  • mannn where are the RPG???
its a waste of time to be a US SUBSCRIBERS!!!
    europe rocks!
we have always the update too late and just a week preview, not a month preview of new games!
give us the month news man!!
just hitman worth, the rest sucks

  • Hitman is cool but still not enough for me to resubscribe, just one more day until Dragons Crown, nothing else matters

  • Decent stuff, needs more RPGs, but we gotta bug XSEED for discounts/IGC participation(Ys is out on Vita later this year).

General message to the masses, “aside” from Mafia 2 and NFS, we got a better deal with the discounts in the past month/next week.
Stop crying demanding titles, Hitman was overrated.
Yes, you were all screaming for it last month, so go easy with the envy please.

You can never get enough Machinarium, thanks for the Vita version.

  • I only have a Vita, so I was already on the fence about getting a subscription for something I only reap half the benefits for. After this update though, I have serious doubts about renewing. I don’t even like fighting games and that’s what keeps getting offered. If possible, can you not put anything on the IGC for a month then promise a great update the following month? I’d even settle for that at this point because it doesn’t seem like the community’s input is being considered.

In any case, can someone tell me why the U.S. PS+ is better than EU’s? Some people must feel this way since they’re subscribed to the US version so I would like more insight into the situation considering many people are talking about converting to EU.

  • Can we stop getting the games EU has already gotten. It’s not much of a surprise for us NA members . . .
What are we gonna get next week NFS?

Bring in some new and better content. No PSP games, they have no trophies, why should I play them over the games that do have trophies (why not Blazeblue?). Lessen up the indie titles, we have been getting a whole lot of that lately. You guys have no RPGs or what?

Thank god, I am getting Tales of Xillia and Dragon’s Crown tomorrow and Saint’s Row IV on the 20th to get me through this month because the update failed to do so.

Might get SuperFrog, but thats about it and still I have to spend more money then the 50$ I payed for plus.

Sold Hitman, will download to finish it off.

  • Another fighter? Seriously? This is some kind of joke right. This has been a pretty lackluster year for the IGC.

Not only do you treat this service like a joke, but you still can’t do regular updates to your online store despite the fact that Nintendo is able to. I mean come on, this is Nintendo. They’re practically allergic to the internet and they still do online stores better than you.

It just seems you’re trying to push me away from purchasing a PS4. I mean the machine looks great, but Sony as a company and service provider don’t seem to know what they’re doing.

  • I suspect EU got more PS+ subscribers over NA. Bigger budget, bigger IGC.
People! We need to convert more XBL subscibers to NA PS+.
Marketing by the people for the people! XD
JK. Well not really. Wait, yeah. I mean, …oh, nevermind.

  • @246 – Red Dead Redemption was never on NA Plus

  • Like I said in my earlier post, I am very, very happy to get Runner 2, Machinarium, and Star Wars Pinball. That’s a great month by itself for me. But I do have to admit that another PSP Fighter is a bit silly. What an awful genre.

  • The PlayStation team in charge of this digital distribution doesn’t care about what we say as we been voicing our opinions for a long time and still nothing happens even though sometimes we have good months and sometimes we have bad months of plus I’m glad I’m getting a Ps4 so the community you’ll be smaller and I’ll have to start paying attention

  • You know how sad it is for the US that the UK is getting three full titles this month granted we’ve had one on PlayStation plus before but no matter they’re still getting three full games compared to our one it’s time for the PSN team to step it up or for some of them to start getting fired

  • This is awesome, thanks!

  • expected better games and not past games of Plus Eu as Hitman, I thought we would have NFS or DMC, now better renew my Plus Eu
    “Nothing For Me This Month”

  • Niice!! I really wanted to play the new Hitman!! Can’t wait to try it out!

PS: Ideas for the next ones: Metal Gear Rising, The FFX remake, Walking Dead 400 days, Dishonored, Infamous (the 1st one), The Last of Us (we can dream right?), Oblivion, L.A. Noire, ^_^

  • “Nothing For Me This Month”

  • Guess I need to move my PS+ over to Europa

  • are u kidding me???? the vita content sucks another psp game? atleast u could have given given us god of war for psp. WTF. screw this. i waited all this time hoping to get a good update man this sucks

  • the sad thing is that the ps+ update has not went live yet so sony still has time to make this right but i doubt they will for the simple fact they already have our money. they have tons of time to throw at least 1 more full vita game(not indie or psp game) and 1 more full ps3 game. they can take all the other garbage back besides hit man.

and i will not even be downloading hit man because i beat it already but it is still a great game so leave that 1 and take the other garbage back
    .

