It’s pretty fun for what it is, and only 6 bucks, but I wish they would have made the trophies a little more challenging. I had the trophy list at 100% in 3 minutes…
Easiest gold trophies I’ve ever “earned”. Honestly, I’m not proud of them at all.
Could have split up the golds into more bronze and silver and created more goals to reach such as, hitting a 470 ft. home run, hitting 5 home runs in a row, hitting 10 in a row, hitting 30 or more in one round, etc.
As it is now, you get 3 gold trophies just for hitting ONE home run, once to each field (left, center, and right), which, of course, in a Home Run Derby, where the bats are corked and the baseballs are juiced, is extremely easy to do.
Not complaining, I enjoy the game and recommend it to baseball fans who just want to have fun blasting mammoth homers with their favorite slugger, but it dries up quickly with not much else to do after the first 10 minutes. Worth 6 bucks though.
Maybe they can patch in some more achievements later, and maybe a few more players as DLC.
should have a Vita version as well.. the only thing about the AllStar game weekend that i like is the Home Run Derby… debating whether i want to pick this up…
A couple of months ago I was with a friend at Best Buy and we were playing the MLB The Show and doing it’s home run derby part of the demo. I said to him, “I would buy just the home run derby if it were for sale.” See ya on the PlayStation store.

This needs an update asap, you have zero options so you can not adjust the screen size to fit your screen at all, very fun other than that but a half hearted attempt at a game at this point
Why can’t I get gold trophies with the full version of the game I purchased months ago? This seems more like a money grab.
Wheres the truck in center field? This Citi field is just a copy from years past ,not the current 2013 layout. If I want to buy this I want to hit a home run and hit the truck.
