With two short weeks away from the launch of GT6, we are excited to unveil the first Vision GT project – the Mercedes- Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo, made specifically for everyone to virtually experience on 12/6.
Gran Turismo 6 players will soon be able to choose an alternative version of the virtual Mercedes-Benz super sports car. The “Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series” offers further enhancements over the regular show car which was presented as physical 1:1 model in California. To ensure perfect downforce and great handling stability in tough racetrack conditions on PlayStation 3, the Racing Series has a fixed rear spoiler while the show car version has an extending variant of this integrated into the boot lid. In addition, the third brake light in the middle of the rear end lights up in red as the Gran Turismo logo, unmistakably confirming the identity of the high-performance gullwing racer. Visitors of the LA Autoshow were the first to drive this car virtually in Gran Turismo 6 next to the 1:1 show car at the Mercedes-Benz booth.
Powered by the AMG V8 biturbo, the engine delivers an exceptionally agile response to even the smallest movements of the accelerator. It develops 430 kW (585 hp) and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. With an aluminium spaceframe body and components in carbon fiber, the material of choice in motor racing, the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo tips the scales at only 1385 kilograms. That amounts to around 2.4 kilograms per hp – an unrivalled figure in the super sports car segment, and one that guarantees exceptionally dynamic performance. The weight distribution of 46 percent at the front and 54 percent at the rear promises plenty of driving pleasure.

Polyphony Digital are the masters of racing sims. Watching them grow since I was a kid leaves me with nothing but pride. A PS exclusive that I’ve played since the 1st.

I pre ordered this at GameStop just to get the 15th anniversary edition. I’m loving the reveal list though. Still most excited about the “GT Vision” concept cars.

WHY, WHY, WHY can’t you do some sort of port to PS4? I love my PS3 and Gran Turismo… I really do, But my PS4 is shiny and new… I want to play GT for 500+ hours, but right now my PS4 is getting all the attention. I’m still getting it because it’s GT, but really wish it was available for PS4… even if it is a port. Can’t wait to see GT on the PS4.

why must I buy it on disc then sell the disc lose money and buy the digital version when it comes out.
I wouldnt care about getting disc over digital if it wasnt for not being able to install the full game like xbox360 so the disc doesnt spin super loud the whole time and wear down the disc reader!!!!
PD said GT5 wasnt digital because it was too big so its like whatever the only way to play is on disc anyway but no Europe is getting day 1 digital so why not US?? :((((
Same with God of War Ascension Europe got digital version way before US. I think playstation just wants it to be a big news story/advertisement for the game all over again when they announce when the digital version is released like god of war..

As some have said, it is available now for pre-order in Europe on the PSN… It would be so nice to have it digitally… 15GB as well so I read…I think..

Ken Chan, I’m a big fan of Gran Turismo right when I got the Gran Turismo 5. I’m really excited about the release of Gran Turismo 6, especially of the special edition of the 15th Anniversary Edition we all know. But, due to this big talking about Gran Turismo 6, in some places to order the game, I see the pre-order offer saying that the game himself brings the Precision Pack and 1.000.000 credits in-game.
Now my question is this, is every pre-order edition of Gran Turismo 6 15th Anniversary going to have the 5 car packs or is just going to have those packs only for some countries? In my case, I live in Portugal, and in the stores where I can pre-order Gran Turismo 6 15th Anniversary say that the game brings the pre-order pack (Precision Pack) and 1.000.000 credits in game.
Could you explain this to me? I would like to hear from you!
Also, I was really sad when I saw the GameStop exclusive of Gran Turismo 6 15th Anniversary saying that the shipping was only for USA and not for other countries.
