Here’s the thing that confuses me the most…I’ve been using my PS3 as my main movie/music/game player, as well as my main internet browser for a time…you know, using it as it was later billed (“It Only Does Everything”). So why JUST NOW, FINALLY are they giving us more visualizers? The ones that shipped with the console from Q-Entertainment (bless Dylan’s little heart) are good, don’t get me wrong, but there are exactly TWO, plus the wave PSN thing. TWO! And now that the PS3 is entering its run-down phase, they just now determine that it’s the right time to give us more visualizers?!?!?!

134

+ Iteration7294531 on August 13th, 2013 at 5:42 pm said:

(continued)

I’d have made much, much use out of these for the past five plus years, but now with the PS4 on the horizon, it almost seems too little, too late. I mean, I’ll buy them anyway, but I really don’t use my console for listening to music like I did 4 years ago (mainly because I jumped on the Music Unlimited deal for a year for $12). This just seems really short-sighted to release them now.

I mean, seriously, almost every time I do load up a CD or listen to music on my HDD, I think, “I wonder if they’re ever going to come out with new visualizers?” This eventually transitioned into, “Welp, it’s too late for them to come out with new visualizers now,” so I kinda just gave up on that hope. Glad you proved me wrong, but as it is right now, I’ll check them out, but will really get next to no use from them.

@ Ryumaou,

If NA is so embarrassing, then go join up with EU.

Oh wait, that would actually make sense, so of course someone like you wouldn’t do the logical thing.

Good thing there’s fans like us who actually pay for something they want instead of just saying, “Oh I’ll just wait for it to be on PS+.” People like you give Sony console fans a bad name.

I mean who else else b**** about ever little thing each week? Its pathetic. You are in your twenties, how about you act like it.

Actually, people like him give HUMANITY a bad name, not just PlayStation fans. The guy is an embarrassment to mankind, period.

The vibration I get from him is so intensely wretched that it makes me feel dirty on the inside just by being exposed to it. And I can’t wash it off either. He’s like an infection. I wish he would just disappear…

But anyway, this is a solid update. I’ve already pre-ordered DuckTales so I’ll be downloading that ASAP. I’ll try those demos too. Lots of good stuff all around. Plenty of variety for everyone (at least everyone who’s not an ungrateful jackass).

Thanks Store Team! And thank you developers who work hard to bring us all this awesome content!

A rare moment of me commenting about commenters, I’m still bass-ackwards on the hate against Ryumoau. At least any b****ing is about the condition of a service rather than its users, as is the modus operandi of Ryu’s primary detractor, PrimeroIncognito (spelled that right?). I’d rather vocal criticism of an impersonal system than persistent bashing of fellow users.

Oh, heh, well, there’s my target just above me. Glad I spelled that name right. (And I know, you’re generally blunt against overblown complaints, and you are positive toward things Sony and its users do well, but it’s just as much noise to my mind’s ear.)

Sony. Seriously. How long you think you can ignore this request? And this is only one of many other requests for PSOne and PSP games on PSVita’s store. Come on, make both sides happy. Otherwise people just won’t stop asking you. And you know that better than me. Please, LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

I already explained this to you months ago. Did you not read it?

I remember… Sorta? My memory’s terrible, but you were very in-depth. It just still feels like there’s too much name calling and personal jabs from so many folks, and I’m still at ends when you do it, since you’re well-composed in typing, and I’ve not picked up on Ryumoau being particularly problematic to read. I guess it comes down to you two being frequent posters that I’ve built takes on you two that don’t seem to mesh with the posted consensus.

Very tangentially, Ryu’s avatar rotates withing NISA properties, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen you out of that Rush avi. Ever use any others?
