  • I love music unlimited but it plays 3 songs and the error pops up saying disconnected from server.

  • Can someone tell me, how come some of my Fairy Tail Episodes, episode of Angel Beats etc. Won’t show up on my PS4 Video Unlimited to stream? I find it rather annoying that I can’t watch content that I already own and can watch on my Vita. Please let me know why

    • Hi Teflon02,

Due to a difference in functionality between PS3 and PS4, some movies and TV episodes will not be available on your PS4 yet. However, rest assured that we are processing content every day to make all your purchases available to you.

  • ULTRAVIOLET?

When is VideoUnlimited going to become part of the UltraViolet digital rights sharing consortium? Once they join, the service will finally provide good value to customers and be worth using. Until then, only rent videos, don’t buy.

  • Wish music unlimited loaded faster on PS4. works great though.

  • On the PS4 after the 1.51 update, I’ve noticed that the music will drop out every so often, or say that it stopped.

At times, it will drop for 5-10 mins. and then come back all of a sudden.

    I didn’t have the problems before 1.51.

Thursday wasn’t as bad as it was on Wednesday and I was thinking it may be the high volume of users.

Also, just noticed R.I.P.D is in the 3D section (thanks for that).

Hoping that 3D movie support soon comes to the PS4 as well (sure glad I have my PS3 still to view 3D movies).

With so many people getting or having a 3D tv now, we need more selection in that section. (tvs are a lot cheaper now with the feature).

  • When will mote ps4s be available please let us know

  • I would rather just have the ability to play music I own.

Also, I got the free trial of this, and it is barely worth being free. Anytime I want to change music from the XMB, other than skipping a track, I have to start up Music Unlimited again. This takes as long as starting up a disc based game.

Just give us back the right to play music we own, and stop dropping the fact we can’t do so two weeks before a console launch.

  • my free 30 day code that come with my ps4 dont work

  • Just wanted to add to my post above, the problem on the PS4 with Music Unlimited is still occurring today Sat. Nov 23/13

I’ve asked a couple of other friends and they mention they had similar problems.

Songs will cut out and then later come back, but it’s only happening on the PS4; the PS3 and my Vita are fine and the problem doesn’t happen on them.

Wondering as well if the publish the song feature to Facebook will be added to the PS4 in the near future for Music Unlimited ?

  • @Elina Chen
Thank you for the reply. To be honest, I don’t know if I should trust Sonys word on availability. Since to this day I’m still waiting over a year for Crash Bandicoot to work on my Vita. But I’ll take your word for it. I think you guys should have a list of what doesn’t work at the moment. Cause for me only Dragon Ball Z, only episodes 49+ of Fairy Tail, One Piece and 2 random free episodes I had.
    Please don’t leave me disappointed.

  • wow i cant believe you charge people for this awful service. Every 10 minutes it quits playback and when i try to open it it says “cannot open application”. Ya im starting to see why your forcing people to use this service as the only way to listen to music because clearly you need the money to make “massive imporvments” to this service. Just an FYI the 30 day trial wasnt a very good idea because if this keeps up no one will ever renew it

  • Sony: We would still like an update on you decision for mp3/DNLA support on the PS4.
The Xbox One is dominating in the media center department. The PS4 is useless as a media player without important basics such as this.

I supported Music Unlimted for a year, and its not a bad service for sampling New music, but this is not a substitute for the ability to play the music I already own
    Please let us know…

  • I personally enjoy MU, especially during my gaming sessions. But similar to what has already been mentioned, I have a few complaints. This is sporadic, but the Initial loading MU takes longer than loading a game. sometimes it’s very quick. I have no idea what to expect. Secondly, after having it open and playing, if I decide to switch app then back to MU it has to reload all over again. What gives? the music is still playing, but we’re only able to go forward or backwards only after holding the PS button.

This seems to be the only feature on the PS4 that takes any great amount of time. Everything else is usually very snappy, and great to use. I forgot to cancel the automatic renewal, so I’ll give it another 30 days. but I can’t see myself staying with it, if this isn’t fix.

  • I tried to redeem my free trial that came with my PS4 yesterday and it gave me an error that said the code was either invalid or typed in wrong. I know for a fact I typed it in correctly every time. I even tried to redeem it on my PS3 and my Vita. I got the error every time.

  • Help! I want to back out of music unlimited but leave the music playing whilst I browese playsation store and etc. How do I do it? I cnat even back out and close it to open another app without shutting the ps4 down. That surely cannot be right!! Any help greatly appreciated#