  • Sick update.

  • What a great month for PS+!!!! Hitman is the S**t!!!! Definitely one of my favorite game series of all time :]

Cant thank you guys enough :)

  • PS+ NA is a joke

  • Looks like a good month. Only one I’m not interested in is the Bit.Trip game, but I’ll still give it a go. I bought Hitman on PC and still haven’t played it. Oh well, glad to have it here.

And I’m a proponent of PSP games on Plus, but man is my Vita full of fighting games. I like it, and Darkstalkers will be a great addition, but might want to lay off the fighting genre for a bit.

  • >:[

We ´ll Try one more time…

SONY… STOP PUTTING IN THIS PSN STORE PORTS FOR VITA!… WE WANT EXCLUSIVE PS VITA GAMES

    >>>>>>> EXCLUSIVE PS VITA GAMES

EXCLUSIVE means: No ports from PC, No ports from PSP, No ports from Android, No ports from IOS, No ports from ANY OTHER device…

EXCLUSIVE PS VITA GAMES means: DEVELOPED ONLY FOR PS VITA…

    PS VITA GAMES!

    >:[

    >:[

  • Yeah, finally Hitman Aboslution :D…. now, add NFS or Mafia 2 and i will be happy :)

  • WOW very nice, we got Hitman!!!!

    I really love it.

Thanks for discount on Rayman Origins ^ ^ ill get it.

  • I won’t lie, I’m disappointed.
Another pinball game is ridiculous. We aren’t in 1980.
I was interested in NFSMW way more than another pinball game or another psn game.

That being said PS+ is still a good deal.
It’s just that the last 2 months have been pretty average (especially compared to Europe).

  • oh and EU got NBA 2013 for free

  • Thanks for the early update Morgan. No luck with getting a rpg into the IGC huh? Guess I’ll suck it up and buy the season pass for Borderlands 2 since that sale doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. At least next week is Ducktales!

  • Awesome! Thankyou Sony for Hitman:Absolution on IGC. Fighting games play beautifully on the Vita and I love the collection I have, so thank you for Darkstalkers as well.

  • I don’t know what the haters are complaining about — every one of the games being offered for August is excellent.

Hitman: Absolution — A great follow-up to an already stellar series, and includes the DLC. Excellent.

Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien — One of the best platform runners ever made, with excellent music.

Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball — I have yet to play a Zen Pinball table that I haven’t loved. Whereas Pinball Arcade is about realism, Zen Pinball is about extending the experience. Both are great, and those Star Wars tables sure do look like fun.

Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower — One of the PSP’s best launch titles, and it still holds up quite well (especially as a digital title, since it eradicates the loading times from the UMD version).

Machinarium Vita — Way, WAY better on a portable device with a touchscreen than on the PS3 console. And, I should add, one of the best indie games available on PSN, hands down.

What’s not to like, folks? Isn’t the Instant Game Collection supposed to be about great games? I’d say they delivered this month!

  • High five everybody. Even the complaining Vita only owners!

  • Did anyone “purchase”/download Quantum Conundrum in November when it was free with Plus? If so, is it still in your download list? I know of a few people, including myself, who noticed it has disappeared from download lists, and is asking to be purchased again for $14.99 in the store.

I was wondering if someone from Sony would be able to look into this. No one can help me through email support and I haven’t been able to call in yet. I’m not sure what the specific problem is with that game, but I would consider it a major issue with the Plus service if games are being taken off our download lists while we’re being promised otherwise.

    Thanks.

  • Hitman good. Bit.trip. good.
Once again, we have a solid PS3 line up and absolute garbage for the VITA.
Pinball? Really? We already have a pinball game.
Darkstalkers? What is this, the 4th or 5th fighting game this year?
Machinarium we got for the ps3. Kinda cheap to make it free separately instead of making it the cross buy version the first time. You already had the licenses.

