on the summertime!

  • The price isn’t being reflected for plus members. Something is wrong with the website. Says im not a plus member and asking me to pre-order the Ratchet and Clank collection WTF?!?!

  • I’m still wondering when we are going to be able to download Battlefield 3!? Mine PLAYSTATION still has crappy deus ex up!?

  • I see a possible 4 platinum trophies in my future. And for someone who has the ratchet and clank collection it is totally worth it, even if your iffy on the game. If you get it and need help message me.

  • WOW, Huge discounts for PLUS members.

Getting Silent Hill Book of Memories, LEGO Batman for my Vita and Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands.

    Thanks guys!

  • Based on a comment here, gave a look at the Video Unlimited site and saw:

“If you purchase a copy, the video or TV show download will be available infinitely and can be transferred to other enabled devices.”

When did this happen?! Unfortunately, doesn’t seem to have been retroactively applied to past downloaded materials. I’m sure I could get Customer Service to restore them to my account, receipts provided, but I’d’ve thought that would have been complementary.

  • Unless… No, that can be read as “available to play infinitely”, not “available to download infinitely”. I’ll have to dig around more, and if I find that purchased video content can still only be downloaded once, then this is still the most worthless kind of video distribution service.
