I know Sony is hoping to make off like bandits from those who don’t want to renew beyond the free trial. Just think, lets say 1 million units get move. Out of those 1 million, 500,000 (half) don’t want to renew but are unaware of the default auto renew, so they get charged $50/year 1,000,000 X 500,000 @$50 = $PAYDAY for sony. Just saying…

While it is nice to provide these surprise gifts, I do feel a touch slighted that you won’t allow the 30 day trial offer to be added on to those who are already members, and have shown and provided support for PS Plus previously.

Just picked up Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack today and neither had ANY of these codes. Killzone had a 7 day trial for plus…no 10 dollar psn credit or music unlimited in either. Very Disappointed

this kinda sucks though. as a psn user, who have paid for ps plus alot during past years I’d like sony to give me a month of ps plus free as well as an appreciation. similarly for music unltd. Im not a subscriber of unltd but I have a free account on that. $10 gift is cool I can buy an indie game or maybe I can put some more money on top of it and buy a big game like fifa14.

I didn’t cancel my pre-order, but I will keep it sealed and if by Xmas we don’t get a definitive answer on these I’m going to sell it on eBay (for at least an extra $100) to cover the additional money on an XBone.
There is no reason a new console in 2013 shouldn’t cover the basics.
And for PrimeroIncognito, who will ultimately try and say something like “Hey! It’s a GAME system, not a MEDIA PLAYER!!”.. I say this.. “If this is the case, why are they trying to sell you Music Unlimited? Why are they including 13 video and audio apps to a GAME system and leave off the only one that doesn’t make them money?
Just wanted to know some info. I bought a Playstation Plus 1 year subscription, I also about COD Ghosts which came with another week and I heard the PS4 comes with a month trial. If I use them all, will they all add up or stack up?

WOW !! My biggest surprise is that you will have to pay the $50 Playstation annual membership in order to play online. I was ready do buy a PS4, now I think I will wait and see how PS$ and XboxOne really compare.
I’m glad of this, now my main question is the following. We all know we’ll have a free trial of plus membership with the purchase of the ps4. So with that being said, will our gamertag still be plus if we log in into the ps3? I was wondering cause I’m getting rid of my ps3 and I know Sony offers a feature for plus members to be able to back up their game data and saved games to their online storage? I was wondering if anyone knows we’ll be able to do that? If possible that way I can back up my data to the online storage and have it ready for some of the games I’ve played that I may wanna play some other time again whenever they allow us to re-download our previoused games that were purchased on the store. Anyone that’s reading this question and has an answer I would be glad if you take your time to answer it.

Too bad we can’t give games we downloaded from the store digitally to our friends on the ps4 like we used to do on the ps3! That seriously sucks! Why can’t we game share anymore I thought we could use it on two consoles like it says but then again that was the ps3. Anyone sure that we can’t share our downloads? I read two different things about this on the psn they sort of contradict themselves when the say “yes you can use content you’ve purchased on another ps4 simultaneously etc. but they went on to say that when the person that bought the content with that id signs out of their name on another ps4 everything they downloaded is erased and the friend can’t access my games. So which is it Sony? Can 1 friend play my digital downloads I bought simultaneously like you said or they can not play unless they are on my name also like you said? Which is it? Contradictory! Can I give my effn friends my digital games like we can on the ps3 on the effn ps4 wow why is this so friggin hard to answer
I love the $10 voucher, thank you Sony! That being said, I am sorely disappointed with the Music Unlimited trial. I tried it years ago and didn’t like it. But now with the PS4 I wanted to try it and see how the integration was. We paid hard earned money for our systems, all the free stuff should be for EVERYONE!
I don’t care about the mp3/cd support. Just let me stream videos from my computer using a media server like the PS3.
i got the three fold and only the $10 code worked ps+ and music unlimited arent working and the 7 day free trail i got from bf4 isnt working ether
It won’t stack on existing memberships, isn’t that sweet. Even on my 360 they would let you stack as many trial subscriptions as you wanted as long as the code was valid. So hooray if you’re new, piss off if you already paid. Nice.

What I do not appreciate however is that Canada users get their Madden 25 ps3 to ps4 for 10 bucks. The run around I got at gamestop was crazy. I preordered Madden after being told I could turn in the ps3 game and get the other for 10 bucks. Only for them to tell me they were wrong on release night. Then someone said you can get it for 10 with the ps3 disc on the ps4. I looked it up online and that seems to be only if you bought it digitally.
If Microsoft can do this with disc based games I don’t see why loyal sony customers can not get the same treatment from sony. I’m sure you all could make this happen.
