What about digital people. I will do PS4 digital version. Will a preorder be ready in time for us to get in on the beta? Or should I pereorder at Amazon, then cancel preorder after beta and proceed to buy the Digital version at launch?

I’m also curious about digitally pre-ordering for the PS4 version to get into the beta, but I’m sure it just can’t be disclosed until the PS4 is actually out with the new store :)

This is a huge concern going forward… I have no plans on buying any games on disc for PS4, I’m going 100% digital… every bonus offer I’ve seen for PS4 pre-orders always involves pre-ordering a hard copy at retailers… Sony, you need to come up with a solution for the folks who are not buying discs this next gen
Please show us some PS3 footage. Getting the PS3 version because I will not have $ to buy a PS4 anytime soon.
I already got a pre-order for the PS4 at my local Best Buy back in June. Do I go down to the store and get my code for the Beta? Or should I cancel and pre-order through Best Buy online to get the code?

Promise me you will always make games for PlayStation!!! This is where you belong!! With the PlayStation family! I’m so glad you have won me over with this game and made me big fan of yours now. Keep making more games like this and I will always be a fan! Never thought it would been possible cos was never a Halo fan. But this game just looks more and more beautiful each time you show more.

I say great trailer, but I have one complaint. Decrease the mass of the moon so that movement is slower and can jump higher so that it replicates the moons gravitational force. You are the boss though, you can do whatever you want. Just glad to see you developing for PS!

I too plan on going full digital and it is weird that they do not have that option posted. However, if you want the beta just put like 5 dollars on it at a gamestop or something to get the beta, then buy it digitally and use that store credit on something like a controller later or just switch the same 5 dollars from game to game to get beta preorder access for every game that has it.
Bungie question is beta access with pre-order offered at EB Games? because only says Gamestop :( I’m planning to pre-order Destiny at Christmas for PS4 can’t wait for the beta early 2014 and the game spring 2014 keep up hard work Bungie :)

What about digital orders?
Like post 6 said why is there always an incentive to buy a boxed copy at retailers but never digital?
If Sony’s PSN store is not going to offer retail like exclusives you need retailers like Best Buy and Amazon to have an option to order a digital redemption code.
It would also nice if prices between the boxed copy and redemption code were competitive because as of now they aren’t. Case in point Best Buy has some Vita digital redemption codes but usually cost more than the boxed copy of the same game. I don’t know if Best Buy ‘s price match guarantee also applies to these digital copies. Gamestop’s online store also has digital Vita games but not in store and like Best Buy aren’t competitive with the physical copy.

Just put down $10 on Destiny for PS4 at EB Games and got beta code then I redeem it :)
You people at Bungie need to embrace the future & allow people who pre-order the digital downloadable versions of Destiny from the PS Store to gain access to the beta.
Also, you need to open up the beta to PS Pus members too,

Whats the point of pre-ordering an online only game when every online game released doesn’t work right at launch. FF14, GTA Online, SimCity (and the list goes on) never worked right and some still have problems even well after there release date.
I’m not trying to be negative as this game looks awesome but the Beta access should be ready for all users not just the pre-orders so they can test the stress level of the servers better and have a working game at launch.
Looks like my concern has already been addressed by a few people… I intend to buy the majority of my games digitally on the PS4. I’m hoping to be able to pre-order this and inFamous through PSN when the PS4 launches… hopefully that will still get me in the beta!

I had my pre order for some time now for ps4 and i still havent received any code :(
Hey JROD, All you need to do is go to GameStop, cancel the preorder, then repreorder it all in one fell swoop. Then the beta code will print on your receipt.
theres a lot of hype for this game. It seems so similar to halo because its being made by bunjie but I know that they have came up with a creative game because they would not be able to sell if it was beneath halo. So im looking forward to getting this game after just recently switching to ps3 after have been a nintendo fan all of my young life. Congrats sony
how do those of us that want to go all digital get on this? or even pre-order any digital ps4 game???
I’m sure there will be digital preorder bonuses for PS4 eventually, but we don’t have the system yet, so I guess they don’t want us preordering anything that can’t be returned. I’ve got my guaranteed day one PS4 preorder, but… what if I don’t get it?
I’d love to start preordering stuff on SEN for PS4, but when I think about it like that, yeah, maybe they’re just being responsible. PS3, however…

Will I still be able to play the beta if my account isn’t the account on my ps3 (or ps4) that has a plus membership?
