I think a lot of people on PSN aren’t use to paying for an XBL style service. The value of ps plus is way better than xbl, if your unhappy the u should try the competition. Buyer beware XBL games on demand cost more than Gamestop used games, sometimes quite a bit more. The discounts aren’t very frequent
And aren’t very good. Old games complaints well if your an xbl sunscriber u could’ve played AC 2 and fable 3 both r pretty old. PS+ is great i like the direction sony is going. I didnt have a psp. So i also enjoy the free psp games on vita. Thanks for giving us $10 earlier this year on r psn accounts never got that on XBL. U know what i got from XBL? Nickel and Dimed every time i turned it on if it worked. Man people just dont realize what they have till its gone. Im glad i made the switch back to PlayStation brand. I was on XBL for 8 years, Been on psn for around 2 and a half years. Im a much happier gamer.

Hi guys. I’ve been a Plus subscriber for almost a year now and overall have been extremely happy with the service and recommend it to every PS3 or Vita or owner. Normally I shrug off the “EU gets it better!” cries, or take them with a grain of salt. However, I literally just checked the EU blog for the first time and September is a perfect example of the evident disparity being complained about. Looking back through the history there is a very clear difference in the profile and sometimes quality of the games being offered in the 2 markets. Although, there is occasion where the only difference is timing, I.e. “Sleeping Dogs”, those seem to be the exception , not the rule. I was just wondering what the cause of this may be, and if there is any chance of the U.S. offerings having more parity with those currently being offered to EU subscribers? Again, I love the service and still consider it a value both to consumers and the company who, via discounts, is able to sell games to customers who may not have normally purchased a certain game. Thanks!
Said it before, I’ll say it again. PS+ EU has a smaller fanbase than NA. Therefore, it gets better games to try to draw users in. Old PS+ NA prior to IGC used to get sweet stuff (PS1 classics – got all RE games free, all Syphon Filter games free, all Crash Bandicoot games free, hardly any full PS3 games before IGC but still a lot of good stuff but you had to catch them during the free period – usually 1 to 2 weeks) but the base is wider now and with IGC always available, monthly treats are not regularly as sweet.
I’m not crazy about this month’s offerings either but at least they are switching up the genres. I don’t even see a fighting game this month, thanks for the break SONY, keep it up for a few more months before hammering us with them again. Somebody is listening a little bit anyway.
For giveaways, PS+ is still better value than Xbox Live and the sales are generally better as well. So, staying with PS+ while I catch up on my gaming library.
And for those wondering where Morgan is, he’s probably on vacation licking his wounds from the usual NA vs EU abuse. People have to stop acting like its his fault. He doesn’t choose the games, he just fronts for the abuse that the SCEA executives are too afraid to confront themselves.

Then Europe gets these great sales I mean awesome need I mention Ni No Kuni has been on sale 50% off or more twice this year. How ould they do that with a small base.

How much do you really think Sony paid for Tekken 6 PSP and Soul Calibur Broken Destiny? I can guarantee it was next to nothing in comparison to the Vita games that Europe got during the same weeks. And that’s the problem. It’s that the US is getting shafted while paying the same/similar amount that Europe is. Sony expects people not to complain?
I see why people are complaining about Assassin’s Creed 3 as well since it’s fairly new and we’re getting a game that launched as a $20 PSN game. If this $20 PSN HD collection is our retail release I’ll be pissed too, but for now, we don’t know, and I know that AC3 sucks, being one of the suckers that got it at launch.
And yes, I know my plus subscription ended yesterday… I was going to renew it, but then I saw KH:1.5 and said “I want it!”. So, that’s where my subscription went. And, I’m currently feeling it cause I forgot that after I reformatted my PS3 a second time, I forgot to re-download all my old saves from the PS Plus server meaning my saves of my physical copies are completely save-less. And, I really don’t want to replay them up to the point where I last played them… especially Tekken 6. That was a very rage-inducing game, and I suck at fighting games. >.<

As much as I try to stay out of the US vs EU Plus free game whining and complaining, I am a bit surprised that ACIII got announced as the free game for September at GAMESCON, an internationally streamed video game conference, and not only was that not the full retail free game for the US as well (I realize the announcement made it clear it was for EU), but instead we get a 2nd-rate last gen-quality Wii port as our “big game” for the month. I figured we’d at least get a high-quality AAA title, even if it was over a year or two old, like Batman Arkham City or Motorstorm Apocalypse.
That said, I’m not complaining, because I understand the different marketing forces at work for the different regions, and I’m still quite happy with my PS Plus membership (the grass will always be greener, etc.). I’m just really surprised Sony did this from a PR perspective. Or maybe the PR department has little input or say in these matters (like at most companies) and is simply left with clean up duty.

