  • I for one am not tired of seeing fighting games for either console. In fact, even more would be great!

  • So many complainers. It’s a funny read. lol. Morgan, in your feedback box, why don’t you add in a new feature to it asking the user to select what genre they would like to see for PS3 and Vita in the next few months, if it’s a PSV game or PSP game they want as-well as a box asking them to type in what game they would like to see to come in the coming months to PS+. Sounds a bit easier to keep track on what the people want and whatever has the most votes appear at the top of the list. Can then work the way down from that list to find something to secure.

  • Just wanted to say that I love seeing another fighting game it’s great and it is a good update thanks

  • You can’t be serious. How can you offer us Hitman Absolution, a game with technical issues that has left hundreds of people (at least) without the posibility of coming to an end, because the saved data gets lost randomly (the same for the Contracts Mode). At the same time, you are supporting the bad behavior of the company in charge of HA, because promissed on their official forum (forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?s=563c38ee688739184931ffe696d27f03&t=131742) to give us a solution but they have done nothing from the released date until now.
I consider this disrespectfull, specially coming from Sony…How is this possible?

  • As a + subscriber, this months Games with Gold offers are better. Hitman Absolution is the worst Hitman game to date and hitman 1 and 2 are both easily better – not this linear nonsense in Absolution.

  • As the guy above said and many people, including myself, have said recently – PS+ needs to evolve to at least include a community vote. Give us some choices on what we get for free and then put the ones that didn’t win on discount.

  • As someone else said, but more accurately, whats with the LACK of PSP games? It’s ridiculous, Sony, you are basically forcing us to buy a Vita if we want to fully enjoy our PS+. There are a lot of good PSP games and there hasnt been one free on + for months. Throw us a bone, those of us who don’t want to drop 200 dollars on a second handheld. PSP games are still more expensive than most console games.

  • The US is getting the leftovers, ugh. Europe’s Playstation Plus lineup is so much better.

  • Morgan, I must apologize for a lot of these whiners on these types of posts. I can’t believe the amount of vitriolic statements being made for what is essentially a superb value-driven service. Sure, you may not always get what you want but that is par for the course when it comes to this type of subscription…for just over $4 a month, there really shouldn’t any complaining whatsoever when it comes to getting free games.

  • 1250 charlimit sucks. btw. still. Normal paragraph text replaced with (..) to keep points.

(..) people (..)said we got better offerings (..)PSN/eu.. (..)I LOL’d.

(..)CONFIRM HA bugs., (..)community mentioned issues (..) PC vs PS3 (..)more fixes/patches for pc version.. (..)publisher efficient, devs not. publisher lacks enforcement. :(

Eu (..) AMAZING update (..)aug. (..)LOTR lego/vita. NBA2k13 free(..)all but us. (..)sony’s fault – all or none–. (..)sony favors other regions otherwise..

Then, Eu is getting NFS most wanted, (..)cheap DLC and mafia 2. (..)+ mistake nba, we get BT runner2? (..)2<1(..)first was innovation.. (..)Tryhards ruined their own game. (..)bought on pc, disappointed.. It's tragic that we get nothing over the nba2k13 debacle. I can't believe nothing was given for the nba2k13 screwup. We all pay for ps+. I just added 150$ to my wallet again tonight hoping, and PRAYING for some decent deals this month. My bad huh? Good thing xillia and dragon crown are coming to the store, or that cash might be sitting there growing dust.

  • yess finally, its funny that i was watching someone play battlefield 3 in june and wanted the badly, and to my surprise it was free for playstation plus in july. And now Hitman Yessss

  • Does anyone know HOW to get an EU account on a US box and still maintain my US subscription as well? I mean, it has a FEW games I like that i haven’t gotten around to playing yet (project zero, gravity rush, uncharted 3), and would prefer to keep it.. Not to mention i have a boatload of digital games..

How does that all work? can’t I just make a second account and set it up with the EU PSN store? or do i have to do something a bit more drastic and actually force a region change somehow to bring up the EU store from the system? A little guide from someone with experience, or a link to a page that you actually know from EXPERIENCE To be accurate, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any info.. I figure might as well get on the EU store while they have NFS most wanted, mafia 2, lego lotr, nba2k13, lost vikings (although i just bought it the other day on the crossbuy.. lol) etc. Looks like I’ll get a better/varied selection from there. I agree with alot of other people here that fighting games are junk, and that some real games would be nice. Even if it’s just discounts, the ps3 exclusive RPGs would be a great place to start. I <3 me some RPG marathons.

  • I was so close to buying all the Rayman games on so many occasions, looks like I have to get them now!

  • why have you deleted so many comments on forums?

