Yesterday I threw the suggestion of a Persona sale. And BAM, today 1-3 are on sale for $10 a pop. You guys work fast.
I’m extremely disappointed with the free game this week. Poker Night 2 keeps freezing, and stuttering, and is practically unplayable. It is literally saving/ stuttering every 30 seconds. Hope you guys choose better titles next month, perhaps ones that aren’t plagued by glitches, bugs, and stutters? Just my opinion I guess…
@Morgan: So… I got your hint. No purchase then… either that, or you have stopped replying to the blog after a certain early hour on day one of the post (which I hope is not the case).
I really hope we get at least Metal Gear Rising next month, just like EU users, because downloading and trying this Poker game was a waste of time. At least Okami HD was a good deal.

For the past month or so ps plus US has been getting really bad treatment.Most free games were not AAA titles and some discounts were recycled from last year (Limbo for instance) while UK got amazing AAA titles like AC3 and Farcry 3. All I am asking is to lower the number of discounts and give us more AAA, They do not have to be new you could just put old titles like dead space 1 & 2 or old AC titles and it would not hurt to throw in a new title every once in a while and stop giving us free open world games I think we had enough.

You guys really need to take a look at Poker Night 2, especially as a game offered as a part of the IGC. The repeated conversations aren’t too bad because they change somewhat from location to location, and you’re supposed to win and update your felts.
But the freezes are game-breaking. The multi-second freezes happen several times a hand as characters bet. But when a character busts out or big things happen in the game, there’s a good chance of a freeze that literally freezes the entire game. The only way out of this is to quit out of the game. Because this happens during “big moments,” it doesn’t happen during tournaments where you can’t catch a break and are slowly losing. But it happens quite often when you get good hands and are beating your opponents and are close to winning tournaments.
At this point, I’m hundreds of thousands of dollars down simply because of the game freezing up during winning tournaments. It’s going to make getting the 1 mil trophy close to impossible without exploiting the game and closing out of the game during losing tournaments just to compensate– and that’s not fun, it’s not playing poker, it’s just using an exploit to get around a broken game for trophy hunting.
Guys, put Nier on the list. Great underrated game!

In the PSN Store on the PS3, I saw an ad offering a $10 credit for buying a year subscription to PS+. This just refers to the $10 credit on $50 and does not apply in addition to it? In other words, buying a year of PS+ doesn’t get you two $10 credits, one for buying the PS+ and the other for spending $50, right?
Garbage, EU gets AAA and we get a poker game. And the game has a terrible perfomance on the PS3(Anti aliasing is not even enable,my low-end PC can do it better) Garbage.

I just got my membership and it sas you get a $10 credit if you sign up so I havent seen it yet reflecting on my acct either but they state if you spend $50 dollars from now til end of Oct you get $10 credit posted to acct in November so I wonder if that also means it post to your acct when November is here if you got membership in Oct
The developers who ported this to PS3 did horribly. I’m of course referring to Poker Night 2. When I still had my 360 and played this it was an absolute joy. I’m not sure what they did to it on PS3 but it is constantly saving, saving, saving, saving, saving every five seconds. Dialogue freezes or gets cut off completely. The game itself just stops functioning or you have to wait 5 minutes to play a hand. I downloaded this and after 30 minutes uninstalled this. Normally the games on PS plus are great and without issue, I’m not sure how this one slipped through the cracks at Sony or with the developer but it’s unfortunate because it’s actually a fun game to play when it works. I would remove it from PS plus until it’s remedied, providing that ever happens.
