Black Friday Deals for PS3, PS Vita, and PS Plus

November has been a huge month for PlayStation, and there’s never been a better time to join PlayStation Nation. We’ve got some incredible Black Friday deals for PS3, PS Vita, PS Plus and more, to keep November going strong.

PS3

We’re putting two of the most popular PS3 titles of 2013 together to bring you the PS3 Black Friday Bundle for only $199 (MSRP). This bundle includes a 250GB PS3, Batman Arkham Origins, and The Last of Us — one of the highest-rated games of the year. That’s $165 worth of savings.

So Black Friday is the perfect time to pick up a PS3, and we’re continuing to bring you great content on the platform. Gran Turismo 6, the latest entry in one of the most popular franchises in PlayStation history, will launch exclusively on PS3 on December 6th. Not to mention blockbusters like Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4…

Black Friday Deals

PS Vita

It’s also a great time to pick up a PS Vita, so you can play Tearaway — which launched today to stellar reviews — and recent hits like Killzone Mercenary, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, and Spelunky.

PS Vita is the ultimate companion device for PS4 through key features like Remote Play, letting gamers play most PS4 titles on their PS Vita via Wi-Fi on their home network, freeing up the television for other uses. Check out the various deals below:

PS Plus

There will also be a special Black Friday deal for PlayStation Plus at select retailers nationwide. Pick up 1 year of PS Plus for only $29.99* — that’s 40% off the regular price of $49.99. With PS Plus, you’ll get new games every month with Instant Game Collection. You’ll also get access to online multiplayer on the PS4 system. Best of all, one membership will cover you across your PS4, PS3, and PS Vita… for just $29.99* on Black Friday only.

*Limit 2 per person, per purchase. Offer valid 11/29/13 only, while supplies last.

  • not anymore, back to 49,99$.

  • 1. If I bought content in different region (like PS+ membership through US Amazon) can I still activate/redeem that content on my SEN account registered in another region? (Im EU – IE)
    2. Same as above – content is bought in different country BUT within same REGION?

I will greatly appreciate quick response to finally be able start shopping ;)

  • 481:

    1. NO….US PS+ for US PSN
    2. YES i guess….Ireland? So you’re using UK PSN?

  • Not sure if anyone mentioned this before or not & if Sony can answer as to why this is, but why is Target selling the basic bare bones Vita at the old MSRP of $249.99 still??

What a way to rip unsuspecting people off. Way to go Target!

  • Is the playstation plus card for 29.99 available in Canadian retailers or just U.S retailers? I tried to look up at walmart store before midnight and I couldn’t find it and then when I came back today…I found it but it scans as 49 dollars? :( I checked through amazon.ca and the price is the 49 dollars while amazon.com is 29 dollars…Why is that?

  • @Nick_or_Dawood – This is my first Playstation console, just got the PS4 on Tuesday. So having this big ol’ slap in the face to us Canadians is creating a really sour taste in my mouth.

“Thanks for spending your hard earned money on our new console. You want some great deals? We will have awesome deals on Friday. Oh, you’re Canadian? Sorry, our awesomeness can’t seem to make it across an invisible boundary line. Guess you’re S.O.L.”

    Thanks Sony, very impressed /s

  • @DoctorKwakkwak – The only way us Canadians can get the deal currently is if you order it through Amazon.com and when it comes time for checkout, change your shipping and billing address to an American one. It doesn’t matter in the end because the code is just emailed to you, so the address you input is pointless.

That is the only workaround at the moment. Unless Sony suddenly comes out with a way for us Canadians to purchase these codes legitimately.

  • Of course naturally, on Amazon.com the price has gone back up to the regular $49.99. So if you didn’t take advantage before, now you’re too late.

  • But maybe like people said, Sony is waiting until Cyber Monday to do it and I’m sure there will be other $30 deals for PS+ on Cyber Monday and if not then we wait until Boxing Day. It’s only a month away.

  • @igorrocks – ya, I usually use my visa debit bank card (CIBC) with online shopping in states so I avoid all that extra $$ :)

hopefully one will come boxing day, then I will grab another one as well

  • Just so everyone knows, I was finally able to redeem my PS+ 1 year card. So everyone else can give it a try now.

  • Why can’t I add bioshock infinite to my cart? It just went to my ps3 to download. I am away and not near my system i don’t want to miss out on the deal.

  • I just bought the $29.99 1-year PS Plus Black Friday deal. I’m currently a subscriber. Am I not able to use this card to stack up my current subscription? I got an error code when I enter the code.

