Hatsune Miku - Project DIVA F on PS3

At long last, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F is here! The game is in stores now, and will be available on the North American PlayStation Store later today. We’ve put together a new trailer, seen above, to celebrate the launch of the game. It features some amazing songs, and a look at both the “Miku Room” and “Edit Mode” features in the game.

In the “Miku Room”, you can interact with your favorite characters and fully customize their room with special themes, furniture, and more. You can also buy them gifts using your DIVA Points, and each will trigger a special event!

“Edit Mode” lets you create your very own Rhythm videos with any song you own. The possibilities are almost limitless, and your creativity will let you build the ultimate music video featuring your favorite music. You can upload your creations online to share with your friends and the world — we can’t wait to see the amazing videos you’re going to create!

A long time ago, we asked you on Facebook if you would support Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F. Your responses were overwhelming, and your voices combined into a song that paved the way for Miku’s first console game in the West. It’s because of you we’ve arrived here today, celebrating the release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F on PS3. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you all so much!

I had this game pre-ordered and got it day 1 early from my local gamestop because I want to support the international release. I have the japanese PS3 version (because there was no official announcement at the time of an NA release) but I was really surprised to see the game was making its way to NA/EU considering how we didn’t get the other games in the series.

I hope the game’s sequel F 2nd (as I call it) gets localized though sales seem strong for the game right now if that’s any indication. Thank You SEGA for taking a chance and localizing the game and I’d definitely support a Vita release in the future.

I’d like to extend my most sincere gratitude to you guys at Sega. I would have never experienced this amazing game if it hadn’t been localized. I also probably would have never listened to Hatsune Miku before I heard about this game. Now that I have it, I can’t stop playing it. The music, gameplay, EVERYTHING is perfect! I hope it does well enough that you guys will consider bringing the Vita and 3DS games over here. I’m sure Miku fans everywhere want their chance to play these fantastic titles.

I have been a Vocaloid fan for a few years now, but didn’t even know there were actually games for it til’ recently. I was just scrolling through the demo section when I suddenly stumbled upon a Demo for Project Diva F. I fell in gaming love. I’m a BIG music guy, I’m only 15 but I plan on going into music and possibly trying to actually join the Vocaloid industry. This game was addicting, fun, and made me start to dance while timing the buttons. It’s something magical that I’ve only experienced when in a deep concentration of a fighting game (You know, when you’re playing your heart out against a friend and you just HAVE to win) like in Super smash brothers, or when you’re actually on the dance floor trying to win the hearts of your captive audience. It’s an amazing feeling when you know a video game you’re gonna own can do that to you!!

I want to buy it, but my family thinks It’s too ‘girly’ for me, which is understandable with all the fashion choices and the boys wearing nail polish and such…. But a games a game and I want it SO badly!!!!!!!!!!! By god I MUST have it!!!!!!!!

In EU, will the DLC be available on the PSN any time soon, or do we have to buy it from the NA PSN when it is released?

I went to three stores today looking for this and I was unable to find a copy anywhere. If I can’t find one within a week or so I guess I’ll have to get one off of amazon.

I love Miku but unfortunately I don’t own a PS3 – would love to play this game on Vita someday. Thanks for bringing it to the West, though.
