#45 yeah. Bad timing for limbo, I got the game myself via the humble indie bundle. Pretty nice game though, a must try IMO. Now, I am trying to figure out the ending ;)

Hows about Starhawk MP making its way to plus?

The online community is just now starting to drop off, would be the perfect time to send a few thousand plus members into the fray and give the game the recognition it deserves.

I would even buy plus again!!

So take my money or do not, its your choice.

Best multiplayer this gen, show it some love.

@48 goodbye Sony apologist, you will not be missed. If it were for people like you, the PS3 would still be $600 and you would be ok with it

I understand games can’t just be given away for almost free like on Steam due to licensing fees ie ESRB and server fees, but this doesn’t seem like a great week for sales. Although I understand it’s a business as well, I wish there was a way for PSN/SEN to be more competitive with pricing and variety more often.

Also, please allow to us buy games that we got for “free” from PS Plus!

Rayman Origins for free? Ya—oh. I bought this for like $5 back when it was on sale like 3-4 months ago. This happens time and time again. So I think that’s Playstation’s way of telling me “DON’T BUY ANYTHING” Because it’ll probably be free…soon.

I haven’t tried Rayman , so it will be good shot , but the EU PS Plus will have 2 good games Far cry 3 and Dragon Dogma . These 2 games are pretty good . I wonder if the US PS Plus will have some good games like them ! because it will be unfair if we don’t get something like that .

I honestly doubt you will answer this but I’m gonna try anyways. I am about to renew my ps plus on friday but while I know that drive club will be available to ps plus members on launch day. Sadly the ps4 is sold out in my area so I can not get one on launch day. Will the web store give me the option of putting it on my download list so I do not miss out on it if it takes a while for the system to be put in stock in my area?

More disappointment for this week. I already bought Rayman: Origins for the PS3 when it was $5 on sale so no point for the Vita version for me. And the discounts….bleh, not worth it. I hope next month’s PS+ lineup is waaaaay better than this one. If not, I ain’t renewing my subscription until I get a PS4.

Is that for Best Buy in Canada as well?

Some of the games I wouldn’t mind seeing, for your consideration:

Ni No Kuni

Soul Calibur v

Tomb Raider

Catherine

Stacking

LA Noire

Legasista

Journey

House of the Dead 4

Dead Space Extraction

Dragon Age Origins

Heavy Rain(why isn’t this on the PSN?)

War of the Monsters(ps2)

Capcom vs Snk2(ps2)

Contra(ps2)

La Pucelle Tactics(ps2)

I’d love to see them either discounted or in the IGC. I’d get them but there’s way too many awesome games coming out right now so they keep getting pushed down my ‘to get’ list. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Terrible month. I preferred PS plus before the IGC came. We used to get way better discounts. It seems like the strategy lately has been put the exact same games on sale every few weeks, then after everyone who is remotely interested in the game has already bought it, you put it in the IGC. What happened to Morgan Haro? Did he get fired for trying too hard?

+ Alma_viva on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:09 am said:

OMG finally!!! I’ve been waiting for this game the whole month!! I already own it for my ps3, but I wanna get Rayman Legends for my vita but wanted to finish this first! You’ve made me buy 3 games this month waiting for this hahaha.

82

+ Satnamji on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:09 am said:

When I signed up for a year of Plus when the IGC first launched, I never expected to get 2-3 full retail AAA titles like EU gets. So for the most part I’m happy with the one full-retail PS3 title and two or three PSN games, even when they are games I already own or have no interest in (I expected that would happen, too).

Unfortunately this month, we’ve mostly gotten ports of previous gen games. No beuno.

Thankfully I have a Vita now, so Rayman Origins redeems this month for me.

It seems that you are trying very hard at stopping people from becoming plus members. Or maybe forcing us to consider EU subscription as a viable choice.
Resident Chronicles was just good, but it is already leaving IGC? You don’t have any interest in someone becoming a subscriber nowadays, don’t you?
I used to be excited for the updates, but not anymore. Not in a long, long while.

@52
I was fine with the $600 plus ps3 prices , mostly because it meant only mature adult gamers were on psn and all the cheating boosting and hacking little kids couldn’t afford a ps3 , before 2009 online play was still fun and you didn’t need to mute all the 14 years old kids in every game or get nasty messages from them when you beat them online

Anyway , that is out of my system and I can post what I came here to post

Not the best week for plus , maybe not even the best month for me but of the few million plus members I’m sure a there are hundreds of thousands who likes every item , sony can’t please everyone and has to negotiate with game developers to get us this free content , those developers sell fewer copies of certain games in Europe so to get people interested in their games that may need to give a free game that in north america they don;t need to work that hard to sell games
its not Sony alone who decides what games to plut on the igc or discount , so why don’t people go to the game developers and ask for what they want instead of every week complaining to sony ?

+ BigBacon87 on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:26 am said:

Origins is great for those who don’t already own it(Legends is even better). Other than that thou, who keeps dropping the ball on weekly sales? That is the most appealing part of the service since our IGC is just a shadow of the EU Plus IGC. Sadly we keep seeing the same games on sale week after week. I bought Limbo 2 weeks ago on sale for $5 less than this weeks sale price. That’s not right. Take off the training wheels NA Plus. Take a look at what’s going on overseas and try to achieve what they achieve rather than settling for ‘this will do…’. Plus is a great service but it could be even better with some effort.

97

+ FJ1100_rider on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:26 am said:

Forgot to say this one last thing
If you think e.u plus is better you can buy it , nothing says you can only get plus from the u.s region
create an e.u account , get some psn cards from there and buy plus if you want their content instead of whining , it’s like saying wal-mart has a better price but still buying at gamestop all the time

+ TucoMcFly on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:28 am said:

Enough with the PS VITA stuff. Plus was doing so well and i was afraid it was gonna turn into this, where games went on discount for ps3 and the freebies were focused on the vita. Its also great for new members that your discounting games that have been free in the past but that does nothing for people who have had plus for awhile. It also dosent help my confidence that ive bought games on discount only to see them be free a month or two later. Anything on sale for plus I will not buy because history shows it will just be free if i wait a little longer.

99

+ PhillyTheCat on September 23rd, 2013 at 10:31 am said:

As far as the Limbo sale goes…it’s on sale yet again but more expensive…and it’s within one month of the last sale. At least switch it to the better sale that was offered in 8/27/2013…I’ll consider buying it at that price since the opportunity passed me by.

It just seems like a shady sale to me.

Sony doesn’t even try anymore to please their ps+ users. Now with the PS4 soon coming out and will be requiring ps+ to play online games, Sony knows they will have huge number of people subscribing so they don’t have any incentive to give ps+ users GOOD “free games” anymore. We can expect more lame “free games”. More indie games, pinball and vita games! I don’t even expect the great free Europe games. Give me a ps2 classic game for crying out loud! If we get a full retail game for free, it will probably be Duke Nukem Forever or Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