  • Just for the record, with a background in marketing, if it IS possible to add one of each store accounts at the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised if sony does this purposely to each region a couple months out of the year, to get people to buy into the accounts on the other regions.. I mean hey, one person paying 35$/3months is twice as much as one person paying 18$/3 months ;P

I’ve seen people say there’s been polls, and numerous posts, and complains.. I mean, I’m not sure what sony’s basis for stats are, but they can’t realistically think that this makes people happy? Are they just basically taking whatever game a publisher offered up that wasn’t selling well and tossing it on there with no consideration for us? I can’t imagine they’re using any real demographics or dominate market trends from a non sale/freebie point of view, to generate stats that suggest this is a positive offering/feature at the moment.

On the macro level PSN and PS+ is amazing, don’t get me wrong, on the micro level with this month / last.. Disappointment abounds, and that’s never healthy or ideal when you’re supposed to be building brand loyalty for a new console.

  • 713@ I was wondering that, too.. But I wouldn’t expect a straight answer.. I’m sure it’ll be something along the lines of spam or not relative, or too long.

I wrote out a good.. 13000 word post the other night, and had to separate it into almost 10 posts just to get my post to actually submit, due to a 1250 char limit.. Every single post was deleted.. :( Really makes me feel undervalued. So now I just summarize things, and insult where i have to instead of actually explaining things properly, and leave half thought out ideas to be misconstrued since no one really cares anyways at 1250 characters.

I mean, that’s enough for a whole 15 lines by standard text formats. Wow. 15 lines. You can address so much in less than a page of text. I mean, that’s why books are constantly one pages long.. AMIRITE? lol. Ohwell. I digress.

  • come sony you still have tons of time to change some of those lame games out,
i am also tiered of those indie type games for the simple fact they are all the same side scrollers
.and in each game all we do is jump and try to solve a puzzle. we can play those games for free on pc.

and stop feeding vita owners psp games. vita has around 100 titles so if we get 2 per month a year thats like 24 games. and i am sure new vita games come out this year and i am sure there are more than 100 titles out now

  • i could have invested this 50$ in 4-5 games, played it, sell it and re-buy new.

  • @thelookey they will never change anything they are so very determined to insult and spit on us every freaken month

either they give us a psp game or an indie game and when they give us a retail game , they gave us a point click one they seriously need to get fired and get another team in there….

  • But, on the comments of new consoles: I personally feel they’re all smoke and mirrors to get us to be happy with something that’ll be replaced in 1/4 to 1/5th the life cycle of the last one. Sure, they’ve developed new stuff for it, but what really? scalable engines, new hardware concepts, ways to interact over the network, FEATURES. The hardware itself, not so impressive.. basically a PC this time around, instead of innovative cell technology or the emotion engine.

Reason? Well, anyone else follow quantum computing? Von neumann architecture? standard von neumann bottlenecking of the logic/stored program system we use forcing data from a stored location to the cpu? All that is going away soon as quantum computing is realized. Thanks to a new class of materials called Topographical Superconductors, a compound called copper doped bismuth selenide, QUbits can be used & watched. Basically, leaves us with the adage “Schrodinger’s cat can stay alive AND dead at the same time!”

Should give us some real quantum computers soon, with optical gateways, and hardware approaching 40ghz procs, memory/ and IO bandwidth closer to 2-3TB/s and amazing jumps in data streaming capabilities.

So, get ready for some fun.

  • This is a nice addition. I purchased this new and it provided a good challenge at points. It didn’t have much staying power for me personally. But a good title in it’s regard.

  • @adrianvon Just select the country for your UE account, search (google) for an address in that country, use your credit card or buy a “PSN prepaid card” with the digital currency for that specific country… That’s all you need to do and you can create and maintain up to 16 accounts in your PS3.

  • Don’t get me wrong – hitman is a great game actually, and if they managed to patch the issues and it’s working GOOD on the ps3 now, I’d be happy to play through it again.. It’s quite fun, and graphically very impressive. The hitman series has always been a fun FPS for me, as it’s not as traditional as military games (boring as hell IMO), after all, I play games for surrealism and fun, not because I want to join the army but I don’t have the balls to carry a gun :D

But, I would definitely recommend hitman to anyone who hasn’t played it yet.. Same with machinarnium – if you by some change haven’t played the pc or ps3 version they gave us recently, get the vita one and play that.. It’s a brilliant little title well built and very unique in visual immersion.

I just wanted to see us get a stronger variance of titles, since last month all we got was a FPS military game, I honestly didn’t think our main ps3 title again would be yet another FPS – good one or not.

  • Otolap
i can not get any of my cards to work on eu store. i tried my bank card and cc and they did not work. do u know a legit website that i could buy a plus card for eu (but not ebay )

  • @Otolap Uggh.. That might be a hassle. I use a bank that despite how many times I tell them every time I run a foreign transaction they keep putting a freeze on my account and making me call them up to which I get asked every time “Did you make a foreign purchase? Because we noticed you live in Seattle.” it’s like.. Seriously? EVERY Time?

So, is there an easy way to get it done with US funds? Like, a us online store that sells EU psn cards? or anything like that? If you can help me find some links and PM them to me, or help me out with that in some way, let me know.. It would be greatly appreciated.

