I am loving my Vita and enjoy it every single day. I just got BAO: Blackgate on Friday and it’s an awesome game on the Vita.. going through it three times to get the Platinum.. and enjoying every second. :) (I realize it’s on 3DS, but I can’t ever seeing myself enjoying the game as much on that thing.)
If I buy AC4 tonight and get the upgrade to PS4, will my save data transfer? I heard it won’t but I want to make sure before I blow $60 tonight. Please respond!!

Dude, next time read the fine print. It’ll be another week or so (Nov. 8th IIRC) before ANYBODY gets their money back from that promotion. There’s no secret cabal of Sony executives in a cave somewhere hatching a plot to piss you off.
So, how come we haven’t been getting any more PSOne Classics lately? Are you just waiting until after the PS4 launches to throw more up? There’s plenty of hidden gems on there I wouldn’t mind getting. Here’s a wish list (not that it’ll do any good XD):

That image at the top of the Drop is the first I’ve seen that even remotely made me interested in Assassin’s Creed IV. I’ll still be passing but I hope people picking that up enjoy it!
I’ll go along with the folks wondering why there aren’t a lot more PS1/PS2 classics being released. Maybe they’re hard to recode for PS3 or something, but it would be nice if they ran on some kind of schedule. Maybe one of each per month added to the PS Store at least? Not asking for a handout either. Just sayin’.

While we know the PS4 will not playback or convert Red Book discs (AKA Music CD’s) are they really not going to let us copy our MP3’s to the hdd via USB? This is pretty bad news if you ask me.
The only way we can listen to background music while gaming on the PS4 sounds like we would need to subscribe to their Music Unlimited service.. A $100 service by the way.
Pre-ordered AC4 yesterday. I’m not actually planning to play a lot of the PS3 version, since I assume there is no way to cloud-sync Single Player progress. But I figured with the $10 back for $50 spent deal going on I essentially get the PS4 upgrade for free and I get the ability to directly compare the two versions.
It would be nice if I can download AC4 tonight but I’m assuming that GTAV midnight-release was a special case and I’ll have to wait till I get home after work tomorrow to start the download.
I’m hoping that midnight digital releases become standard on PS4 because I’ve been enjoying the ability to download the newest games from Steam at 9pm PST Monday for years now. Combine that with the ability to pre-load and I can get a couple hours of the game in without having to stay up too late.

I preordered the Assassin’s Creed IV Gold Edition. Everywhere I look it lists all the preorder content for various retailers being included in this version. I got 4 downloads. The game, the UPlay passport, the Aveline ship figurehead, and the Aveline DLC.

My advice would be to wait until the PS Store update post later today. Even though the game may be available to download right now, they may still be in the process of adding DLC and other content. Should they be finished with it? Probably. Has this ruined your life? I doubt it. Be patient. None of this qualifies as a fiasco. :)
Just to be clear: The “$10 back” sale ends today. I know we will get the cash next month but can I still get it if I buy games after the update before today is done? Is there an official end to the sale ie midnight? or at the update?

@138 – It is not nothing. The store has updated. My Arkham Origins is still missing the season pass skins. My Battlefield 4 is missing the China Rising DLC. It appears that my Assassin’s Creed IV Gold Edition is missing the 6 preorder packs but I’m not sure on that one yet until i’ve had time to look around in the game. I am sure about the first 2.