This is frustratingly bad. Giving us games we already have or don’t want. Bit.Trip could have been cross buy( i think there’s a VITA version out.) Machinarium could have been Guacamelee or LIMBO. Darkstalkers could have been Monster Hunter or God of War. If you insist on giving us PSP games, at least make them PSP games worth downloading.

Come on, Sony. VITA needs love too. I purchased your handheld despite the obvious lack of first party games and poor support from third party devs. I believed in it. Prove me right.

  • I’ve been in luck with the IGC games lately. Many of them are games I had not picked up, such as Saints Row 3, Battlefield 3, XCom, and now Hitman.

  • I guess these are nice adds, but I either don’t care (Hitman, Runner 2, Darkstalkers, Machinarium) or I already own them (SW: Pinball, Machinarium on PS3). I guess I can download Machinarium on Vita for the easy trophies, but otherwise, really slow month for me.

Echoing others, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, stop with the fighting games. I don’t care if they’re PS3, Vita or PSP, just STOP. Enough already. Anything else is preferable.

I don’t have a wishlist of games I’m too cheap to buy… I just like to be surprised. This month is not very surprising. And I hate when you try to copy EU, as all these other whiners seem to want you to do, cause I don’t care what they get, and I usually don’t want it either.

Not a fan of Rayman, so this first week is a total bust for me. But I guess that’s a good thing, as it’ll allow me to focus on the games I’m spending money on, rather than games I’m too cheap to really help support. Maybe there’ll be more interesting discounts later.

  • PS Plus Asia gets better but US getting worse?

I hope you guys are preparing something great in the coming months towards PS4 release. =)

  • @TinCannEd, RDR was never in the IGC. I don’t know what you’re smoking.

  • Conspicuous that a certain Community Manger is completely absent this thread when usually he’s all up in it the first few hours

  • 1- Morgan and team, you will NEVER please everyone on PS+. EVER !!!!
2-Great job you and your team are doing over there, this month looks awesome.
    3- All bases covered, “1 full Retail game/ 1 PSN game/ 2 Ps Vita game/ 1 PsP game/ various discounts.
4- Keep up the good work team.
    5- Keep on Gaming.

  • Seriously… uk gets all the good games and we get crap! Getting real tired of this.

  • anxiously awaiting nfs most wanted ps2 classic and simpsons hit and run ps2 classic.

  • Wow, why is everybody so mad? Did I miss something? Did the haters tell their friends to come over to the PSblog and have a “Hate on PSPlus campaign that I missed or something? All this hate is sad. Don’t like what Plus is giving you, go out and BUY the games you want. This is a lot of value for 50 bucks a year.

    You spoiled brats.

  • Hitman Absolution (PS3), Bit.Trip Presents Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (PS3), Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars Pinball (PS3 – PS Vita Cross Buy), Machinarium (PS Vita) and the sales, what a great month ty ps+ team your all doing great. and don’t stop with them psp games plz live them.

  • Gonna be downloading Hitman and Machinarium as they are brought to the store. Thanks, and at least try to keep up the half-decent job.

  • …Really? Another month full of nothing worth the time. Was hoping it’d at least be a parity of the EU content but far from it.

Stop with the cheap content for Vita in particular. While other places are getting Lego Lord of the Rings and got content like Unit 13 we’re getting this crap.

And FYI: You should’ve dropped the PSP content like people have been asking for and got better content like say… The Killzone Mercenary beta? Ya know, a huge game coming to the Vita that so far has been handled poorly with beta invites going out to non-Vita owners?

I suspect it’s only going to get worse when PS4 releases… I hate saying that but this is just getting sad.

  • + tbx59
well a few positive comments just popped up on this page so he will comment on those

  • @secularsage #276: Do you work for Sony?…I sorta get the feeling that you work for Sony.

  • I was be super excited if I hadn’t bought Hitman when it originally came out. Besides that, none of the other titles are of interest to me. Too bad, this is definitely one of the more disappointing months for me, but at least the new Splinter Cell comes out this month.

  • my plus is expiring in a few days so i dont think ill renew this month.i know it may be hard to get third party games to make it to the vita but you have a lot of first party games.

  • Hitman absolution free? yes please. Been wanting to play this one for awhile
