When legions of monstrous alien creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a deadly war began. Pacific Rim tells the story of the human resistance devised to combat them using massive robots called Jaegers as weapons. Now on the verge of defeat, mankind must turn to a washed-up former pilot and an untested trainee teamed in a seemingly obsolete Jaeger. Watch Pacific Rim today to witness these unlikely heroes battle as the last hope against a mounting alien apocalypse.

Two buddy films steal the spotlight for this week’s PlayStation Store refresh.

Starting with the comedic duo of Vaughn and Wilson, The Internship tells the story of old-school salesmen Billy and Nick who attempt to reboot their obsolete careers by joining Google’s prestigious internship program. Watch as these two relics crash the digital world in this laugh-out-loud buddy comedy that clicks. Plus buy the UNRATED version to watch all the behind-the-scene moments not shown in theaters!

Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy team up in the outrageously funny comedy, The Heat. From the director of Bridesmaids, Paul Feig, uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) couldn’t be more incompatible but when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected…buddies.

Jeff:

Thank you for putting up The Wizard of Oz (1939 version) in 3D.

I’ve seen it a million times, but never in 3D.

@ 3 – Superstone.

Saw your comment on this before and I totally agree with you.

I know in the stores I purchase my 3D blurays from, they normally have the DVD, Bluray, 3d Bluray and digital copy included.

Would be great if Sony could do the bundle deals.

come on sony. updating the content is great. but every time i mention this it gets ignored.

fix the screensaver on the ps3. it takes 5 minutes to activate, and EVERYTHING interupts it and resets the timer. my ‘screensaver’ hardly ever activates. please set a timer for 10seconds or something in that range. even 30 seconds would be better, honestly…even 1 minute would be better. but 5, its to long. please. or/and add a push button option to turn it on/off. AND, id adore it if i could use the ps3 screensaver options from playing music.

please.
