  • Great update. Thanks team!

  • Greetings, I’m planning to buy the infinite balls mode for Breakquest: Extra Evolution so I don’t have to worry about losing the balls, specially when I lend my game to my cousins. So here is the question: When the game starts it says that if the save data is deleted all your balls purchased will be lost, that would be the case with infinite balls mode too right? I mean, if I decide to delete the game then my purchase would be lost?

    Thank you for your attention.

  • Man, Spyro and Crash still don’t work on Vita? You guys just tap-danced on our faces

  • Nice update! Gonna download Shadow of the Colossus!

  • One of the best weeks for Vita!

    THANK YOU!

  • Just Spyro. Even with the discounts, many games still way too expensive.

  • Nice update!

    Thanks Grace.

  • It was foolish hope, but part of me wanted to believe that putting the Crash and Spyro games on sale would coincide with them finally being playable on Vita in the US.
What’s the deal with PSOne compatibility, anyway, it’s been a good half a year since the last update, right? Should we expect anything further any time, or assume that there won’t be anything more than what we already have?

  • Awesome update this week, excited to spend some $$$ this week. One request, could we get some avatars for Shadow of the Colossus and ICO? Being Sony exclusives, y’know! Would also enjoy avatars for Metal Gear Rising and the Z.O.E. games, just throwin’ that out there. Thanks for the hard work, looking forward to the Halloween updates/sales!

  • Amazing Spider-Man still seems a little pricey…Nothing for me this week.

By the way, with Halloween right around the corner any chance of a SIREN: BLOOD CURSE discount? $15 dollars for each section is ridonk. Anyway, we’ll have fun talking about the latest and greatest on the Go For Rainbow podcast, hope my PSN friends here will join us.

  • No Borderlands 2 GotY on PSN?

  • In all honesty, customer support from Sony is APPALLING!
I’ve been a happy fan since recently, but seeing how Sony is unwilling/unable to resolve a SIMPLE issue in over 3 weeks (!!!) re. a purchase I did is just disgusting.
I paid for something and Sony simply doesn’t care to give me what was promised for preordering.

PSN has a technical problem and the customer has to suffer and nobody cares.

And here no-one cares to reply either, just overall great customer service, really.
If anyone wants a PS4, I might cancel my preorder soon, so there will be one available.
Not that Sony would care of course. :/

    • Just wanted to let you know that I forwarded this issue to some of our CS agents. I hope you get this issue sorted out soon! Sorry for any inconvenience. <3

  • Lousy week for a PS+ user if you like Rocksmith!

I’m very happy to see Tony Hawk HD on sale though.

  • SOTC HD……Its gonna be a great week
    THanks guys

  • I’m not clear… is dragon’s crown a cross-buy game? If buy PS3 version, do I get the Vista version for free too?

    Thanks

  • nice week dont know what to get :P

: PS4 SOLD OUT :( make more so you can sell more !?!?

  • Where is Beyond Two Souls in today’s update? Beyond!!! :)

  • Just Shadow of the Colossus for me. I tried it years ago and it didn’t hook me. I’ll give it another go.

It would be nice for some confirmation of the annoyance that Spyro and Crash (apart from CTR) are not Vita compatible, either to say, yes, we understand your frustration and are working to get more PS1 games Vita compatible, and to release more PS1 games in general (the answer I would like to hear) or else let us know whether an update can be expected, is planned, is in any kind of discussion.

Kind of strange to have them on sale and not use the occasion to say, guess what, you can now play them on your Vita.

  • Grace:
will crash work on my vita?

  • Looking forward to trying out “Shadow of the Colossus”. I missed out when it was on the PS2, same with Ico, which I still need to finish. Great update though!

  • Great update! Definitely buying some more Vita content.

I have two suggestions I really want to put out there:

1- PSN needs options for additional security measures for users, such as allowing known IP addresses only to login, text code verification, email verification, security tokens, etc. With PSN getting an upgrade with PS4, this is a great time to do that.

2- I would really like the option to separate my sub account from my PSN master account. The sub account exists because my brother was not 18 at the time of account creation, but he is now well over that age and should be able to have his own separate account without having to lose the account he has used for years and accumulated so much on. Please change this account policy or allow us to separate accounts; I have seen people asking for this for years, and once again this is the perfect time now that PSN is transitioning to PS4.

