I played BF 1943 WAY back, but I just got BF3 in PlayStation Plus a few months ago. I’m addicted, and CoD used to be my shooter of choice. I’m pretty sure I’ll be picking up BF 4 as soon as I can afford a PS4.

so am i the only one who could not get the same button layout for BF4 on the PS4 as i had it on the PS3 for BF4, now i have to get used to another button layout?

Maybe more enhanced settings, for better precision aiming.

I did not start having to buy multiple games, until I was cut off from Battlefield.

For those of you who bought Premium, can you confirm that the PS3-PS4 upgrade was indeed free? and what does the touchpad do in-game?

cannot wait to see this game in 1080p/60fps, that’s the way BF4 was intended.. not the chugging mess it is on PS3 which is a huge step back (performance-wise) from BF3.

I keep having problems with the origin setup it won’t let me finish it. I pick my username and hit next and it keeps telling me to pick a username even if it’s not taken…any suggestions?

Vincent can’t answer questions on why EA viciously sabotaged their game for PS4. It’s funny how they originally blamed “PS4 1.5 update” as the issue but then retracted said article off the web because they knew, like most EA games, it’s their issues. If EA ever wants to stop being voted “worst company of the year” they need to stop milking the Microsoft titty-cash-cow and start treating BOTH platform consoles with respect to their fan-based (saying that made a piece of my soul died lol) players that support EA products. Shame.

cant do conquest on bf4 but other than that all the other games work good so far i more of a battlefield player i have like 5000 plus hours on bf3 anyway hope that ea fixes it soon but does anyone have a idea when they will fix it ?

How am I supposed to play battlefield to the fullest when I dont have a decent headset with a mic ,I have kids and they sleep and I don’t have time but at night when they are sleeping to play Bf4 , I get it that the bluetooth headsets won’t work on the ps4 ,but for gods sakes give me the option to buy a new set of 5 or 7.1 surround headsets to buy for the ps4 ,Who was in charge of this ,the “mono” headset you get with the system is beyond a joke ,this make the ps4 look like crap and its a slap in the face for BF4 players.

I bought the PS3 version of BF4 + Premium on PSN. Why is the PS4 version not free? It was supposed to be a free upgrade if I bought Premium, as stated on an earlier blog post below:

there are videos all over the web showing how easy it is to connect an actual headset straight into the controller as long as it has the head phone jack. ….mic and all works fine they say

PS4 battlefield 4 is the only game i have and its crashing im starting to get mad that i cant play my 400$ console .its happening on and offline its frustrating

I second the button layout issue + thebgj – I had the same layout for every other shooter so not being able to change it back kinda blows. CoD:G let me do it, why not here?

EA when are u going to PATCH up BF4 all I can do is play for a couple of Min. Before that damn Error message comes up… Then u have to uninstall it to reinstall to get it running and it happens again … Every other game that I have Killzone, COD Ghost, Need for speed, knack, AC4, Lego Marvel Super Heroes all work fine except BF4…. And @23 the Sony Pulse Elite work great you have to plug them in to the DuelShock 4 with the head set wire it comes with…. Hope that helps…. And I hope everyone Enjoys their PS4 as much as i am……Game one Gamers

Not being able to play certain modes kind of kills the software for me. Come on Dice get your patches for this game up and going. Need that fix quick probably the best looking game on the system and would be the most fun if i could play it :)