This looks like a terrible month for PS+. Resident Evil Chronicles HD has no trophies as well as GTA Liberty City Stories coming up this month. ICO is a great game buy I already own it. I am interested in Rayman Origins Galaga Legends though. I was very upset about this months choice of games but then I remembered GTA5 comes out so that will pretty much take up most of my time in the near future.
I have been waiting forever for an LA Noire DLC discount. Maybe I missed it but I never saw one. I know XBL and Steam got one. PLEASE! 4$ each? Come on, 50% off and I buy all 3 that I’m missing. LA NOIRE DLC SALE! Pretty please with a cherry on top!

What a month crappy old games and stupid worthless sale on the top of it. I can eat my socks because I was tricked to pay $50 for a year or PS Plus 2 months ago. For that money I could have ordered from Amazon NFs Most wanted, Assassins Creed 3 and God of war Acension and I would have been 100 times happier. Instead I feel more and more angry after every updated they have.

So i like that we are catching up to EU ps+ by announcing the content in advance. Can we now get all the content released on the same day? Ideally at the beginning of the month like EU ps+ does.
I’m not one to complain usually.. but since they changed the games out at E3 its been down hill for the US PS PLus program but it keeps getting better in the EU.. I’m not saying Rayman is a bad game but the rest of the line up is kinda lame.. and the lack of sales this week really sucks.. hopefully things get better..
Can we get an explanation at some point as to why we’re getting the standalone Ico HD instead of the ICO + SOTC Collection (like EU received)? Just really curious as to why we received half the product, especially considering this month’s flagship game is a couple of Nintendo Wii ports. I think we’d all like to know because many of us were hoping the collection would pop up on here and we ended up disappointed when SotC was left out for us.
Hopefully next month we won’t get Jax and Daxter 1 instead of a full Jack HD Collection…

Ok: when does RE comes on PS + why don’t US PS+ makes all games available at once like EU PS+?
I’d like to be able to pre-order the digital downloadable version of Killzone: Shadow Fall for the PS4. When will I be able to do this?
The RE requires the move? Or I can play with the DualShock 3?
The ps vita needs a players met list like the ps3
I like the resident evil series and this one is great.
What a month crappy old games and stupid worthless sale on the top of it. I can eat my socks because I was tricked to pay $50 for a year or PS Plus 2 months ago. For that money I could have ordered from Amazon NFs Most wanted, Assassins Creed 3 and God of war Acension and I would have been 100 times happier. Instead I feel more and more angry after every updated they have.
About Puppeteer, do we still get the pre-order bonuses
because I pre-ordered from amazon, but will cancel in favor of the PSN version. I’d hate to lose the avatars and dynamic theme

So i like that we are catching up to EU ps+ by announcing the content in advance. Can we now get all the content released on the same day? Ideally at the beginning of the month like EU ps+ does.
Not much in the way of sales for me, but I’m glad to finally play the RE Chronicles.
I’m not one to complain usually.. but since they changed the games out at E3 its been down hill for the US PS PLus program but it keeps getting better in the EU.. I’m not saying Rayman is a bad game but the rest of the line up is kinda lame.. and the lack of sales this week really sucks.. hopefully things get better..
Can we get an explanation at some point as to why we’re getting the standalone Ico HD instead of the ICO + SOTC Collection (like EU received)? Just really curious as to why we received half the product, especially considering this month’s flagship game is a couple of Nintendo Wii ports. I think we’d all like to know because many of us were hoping the collection would pop up on here and we ended up disappointed when SotC was left out for us.
Hopefully next month we won’t get Jax and Daxter 1 instead of a full Jack HD Collection…

Ugh,… Get better games for PS+ North America! It’s unfair how much better Europe’s IGC is.
Europe gets AC3 and we get a crappy old RE. Lame.
By the way, you pay for this service. It’s not free.