    Thanks

  • @ 16, not a cross-buy, but a great game — I have the PS3 version.

  • Some great stuff here for Vita, not to mention Beyond! None of those sales are even remotely interesting, but oh well. Thanks!

  • Will check out the Atomic Ninjas demo on Vita!

    Any demo of Malicious Rebirth?

    • Usually if there’s a demo it will be indicated on the game’s product page. Currently Malicious Rebirth doesn’t have one, but I’m not aware of their future plans.

  • i must say, great update. but i would have had malicious rebirth as a PS+ game… like the ps3 version. but hey that just me.

  • As always, my thanks to the PSN team.

Gonna pick up Malicious Rebirth and a few other things. That Dishonered GOTY edition definitely makes me wish I had waited on buying the game so long ago. I’ve owned the game since last black friday and still haven’t gotten around to it!

  • Crash bandicoot sales!!!!!!!!!
    *drops food runs to ps3*

  • Thanks to all the good people at PS US Blog. Will be picking up Beyond soon and might get Tony Hawk for $10 with it’s DLC.

Just got a quick question , when will PS4 games be coming to PS Store?

I know about the buy PS3 and upgrade to PS4 game for $10, but I would rather just get PS4 versions preordered and save the experience for PS4..(AC4-BF4-KZ-Watchdogs-Knack-Sports games;etc.)

If not before spend $50 get $10 back, I will buy the PS3 versions and upgrade with my cash I get back…If it’s in time for PS4 launch..Oi! xD

    PeaceV

  • Discounts in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

  • why the prototype price saids $10.99 on the first table and $14.99 on the second, it is a mistake, or both are different?

  • Got the Crash and Spyro games I wanted but why are they still not Vita compatible?
The games are compatible for EU and even JPN PSN accounts, and those users can play them on their Vita systems.

  • also the prices on the discount table are lower than the sales table; it is confusing

  • Putting Crash and Spyro for sale this week without being Vita-compatible is a serious blow below the belt to NA Vita owners. I think I’ll withhold my cash this week.

  • I don’t understand the sales/discounts tables, why two, with different content? Sorry I don’t get it.

  • PS4 is a month away from launch and STILL these sales completely suck.

  • Oh nvm. First one the discount for PS Plus members, second the weekly sale, I suppose.

  • No digital version of Beyond: Two Souls?! so much for “the future is digital”…

  • Reviewers are destroying beyond two souls, sony just suck at launching games.

  • Nothing for me this week. Back to Los Santos.
(Would of bought Beyond digitally… hint hint nudge nudge)

  • @40: Indeed digital is so convenient. No way I’m getting out my home this rainy night, but buying from PS Store is a different story… :D

I fear for Beyond’s file size though. Must be a lot of GBs.

  • The PS Plus sale price of Rocksmith songs is higher than the normal price? And PS Plus prices are higher in Sales table than in Discounts table?

    • Thanks for catching the Rocksmith error, the discount should clearly be the lower price :) The PS Plus prices are lower than the sales for everyone else, so not sure where you’re seeing that they are higher…

  • i miss seeing Rock Band DLC every week :(

  • Disgaea D2!!!!! Although I wish they released a Vita version also since I would prefer to play it on a handheld, but I’ll enjoy the PS3 version just as much.

  • Great update. To me, October is already much better compared to September. I spent a good amount this month because of the sales and the “Spend $50, Get $10” offer. Unlike the previous month, I haven’t spent a single penny.

Kinda disappointed that Crash and Spyro aren’t Vita ready even after they went on sale. Still bought them neither the less to play on my PSP.

  • Wheres borderlands 2 GOTY? It was in the drop.

    • The Drop includes both retail-only items (in this case, Borderlands 2 GOTY) as well as PSN titles. Sorry for the confusion!

  • Bring Crash and Spyro to Vita!

  • I was gonna get a ps4 but not anymore since it would just sit there until gta5 or gta online comes out on ps4 since that’s the only games I care about an the main ones I will be playing for the next 7 years or more

  • @Kristine Steimer I think the confusion from the two different charts is that the header for the sale prices on BOTH say “PS Plus Price”. Might want to fix that.

  • Sony comments have begun, and not a one acknowledging the PSOne games not on Vita.
