Great update. Been looking forward to playing RE Chronicles. Those who are complaining, I’m sure it’s not sony’s fault; I’m pretty sure sony has to strike deals with publisher. Maybe Ubisoft doesn’t want them giving ACIII for free to both regions at the same time. We’ll probably get it eventually, like Sleeping Dogs.

I’m happy with PS + i get games for free every month and i get great discounts on games. I subscribed to XBL for 8 years and never got great game’s for free, i never got good discounts and if there was a discount it was always something i didn’t want. I’ve gotten more for my money on PS + in 2 years than i got out of XBL in 8 years. Thanks PSN ,I’m not mad at u, i bet u will have cool stuff this month. The first week is a little light every month, but it doesn’t stay this way all month.
The $50.00 a year isn’t the problem, it’s the huge disparity between the regions that is the problem. I honestly agree that Plus is a great deal, BUT they should at least try to make it close to what the other regions are getting with the same amount of bigger titles. Just my honest opinion.

When streaming becomes available id toatly pay $65 – 70 for PS+ platinum just make it upgradeable for current subscribers. Unless u guys r going to make it available to all PS + subscribers. I hope its not like $15 a month, then id have to pick between services and i cant afford both.
As I’m getting PS4 and it requires plus to play online and I’m sure many of us do play online.now were forced to B + members. so of course we should have the right to complain if we don’t like what we’re getting in the service! And I feel that the people that are mostly happy with plus are people that don’t buy games because they’re always happy with what ever game they give them :-/
Ni No Kuni has been on sale twice in the EU region this year I mean 50% off or more plus some other great rpgs can we get can rpg sale or that rpg game we requested in that survey so very long ago.

@115 I buy games constantly. It’s kind of a problem to be honest. :D PSPlus is an amazing service. Some times you get treasures, sometimes you get trash. Totally worth the price of admission though. Currently waiting on GTAV and Diablo III. Bought Xillia a few weeks back. On the fence about Diablo III though. Just don’t know. My wife went and bought GTAV for me last week. Didn’t even ask. Fantastic woman. :D
Please personnel responsible for PSN PLUS U.S. please improve the IGC, because I began to see many comments about Xbox here these past few weeks, I think it must be a bad sign for you, you can be with something expectable for the coming months, but are leaving all the magic that revolved around pLUS get lost in the last three months, I hope it gets better, especially with a new generation of consoles coming up, and I think the dedication of all this time of IGC may be thrown away with that last updates you made. Remember that those who do not know the consoles will look for the difference between them, and between their paid plans, and compare with the Live Gold PLUS U.S. in recent months, we can say that we are in disadvantage, and only the true lovers Playstation know the true capacity of the company and its users!!!

Do you people realize just how terrible most of AC3 is? The thing I lke about US plus is that I don’t own most of what is given for free. In the US more people buy the AAA big name games. AC3 has been given a bunch of discounts on Plus. Do you have any Idea how many plus members own or played and traded in AC3? Sure Resident Evil and ICO aren’t the best we could get but this service is awesome.

and i agree with 127, ive played AC3 and traded it in long ago, but haven’t played ICO or the RE Chronicles. I’ll take two games i haven’t played over one i already got a platinum for.
For people who keep complaining that Europe gets better games than the US market there is a logical reason for this. Europe doesn’t have as many installed users of ps3 or ps plus. So when a company decides to release its game in europe for free it isn’t taking that big of a financial hit. Yet releasing it in US for free is a bigger decsion as there is loads more users to download it and probably alot more lost in sales because of it.
Regardless of the cost of PS Plus, it is a membership service and the NA members are disproportionally unhappy compared to the other regions with the same service model. All it takes is a quick read on the other regions forums to see there is a vast difference in the member comments.
To those that say “if you are unhappy with NA plus just subscribe to the EU service” I ask why should we have to go threw third party vendors and manage multiple region accounts just to get the same level of service given in other regions?
If you truly believe that there is not a disparity between regions, ask yourself how many NA subscribers would remain if Sony were to allow one region swap a year with no regional account limitations. If the comments here are a indicator, NA would become almost non existent.
If the cost of NA plus is to low to offer similar titles to other regions then simply charge more. I personally would be happy paying 4 times as much for what EU gets a year as long as I did not have to use third party vendors to get subscription cards and manage multiple accounts.
I wish it had ps move options, this on the re game.. Only thing that disappoints me is the fact xbox screwed up their policy now we have the full toilet of these bad xbx gamers. who don’t know ps+ is about for and ruin the image good xbx gamers who do. I really don’t understand all of the complaints. Yeah this month isn’t all that exciting for me either. But these are games I would never have tried otherwise. Think about all of the GREAT stuff we have gotten in just the past year…never mind all the amazing DEALS I’ve gotten all year. Thanks to PS Plus my gaming horizons have been VASTLY expanded. So for those unhappy with this months plus perks, just remember there’s always next month for more great titles, but personally I am excited to try ANYTHING new that we get…, thanks again Sony and this Blog!!!

Not sure about all that. The market shares between consoles (with the exception of Wii) show that there are more PS3 users than Xbox users in Europe. In the US, the Xbox is still winning this market share war. Seem to me the logical strategy is to reinforce the position of the PS3 in the US in order to be more competitive against the Xbox (and I think it’s doing fine on this front). There’s many ways to do that, and PS + is one of them. Consolidating the service with PS + seem to be a good strategy to win over some previous Xbox owners.
That being said, I think it’s the disparities between PS+ NA and EU is more a question of licences and stuff. I may be wrong. I may be wrong on all this.
i really hoped we’d get a vita game to play. vita users are always the last to get IGC content. wish we had something to play at the beginning of the month and at the end and not leave us high and dry waiting for a game. come on… do something about it. rayman origins would be nice as a start.
btw will sony in the future allow us to preload a game so that when the store updates we can start playing immediately instead of downloading? like steam?
I really enjoyed the RE Chronicles games on the Wii when they initially came out, but I do find this to be a bit of an odd PS Plus game. Reason being is that a lot of PS3 owners don’t own Move, so this could very simply be a reason why quite a few people are upset in the comments right now, despite the fact that it’s a good game.
I know the same argument can be said for when Vita games are released on Plus and someone only has a PS3, but Sony tends to be strongly moving forward with the Vita and not-so-much moving forward with the Move.
For future PS3 Plus releases, maybe Move games aren’t the best option for the masses. I think this is definitely something to consider, since Move isn’t a necessity for PS3 users.