  • Sounds like there’d be quite a market for someone to set up a service selling PS+ cards through bitcoin to foreign people who want access to our store/ vice versa. Someone should make that happen.

  • All right!!!! I love pinball games and i was hoping to get new tables… hohoho!!!! I will ad that… And the Darkstalkers game looks cool too!!! In the past i’ve played all of them, except for just that edition… So… i’m cool with this week selection!!! hehehe!!!

  • i have a online friend that has a game website for uk he hooked me up with a few 3 month uk playstation plus codes but i need a uk credit card to use them because mine did not work. i will try to buy a prepaid card today and see if i can get those to work on the uk store and if it works i will toss one of you guys a uk 3 month code and tell you what prepaid card works

  • Where is a sports game for PS Plus?

  • I’m a foreigner and i buy PSN cards from a secured website. I don’t know if i can put in here the site (probably not).

Look on google man!, look for psn cards or something… plus i will add a tip for you, the word “maximus”… search and you will find.

PD: It works, since i got my firs PS3 many years ago i’ve used that service…

  • I will say it again, they actively give the games people dont want, they made a poll about what to give, a genre won, and guess what we have not gotten for plus?, exactly the genre that won. And probably will not get it, cuz they know we want that. Its the only explanation I can come up with.

  • where is the Hitman Absolution game guys? i check the pss and is not there yet. its already 8/62013

  • So many great games, such a great value. Im having a hard time playing my purchased games and keeping up to the ps plus games. Mind=blown

  • Lookey you dont need the cc, you only need a ue account with data from eu, address and stuff, and you can buy psn cards with your cc on amazon uk.

  • Kind of wish my PS+ would run out in a week so I could hold off until September or October to see if it’s worth re-subscribing.

Not much for me this month, it’s not the end of the world but if September is another weak month as I suspect it will be I’ll be pretty disappointed.

Any particular reason a title isn’t offered more than once for the IGC?

  • thanks 733 i love amazon and i trust them so yea i will try your method

  • I knew Hitman was going to be launched! Now I bet Tomb Raider is possibly next.

I don’t play indie nor have a PS Vita, so Hitman is the only game for me this month.

Though I wish we see more full PS3 games like PS EU.

  • That works my only mistake was doing it for us and not on europe, I did not know at the time plus was so bad for america.

  • If you have a ps plus eu. Code to spare let me know.

  • well this month didn’t bring anything for me, but hey, the last 2 months were awesome, thanks a lot guys! I’m still enjoying Gods Eater, Little big planet karting and Battlefield 3!

  • Get hype. Time to play one of the Top assassin in the company.

  • What time do the new titles usually come out? I’ve been looking on PS+ for a couple hours now and still no hitman.

  • where’s the jrpg love ? already have hitman so no excitement for me

  • Notice any typo? :P

Entering PS Plus in August (in no particular order)
Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PS Vita, Compatible with PS Vita)

Pretty sure it’s suppose to be (PSP, Compatible with PS Vita)

  • Where is NFS Most Waned????

    Lucky Europe…

  • thelookey6@ that’s mighty generous of you to offer that :) Reminds me of myself giving stuff away sometimes. Go ahead and pass it to someone who needs it/can’t afford it.. I’m not really hurting for money at the moment, so I can afford to pick one of these up myself, once I figure out the means to do so.. However, if someone who LIVES in the uk/eu wants to buy codes and exchange with me for something in the US that you are having trouble getting, let me know. We can work something out no problem :D

I’m a firm believer in community solutions to problems. I think we can figure this one out and make it an easy fix once I find the right person who’s willing to trade with me or help me figure out exactly how to go about buying PSN cards / registering them for EU with a US credit card that hates me making foreign purchases.

  • @thelookey6 / @adrianvon legit site: amazon uk but you have to pay for shipping or some “trusted” sites: maximucards and cardscodes, I’ve used all of them in the past with excellent results.

If you have Paypal (EEUU) might work on a European account, you could give it a try.

  • These people have no right to complain. At least you are getting good games every month for $10 less than Xbox live.

  • I saved off from buying Hitman, now I can finally try it for free. Love Playstation Plus!

  • PART 1

Can Morgan actually answer some questions? There’s 15 pages so far of people talking & I barely see any moderator work getting done. You guys should make a compromise & give fans NFS: Most Wanted & Spec Ops: The Line. Stop this “Dual” thing with Europe, just make it all the same that way nobody can complain & you can focus your efforts better.

ALSO why does Europe get informed of their PLUS rewards like 2 weeks or more before they drop? Why do we wait literally until the day before? Also why are games released throughout the month? They should just be dropped all at the same time. What if somebody really wants the last game on the list but they need to wait almost a month until it drops?

    That doesn’t make any sense.

Release everything at once, make the service like Europe’s & inform people at least a week in advance, not this “day before” BS you guys are doing. PSN+ is great but it’s not perfect. It’s clearly obvious that SONY is capable of making everybody happy so when people ask for certain games & you give them things it seems less than 1/4 of the customer base want that’s a problem.
