Check out what’s new on the Music Unlimited service this week! Read the highlights and browse new albums & singles below.

Highlights

  • The 4th album from Luke Bryan, one of Country music’s most notorious party animals, who was seen performing last night on ABC during CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock.
  • The debut album from Aubrey O’Day of former “Making the Band” group Danity Kane, who has kept herself busy in the meantime by starring in her own reality show, All About Aubrey.
  • The latest from ambient indie artist Washed Out. You may recognize his hit, “Feel it All Around,” as the theme song from IFC’s Portlandia.
  • A battle of the divas with new singles from both Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, sure to be major topics leading up to the release of their albums in the fall.

question for Matt Shadows:

is there any intentions on bonus/deluxe versions of the new album, and also, what’s the possibility of gettting it on vinyl? already have City of Evil, Avenged Sevenfold (self-titled) and Nightmare on vinyl, adding another to my collection would be awesome

Is this the place to log requests for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals?

And for Mr. Shadows: What would you say has contributed to your music evolving over the years, becoming more lyrically and thematically potent?
