@Kristine. For example, in the table labeled “Discounts,” the PS Plus price for the Crash Bandicoot games is $2.99, but in the table below it labeled “Sales,” it says PS Plus prices for those same games is $3.99. Other games that appear in both tables are like that as well.

@ Kristine
Thanks for taking care.

I really hope it gets FINALLY solved, I contacted CS three (!) times already, email or live chat and they just don’t seem to want resolve the issue or reply at all.
It is VERY frustrating to be treated like that!

thats a huge slap in the face…. Crash and Spyro cant be bought for the VITA? I bought my vita for nostalgia on the ROAD with the added benefit of great games…. and you give THIS great OFFER, and i cant even play them? sad…. sad week for me SONY, thanks for crushing my nostalgia moment…. hopefully next week we get discount for games that actually work on vita, cause its a waste to have a deal that cant be used for many VITA owners.

+ Lackshmana on October 8th, 2013 at 4:21 pm said:

I’m on the fence about buying the Spyro games, because I mostly want to play them on my Vita, but we have no word on when or if that will ever be possible. Its such a shame, because the Vita is so amazing.

One of the more frustrating aspects of that is how no one at Sony ever mentions this issue. Suikoden, Valkyria Chronicles, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 5, all the Crash game, all the Spyro games. All have some kind of issue keeping them off the Vita PS Store.

Do you folks realize that Castlevania Symphony of the Night is actually available on the Vita store but it can only be seen via the “search” feature? Surely Konami is not happy to have one of their most beloved titles hidden away from the eyes of consumers, no?

Is there a policy against you guys discussing this sort of thing? Do the higher ups realize that it shows poorly on Sony’s ability to manage digital gaming when the existing service is so inexplicably inconsistent?

Sony has managed to improve just about everything about the Playstation brand over the last few months so I am hopeful that this will carry over to the PS Store eventually.

+ Draxido on October 8th, 2013 at 4:28 pm said:

Sony, please just answer WHY NO CRASH AND SPYRO IN VITA !!! you can say “We dont know” or something and we understand, really. we know its not your fault. even if you say “We´re not able to tell why” its okay !

PS: if i buy 49.99 i still get the 10$ code? because i want Dragons Crown + Fifa 13 and the total is 49.98 do i still get the good price?

PS can i buy separately one thing today, one thing in 1 week and 1 thing in 5 days geting a total of 49.98 or 50 $ and recibe the code??? or do i need to buy them in 1 single transaction?

Thanks ! Good update guys :)

+ Thermopyle2 on October 8th, 2013 at 4:28 pm said:

Is there a reason PS+ members don’t get an additional discount off sale prices? Even 10% would be something–$27 for Dragon’s Crown, $20 for P4G, $13.50 for Catherine, etc.. Seems like that would be appropriate.

Interesting that you put Disgaea D2 as the store image, not pimpin Beyond Two Souls anymore?

61

+ Kevvik on October 8th, 2013 at 4:50 pm said:

For those wondering if PSOne compatibility will ever arrive as promised, please note that the only VITA compatibility SONY cares about right now is compatibility with PS4.

They don’t even give any serious effort in producing quality original material for the VITA anymore. Most of it is cross-buy or ports from PS3. A high-potential device like the VITA has been virtually abandoned as a system due to poor marketing, outrageously over-priced proprietary memory cards and piss-poor support leaving users high and dry.

Sony to users: Thanks for buying what we promised was a system and now only see as a peripheral.

VITA owners deserve better.

US BLOG team, people no longer want to know “Is Crash and Spyro available for VITA”. They also no longer want to know “Why for the love of (insert relevant holy figure) is Crash and Spyro not available for VITA?”. No no, now we are just asking “Why can’t you comment on this subject matter?”. Is there some legal issue that prevents you from even speaking about it? Just say yes and we will understand. But to completely ignore or even acknowledge your customer’s queries is very unprofessional behavior for a company this big. It’s certainly not a technical reason since the rest of the world has it. Maybe… Maybe its something like Fight Club, you just can’t talk about it in public. I know you guys wont reply to this because i used the Sony forbidden C-word and S-word (crash & spyro).

On another note, i do like the fact that you guys were able to bring some PSOne games on sale, keep up the negotiations with publishers and bring more old games on sale and we will purchase them.

Thanks for reading.

Please, can you guys fix it? I have just bought a $50 PSn Card to buy lots os PSone Classics and now I cannot store or play them on my PS Vita? HOW COME? I even bought a saparate 16Gb memory card just to store them and made it exclusively dedicated to PSOne Classics.

I don’t wanna store them on the PS3. I used it exclusively for PS3 games.

Please, I have always supported the brand, playstation systems and its games and I see no reason why it wont work and existing any kind of restriction.

Unrelated to this update but, do you guys have any idea in how to fix the infinite loading screen error in Diablo 3 when trying to join someone online? Me and others never had this problem until the latest patch (1.0.2), and while it is a problem with the router (game works fine when the ps3 is hooked up directly to the modem) the possible solution offered by Blizzard so far does not work (port forwarding)… I tried leaving my ps3 out of the router’s firewall using DMZ and even turned the firewall off, and it still didn’t work.

@88: Don’t worry. You aren’t missing too much. I played the game for like 2 hours at my friend’s and I didn’t really like it. 6.5/10. This isn’t just me. The game is getting almost the same score on many websites. The game is a movie with interactions.

Why is spyro year of the dragon a ps/psp game not working on the vita? I was under the impression that all ps games worked…

Thanks

There wasn’t any question about if and when, with Beyond: Two Souls.

It was merely a question about if there may be a digital release. “If there is, I’ll pick it up” is an example response.

“If there isn’t” is a response that is a little bit harder than anyone can expect. Imagine if that happens. “What if?”

Can this man really be trusted to walk into a game stop and buy the game legitimately?

I’d wager that he can’t be trusted to do that.

But he still wants to play the game.

How come I can’t purchase Crash, it says download. I have all of them, 2 that I own and 2 from playstation plus for free. I would like to purchase the ones that I don’t own. How do I go about that? I’ve had this problem before, when you go to buy a game on discount that was already given for free you can’t buy it. What’s up with that?

Am I the only one that noticed that the crash and spyro games were listed on ps+ post as 2.99 and yet when I go to look at this post, it lists them as 3.99? Which one is correct? I mean 2.99 is a great deal for them but 3.99 isn’t much of a discount. Just FYI, thanks.

Same goes for Tony Hawk HD. It was listed earlier as 7.99 with the DLC at 2.99, now it’s 9.99 and 3.99 respectively. My urge to purchase these fine games are at risk because of confusion of pricing.

@85 Brulnow:
You earn all the cash November when they tally up your purchases. Those purchases will get you a hefty 30$ back.

I have a request, can you make a discount on Gravity Rush Packs? I want to play them but they are too expensive ($4 each), please make a sale for add-on and put them at least at $3.