  • + Neonrid thanks for the reply! Yeah thats the way I was thinking about yesterday but I cannot take a risk especially when it talks about these codes cause some codes aren’t working to the other psn account regions! I give a example my gf bought me a ps vita in the philippines and ps vita that comes with codes for dlc or to play online….I logged in to my Canadian account and immediately redeem the code but I couldn’t redeem the codes because the code is made for asian region psn account…

  • It’s possible they are still having issues. I tried entering my code last night several times and during the earlier parts of today and all that would happen is after I clicked continue it would pop me back to the main dashboard. I wouldn’t even get an error. Finally I entered it again, and it worked.

The Network is severely congested, so just keep trying or try again at a later time and it should work fine.

If you are already a current member, any extra years that you purchase and add to your account will just stack on top.

  • @DocktorKwakkwak – understandable. However I believe North American doesn’t distinguish between Canadian and American.

  • heads up gta5 code on amazon for $34

  • Just curious if the ps plus code redeem server is fixed or not? It is frustrating to see error message again.

  • Expected alot more from black friday.

  • Can we at least expect some Cyber Monday deals to make up for the lack of Vita support here?

Thanks for the suggestion! This deal is not available on the PlayStation Store however, just at select retailers.

Shame on Sony for misleading comments, and moderating my previous user comment which is not yet approved. I loaded up my SEN wallet because BOTH the blog banner CURRENTLY LIVE RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE, and this link : http://us.playstation.com/psn/playstation_plus_new/.. very clearly indicate that PSN Store was also going to have the PS-Plus deal. You have a BUY BUTTON under that link for crying out loud.

Why have all the tripe about “limit 2 per customer”??? Retailers like Amazon / Newegg allowed much higher than that. Blatant false advertising.. expect a class action suit for misleading your customers Sony.

  • guys no love for my question? :(

can i ask tGod Of War: Ascension does this include online pass when I buy this one for 19.99?

    anyone guys :(

  • ^^ Any game I’ve bought digitally also included the online pass. God of war Ascension should be the same.

  • If I buy a ps4 plus I can’t even use it because I don’t have a credit card or debut so how do I become a plus member. I hope that this will change.

  • Add me on PSN: Jaepee

  • Wolf- ask your mommy to put hers in.

  • I still can’t believe someone like Crystal hasn’t posted on here to apologize to us Canadians who were promised a deal and received nothing.

  • Maybe what Crystal meant was Canadians could always just buy the digital code from Amazon.com with a fake US address – that’s totally the same as a “Canadian Black Friday Plus deal”. THE only thing I can think of is that she was counting the Buy $60 Get $10 back as the Canadian PS+ deal

  • For those of you that missed the amazon black friday ps+ 1year deal for $29.99, I just paid for one today on Dell’s website.

The only downside is that it is not a digital download, it will have to be mailed to you.

You can get yours here before the deal ends….:

  • @withsilverwings – since what us Canadians had to do with Amazon.com isn’t exactly the ideal situation, I could hardly imagine Crystal encouraging us to lie about our shipping addresses so we could purchase a PS+ subscription card from the US.

I think she just assumed that they would be having some deals in Canada, and didn’t realize that she made a huge mistake by not actually checking first before saying there would be deals.

In the end I don’t care because my parents have a winter house down in Florida so I was able to use their address to purchase my PS+ card legally. It was just a hassle. I couldn’t understand why Amazon.ca couldn’t offer the same deal, it’s not like any products were actually shipped – it was just an email.

  • This is got to be the most frustrating for a consumer, who most likely pre-ordered the new console, lined up and with all his hard earned money spent ( or borrowed from Mom and Dad) on a new Sony product, we are just looking for that break. That break came on Black Friday for a good chunk of my fellow gamers below the 49th Parallel on the Amazon USA site. But even today Best Buy USA is selling PSN plus for %10 off, another deal that we can’t take advantage of.

I read the posts Crystal MacKenzie, the Brand Marketing Manager, Hardware. I saw the light, It was quite clear, so I just want a similar deal. Most likely $39 , the same price Microsoft is offering through out the next month , not just restricted to Amazon but to all retailers in Canada. My free month is going to expire soon and really want to continue the service, just one card would be sufficient. I promise I won’t stack up, I will purchase more products at Suggest retail prices. Can’t Crystal just take ownership even though her words have gone beyond this forum. Help us out.
